Nacionalizaciones en Bolivia generan 13.000 millones de dólares de reservas internacionales

El presidente de Bolivia, Evo Morales, resaltó que desde que su Gobierno recuperó los recursos naturales, la situación económica de ese país mejoró y se convirtió en una importante referencia a nivel internacional.

Desde el acto de conmemoración de los 355 años de la fundación del municipio Caraparí en el departamento de Tarija, ubicado al sur de Bolivia, Morales dijo que “mediante los recursos naturales se generan muchas divisas que están democratizadas en Bolivia”.

Agregó que la región tiene tratamiento especial debido a que la situación económica cambió, después de la nacionalización. Indicó que desde las tierras de Caraparí se da la vida a Bolivia, haciendo referencia a los recursos hidrocarburíferos que se generan en la zona.

En este orden, el mandatario boliviano comentó que desde 2006 aumentaron los ingresos por transferencias al Tesoro General de la Nación (TGN) de 2 millones de bolivianos en 2001 a 23 millones de bolivianos en 2012, (entre unos 287.356 dólares y 3.304.597 dólares).

De igual manera, señaló que es importante reconocer la lucha del pueblo, de los movimientos sociales y obreros. Asimismo, dijo que además de la política de nacionalización, también han sido importantes la agenda patriótica para que Bolivia sea parte del debate mundial.

Habló de la importancia de priorizar la inversión en proyectos productivos y reiteró que la asignación de regalías a esa región está garantizada por la Constitución Política del Estado (CPE).

Desde que llegó al poder en enero de 2006, Morales nacionalizó la riqueza hidrocarburífera, empresas de telecomunicaciones, hidroeléctricas, de electricidad, fundidoras de minerales y administradoras de pensiones de empresas de Brasil, España, Suiza, Canadá, Italia, Gran Bretaña y Perú entre otros países.

En diversas oportunidades, el mandatario ha señalado que los excedentes económicos se quedan en Bolivia, gracias a las medidas de nacionalización, que permitieron que las Reservas Internacionales Netas se disparen de 1.300 millones en 2006 a más de 13.000 millones de dólares en la actualidad.
