Πόλεμος ενάντια στο "1984"

του system failure

Τελευταία, σκεφτόμουν έντονα τη φράση του Γάλλου διανοητή Αλαίν Μπαντιού που είχε πει ότι παρακολουθούμε την κρίση σαν ένα θέαμα και συνειδητοποιώ ότι τελικά δεν είχε και πολύ άδικο. Στην Ελλάδα, αν και όλοι μας βιώνουμε τις συνέπειες της κρίσης, άλλος λιγότερο και άλλος περισσότερο, εξακολουθούμε να παρακολουθούμε την κρίση μέσα από τους τηλεοπτικούς δέκτες σαν να είναι ένα θέαμα που δεν μας αφορά.

Ίσως αυτό να είναι το μεγαλύτερο επίτευγμα του συστημικού κατεστημένου, πέρα από το γεγονός ότι εκμεταλλεύεται τα πολυεπίπεδα αντικρουόμενα συμφέροντα μιας μεσαίας τάξης που τρώει τις σάρκες της, μέσα σε έναν ιδιότυπο ενδοταξικό εμφύλιο πόλεμο. Διότι κατάφερε να μας κάνει να παρακολουθούμε τα φερέφωνά του μέσα από τις συσκευές προπαγάνδας που ο καθένας έχει στο σπίτι του, την ίδια στιγμή που πολλοί συμπολίτες μας οδηγούνται στην αυτοκτονία, θύματα στο βωμό αυτού του κατεστημένου που προσπαθεί να κρατηθεί όρθιο και να διατηρήσει την εξουσία του, να επικρατήσει ολοκληρωτικά.

Αν και ζούμε ίσως την μεγαλύτερη επιχείρηση προπαγάνδας των συστημικών ΜΜΕ από την εποχή της χούντας, οι περισσότεροι Έλληνες συνεχίζουμε να ενημερωνόμαστε από την τηλεόραση και τα δελτία ειδήσεων των μεγαλύτερων καναλιών και εφημερίδων. Και το καταπληκτικό είναι ότι, όπως πολύ εύστοχα είχε πει ο Νίκος Κοτζιάς, οι περισσότεροι Έλληνες αναπαράγουν τις ειδήσεις των mainstream media παρόλο που δεν τις πιστεύουν!

Να λοιπόν που σε αυτή την περίπτωση η πραγματικότητα ξεπερνά την φαντασία. Γιατί όταν ο Όργουελ έγραφε το κλασικό του έργο "1984", μάλλον δεν θα μπορούσε να φανταστεί, ότι μια μέρα οι άνθρωποι θα είχαν μεν μέσα στα σπίτια τους τις συσκευές που περιγράφει, αλλά ότι θα πατούσαν το κουμπί μόνοι τους λόγω του εγκεφαλικού εθισμού τους, χωρίς στην πραγματικότητα να τους το επιβάλει κανένας. Ότι μέσα από την προπαγάνδα και την ψυχολογική τρομοκρατία, οι άνθρωποι θα επέλεγαν μόνοι τους, μέσα από φαινομενικά δημοκρατικές διαδικασίες, κυβερνήσεις-υπηρέτες του συστημικού κατεστημένου, που θα συνέχιζαν το έργο της ίδιας τους της εξαθλίωσης και της υποταγής τους. Ότι θα φτάναν στο σημείο να αναπαράγουν την προπαγάνδα, παρόλο που έχουν πάψει να πιστεύουν αυτά που λένε τα φερέφωνα μέσα από τις συσκευές.

Τα golden boys της "δημοσιογραφίας" εξακολουθούν να αμείβονται πλουσιοπάροχα την ίδια στιγμή που η πλειοψηφία των Ελλήνων εξοντώνεται από τα σκληρά μέτρα λιτότητας και περικοπών μέσα στη δίνη της οικονομικής κρίσης. Δεν είναι καθόλου τυχαίο, αφού στην ουσία πρόκειται για καλοπληρωμένα στελέχη τραπεζών. Οι κοινωνίες βρίσκονται υπό κατοχή. Το "1984" συμβαίνει εδώ και τώρα και είναι χειρότερο από τη φαντασία, γιατί επιβάλλεται ύπουλα, οι κοινωνίες συναινούν προκειμένου να κυριαρχήσει.

