Ρουμελιώτης: Καθυστέρησαν το κούρεμα για να ξεφορτωθούν τα ομόλογα οι Γαλλογερμανικές τράπεζες

Μυστικές συναντήσεις στελεχών του ΔΝΤ με κυβερνητικούς εκπροσώπους της Γερμανίας και της Γαλλία, σε ξενοδοχεία της Ουάσιγκτον, προκειμένου να μην γίνει αναδιάρθρωση του χρέους της χώρας μας, μέχρι οι τράπεζες αυτών των δύο χωρών απαλλαγούν από τα ελληνικά ομόλογα αποκάλυψε ο πρώην εκπρόσωπος της Ελλάδας στο ΔΝΤ κ. Παναγιώτης Ρουμελιώτης μιλώντας στην Επιτροπή Αλήθειας της Βουλής.

Οι συναντήσεις αυτές αποκαλύφθηκαν πρόσφατα από έρευνα που διενεργείται στο ΔΝΤ και πραγματοποιήθηκαν, προτού μπει η χώρα στα μνημόνια (2010) προκειμένου να μην προχωρήσει το Ταμείο στην αναδιάρθρωση του χρέους παρά τις σαφείς προβλέψεις ότι δεν ήταν βιώσιμο.

Οι γαλλικές τράπεζες ήταν εκτεθειμένες σε ελληνικά ομόλογα ύψους 60 δις και οι γερμανικές σε ομόλογα 35 δις.

«Θυσιάστηκαν τα συμφέροντα των Ελλήνων πολιτών προκειμένου οι ξένες τράπεζες να κερδίσουν χρόνο και να ρευστοποιήσουν τα ομόλογα που είχαν στην κατοχή τους πριν το κούρεμα, που ακολούθησε το 2012», είπε ο κ. Ρουμελιώτης.

Στην πολύωρη τοποθέτηση του, ο κ. Ρουμελιώτης, στάθηκε ιδιαίτερα στην ανακεφαλαιοποίηση των τεσσάρων ελληνικών συστημικών τραπεζών με 24 δις επισημαίνοντας ότι η τιμή με την οποία το κράτος πήρε μετοχές των τραπεζών έχει κατά πολύ σήμερα μειωθεί με συνέπεια το κράτος να κινδυνεύει να υποστεί μεγάλη ζημιά καθώς στο δεύτερο μνημόνιο αναφέρεται ότι το 2017 οι τράπεζες πρέπει να επαναϊδιωτικοποιηθούν με τιμές που θα έχουν εκείνη την στιγμή. Ήδη τα 24 δις που δόθηκαν για την ανακεφαλαιοποίηση σήμερα είναι 16 δις. Και τη ζημιά θα την υποστούν οι Έλληνες φορολογούμενοι.

Ακόμη ο κ. Ρουμελιώτης τόνισε ότι οι Αμερικανοί αξιωματούχοι ήταν εξοργισμένοι με τη στάση των Γερμανών στην αντιμετώπιση της ελληνικής κρίσης , ενώ οι ελληνική κυβέρνηση το 2010, με τις δηλώσεις της και τους χειρισμούς της, συνέβαλε αποφασιστικά στο να δυσφημιστεί η Ελλάδα διεθνώς και να αποκλεισθεί από τις αγορές.

Ο κ. Ρουμελιώτης αναφέρθηκε στην έρευνα του CIGI την οποία διενήργησε ο Πολ Μπλουστάιν και αποκάλυψε ότι ο Ζαν Κλοντ Τρισέ, τότε πρόεδρος της Ευρωπαϊκής Κεντρικής Τράπεζας απέρριψε κατηγορηματικά την πρόταση αναδιάρθρωσης του χρέους φοβούμενος για τις ζημιές που θα είχαν οι τράπεζες της Γαλλία και της Γερμανίας οι οποίες ήταν τότε «φορτωμένες» με ελληνικά κρατικά ομόλογα.

Με την προσπάθεια αυτή ευθυγραμμίστηκε πλήρως ο εθνικός τραπεζίτης, τόνισε ο κ. Ρουμελιώτης αναφερόμενος στη στάση του κ. Προβόπουλου, ο οποίος μάλιστα είχε ενημερωθεί με μυστικό έγγραφο που του είχε αποσταλεί στις 25 Μαρτίου του 2010 και στο οποίο αναφερόταν ότι ακόμη κι ένα πρόγραμμα με ηπιότερα μέτρα από αυτά που τελικώς ελήφθησαν θα οδηγούσε σε διάρρηξη του κοινωνικού ιστού και θα οδηγούσε σε αποτυχία τα μέτρα ήταν μη ρεαλιστικά και θα προκαλούσαν μεγάλους σπασμούς στην οικονομία και θα δημιουργούσε βαθιά ύφεση στην οικονομία, όπως και έγινε.
