Beteilige Dich vom 10. bis 17. Oktober an Märschen und Großdemonstrationen oder organisiere regionale Aktionen verteilt in ganz Europa und Nordamerika.

Wir, die zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen, Gewerkschaften, Landwirt*innen und Graswurzelbewegungen von beiden Seiten des Atlantiks lehnen TTIP, CETA, TiSA und TPP ab. Diese Handelsabkommen gefährden unsere Demokratie, unsere öffentlichen Dienstleistungen, wie auch unsere sozialen und ökologischen Standards. Ebenso gefährden sie kleinbäuerlich Landwirtschaft, Ernährung- und Arzneimittelstandards, die unabkömmliche Energiewende, wie auch die Möglichkeit unsere Gesellschaft zum Guten zu ändern. Die Nutznießer*innern dieser Abkommen sind nicht die Bürger*innen, sondern Großkonzerne, die diese Abkommen entwickeln und dafür Lobbyarbeit betreiben.

In Europa ist die Bewegung gegen TTIP und CETA über die letzten zwei Jahre massiv gewachsen. Am 6. Oktober läuft die Selbstorganisierte Bürgerinitiative gegen TTIP und CETA mit über 2,6 Millionen Unterschriften aus. Um diesen Erfolg zu feiern und unsere Forderungen zu verstärken, gehen wir am 10. Oktober gemeinsam auf die Straße. Zur gleichen Zeit werden tausende Menschen durch Europa laufen, um versammelt den EU-Gipfel am 15. Oktober in Brüssel zu blockieren. Wir sagen damit deutlich Nein zu Austerität, Armut und TTIP!

Menschen in Nord- und Lateinamerika, wie auch die pazifische Bevölkerung organisieren sich, um das Transpazifische Partnerschaftsabkommen (TPP) abzuwehren, welches Ende diesen Jahres oder Anfang 2016 verabschiedet werden soll. US-Bürger*innen werden diesbezüglich stark umgangen: Barack Obama wurde kürzlich die Macht eingeräumt, die geheimen Geschäfte durch den US-Kongress zu beschleunigen. Dennoch kommen so viele Menschen wie nie zuvor, aus allen TPP-Ländern zu gemeinsamem Protest zusammen. Sie wollen die unternehmerische Globalisierung stoppen und stattdessen nachhaltige politische, wirtschaftliche und soziale Beziehungen aufbauen, die auf Gerechtigkeit gestützt sind und nicht auf Habgier.

Über mehrere Jahrzehnte hinweg konnten wir auf beiden Seiten des Atlantiks einen massiven Machttransfer von öffentlichen zu privaten Interessen beobachten. Dies fördert wirtschaftliche und finanzielle Liberalisierungen, wachsende Ungleichheiten, Armut und Umweltzerstörung. TTIP, CETA, TiSA und TPP sind Versuche, diese irrtümlichen Entscheidungen nun unumkehrbar zu machen. Unser Kampf, diese geheimen Abkommen zu stoppen, hallt in Sozialen Bewegungen wider, welche der Austeritätspolitik widerstehen und für Klima- und Sozialgerechtigkeit kämpfen.

Wir kämpfen für Gleichberechtigung, Sozial- und Arbeitsrechte, Klimagerechtigkeit und echte Demokratie.
