Ex-mainstream media journalist reveals: We knew that the plane flew to Italy to get money for the banks!

Maria Spyraki, ex-journalist for MEGA channel, one of the biggest tv channels in Greece, now candidate for the euro-elections with the main government coalition party Nea Dimokratia, revealed among other things:

“Greece had a bank-run in the period between the elections of May and June of 2012. This means that, in reality, people were going to the banks and taking their money. This was something that no one in my position could ever tell. No one could ever tell for example that there could be a moment where someone could go to a bank and say 'Good evening, I want ten thousand euro' and the bank would say to him 'I'm sorry, we have no money', because then, everything would end."

“There was a process which was very painful, it was the process of supplying cash to Greece. The plane was taking off from Elefsina, flying to Italy, and returning with cash for the Bank of Greece which was distributing them to the other banks. This was something that we never described ...”

Spyraki didn't make clear of course what she meant by saying "everything would end" - who would be those that would go down first, while in essence she admitted that the argument of "securing of deposits" by the mainstream media, was a fairy tale to justify the recapitalization of the banks.

Someone of course should also explain: what was the deal for this process of supplying cash to Greece through a plane under such a secrecy? Had all these money included in the balance sheets of the banks or were they just off-balance sheets black money like in the case of the Federal Reserve, which supplied the US shadow banking system with at least 9 trillion dollars during the period of the economic crisis?