Όμως το "καθεστώς" κατάφερε κάτι ακόμα χειρότερο, κατάφερε να μας κάνει να παίζουμε το παιχνίδι όλο και περισσότερο με τους δικούς του όρους. Όσο και αν μισούμε τους τραπεζίτες, τα golden boys, τους κερδοσκόπους και τους αεριτζίδες, που φόρτωσαν τα σπασμένα στους μισθωτούς και τους συνταξιούχους, έχουμε μάθει να μιλάμε με αριθμούς, όπως θέλουν αυτοί και οι οικονομολόγοι της "νέας οικονομίας", οι πιστοί στρατιώτες του καθεστώτος. Κοντεύουμε να γίνουμε ειδικοί στα οικονομικά, μέσα από την πλύση εγκεφάλου που εξαπολύουν καθημερινά τα καθεστωτικά φερέφωνα. Το "καθεστώς" επιχειρεί να διαμορφώσει κοινωνίες πραγματιστών που με έναν κυνικό ψευδοορθολογισμό θα είναι έτοιμες να οδηγηθούν στην αυτοχειρία για "ένα καλύτερο αύριο". Γι'αυτό άλλωστε όποιος τολμάει, στα πάνελ των τραπεζοκρατούμενων καναλιών, να μιλήσει για ανθρώπους και δυστυχία, καταντάει σχεδόν γραφικός, πολλές φορές αντιμετωπίζεται και με μια συγκαλυμμένη ειρωνεία, γιατί τα καλοπληρωμένα στελέχη απαιτούν να μιλήσει με τη γλώσσα τους, με αριθμούς και στοιχεία. Τι θα γίνει αν δεν πάρουμε τόσα δισ.; Που θα τα βρείτε τα λεφτά; Πόσο θα μεγαλώσει το έλλειμμα; Πόσο θα είναι το ΑΕΠ και το χρέος την τάδε χρονιά;

Όμως και οι πολίτες διαδηλώνουν στους δρόμους με αιτήματα που ανήκουν σε αυτό το "καθεστώς". Όσο η μεσαία τάξη αυτοκαταστρέφεται, όσο διεκδικεί πράγματα με τους όρους του νεοφιλελεύθερου καθεστώτος, τόσο περισσότερο αυτό θα επικρατεί και θα επιβάλει τους όρους του, παγιδεύοντας τις κοινωνίες μέσα σε ένα φαύλο κύκλο πολιτισμικής παρακμής.

Παραδόξως, άκουσα τους προβληματισμούς των Μπαντιού και Κοτζιά μέσα από συνεντεύξεις και παρουσίες τους στην τηλεόραση. Διότι η συσκευή προπαγάνδας έχει μερικές φορές και καλά πράγματα για να δεις και να ακούσεις. Παραδόξως, υποστηρίζω ότι πρέπει να βλέπουμε τις ειδήσεις των καλοπληρωμένων μεγαλοδημοσιογράφων και τις στημένες τηλεοπτικές τους εκπομπές, όχι βέβαια για να αναπαράγουμε αυτά που λένε, αλλά για να εκπαιδευτούμε ώστε να ξεσκεπάζουμε τα ψέματα, τις υπερβολές και τις αντιφάσεις τους. Και δεν χρειάζεται κανείς να είναι ιδιαίτερα έξυπνος για να το κάνει. Απλά χρειάζεται να επιστρατεύσει την κοινή λογική και να επαναφέρει την κριτική σκέψη. Διότι με τη βοήθεια της κριτικής σκέψης που σήμερα είναι σχεδόν νεκρή, θα καταλάβουμε ότι αυτός ο κυνικός πραγματισμός είναι μια τρέλα, ότι ο ψευδοορθολογισμός τους είναι όντως ψεύτικος και στην ουσία πρόκειται για παραλογισμό. Έτσι θα αρχίσουμε τον πόλεμο ενάντια στο "1984" που ζούμε σήμερα.
