Κούλογλου : Η CETA "τρώει" τη φέτα και τα ευρωπαϊκά ποιοτικά προϊόντα

«H συμφωνία οικονομικής συνεργασίας ΕΕ-Καναδά (CETA) δεν κατοχυρώνει πλήρως τη φέτα, διότι δίνει τη δυνατότητα να υπάρχουν προϊόντα 'τύπου φέτα'», τόνισε ο ευρωβουλευτής του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, Στέλιος Κούλογλου σε τηλεοπτική του συνέντευξη, προσθέτοντας ότι «προβλέπονται κάποιες μεταβατικές διατάξεις, σύμφωνα με τις οποίες, μετά από κάποιο καιρό μπορεί να ξανασυζητηθεί το θέμα».

Σύμφωνα με τη CETA, καναδικές εταιρείες μπορούν να παράγουν και να κυκλοφορούν στην αγορά της χώρας τους καναδική φέτα. Η CETA υπερψηφίστηκε από 8 Έλληνες ευρωβουλευτές - 5 της Ν.Δ., 2 από το ΠΟΤΑΜΙ και την κ. Καϊλή από το ΠΑΣΟΚ - ενώ καταψηφίστηκε από τους ευρωβουλευτές του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ.

Ο κ. Κούλογλου δήλωσε ότι οι ευρωβουλευτές του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ καταψήφισαν και αντιτέθηκαν στη συμφωνία, καθώς ευνοεί μόνο τις μεγάλες πολυεθνικές, ενώ αντίθετα βλάπτει τις μικρές και μεσαίες επιχειρήσεις, εκθέτοντάς τις σε έναν ανταγωνισμό στον οποίο δεν μπορούν να αντεπεξέλθουν. Η ελληνική φέτα δεν παράγεται από αγελαδινό γάλα, όπως οι απομιμήσεις, και δεν μπορεί να ανταγωνιστεί την απομίμηση καναδέζικης "φέτας".

Το θέμα αφορά και άλλα προϊόντα, ελληνικά αλλά και ευρωπαϊκά: π.χ. οι Γάλλοι οινοπαραγωγοί είναι πάρα πολύ δυσαρεστημένοι και έχουν κάνει πολύ μεγάλες κινητοποιήσεις για να μην περάσει η συμφωνία, το ίδιο και ευρωβουλευτές στις Βρυξέλλες. Η συμφωνία όμως τελικά πέρασε, διότι μεγάλες πολυεθνικές εταιρείες και μόνον αυτές ωφελούνται (π.χ. η BMW ή μια αυτοκινητοβιομηχανία ευνοείται, αν πουλάει τα αυτοκίνητά της φθηνότερα στον Καναδά, λόγω έλλειψης δασμών).

Για την ελληνική φέτα το πρόβλημα δεν είναι οι δασμοί, αλλά η ύπαρξη απομιμήσεων (το γνωστό "λευκό τυρί"), στη συσκευασία των οποίων δημιουργείται η δυνατότητα να αναγράφεται με μεγάλα γράμματα η λέξη "ΦΕΤΑ" και με ψιλά γράμματα "είδος φέτας". Έτσι ο καταναλωτής ξεγελιέται, καθώς παρασύρεται από τον τίτλο και δεν δίνει σημασία στα ψιλά γράμματα. Και όταν φυσικά είναι αρκετά φθηνότερες από την αυθεντική φέτα, ο κόσμος τις προτιμά. Υπάρχει βέβαια και μια μεταβατική ρύθμιση, που μετά από κάποια χρόνια θα εξομαλύνει την κατάσταση και θα αναγνωριστεί και η φέτα, αλλά όχι προς το παρόν.

Εκτός από το θέμα της CETA, o κ. Κούλογλου σχολίασε και την αύξηση φόρου στο τσίπουρο, που ζητείται από την Ευρώπη, λέγοντας ότι είναι ακραίο να πληρώνουν φόρους μικρές οικογενειακές παραγωγές, που φτιάχνουν τσίπουρο για δική τους κατανάλωση και για φίλους. Και στην Ελλάδα υπάρχουν κάποιοι που "καρφώνουν" τέτοια θέματα.

Ο κ. Στέλιος Κούλογλου δεν θεωρεί ότι πρόκειται για ένα "σχέδιο" εναντίον των ελληνικών προϊόντων και brandnames (λάδι, τσίπουρο, κρασί κ.τ.λ.), αλλά αφορά συνολικότερα όλα τα ευρωπαϊκά προϊόντα με γεωγραφική ένδειξη (γαλλικά κρασιά, ιταλικά τυριά, ισπανικά και ιταλικά αλλαντικά κ.τ.λ.) και για το λόγο αυτό έχουν γίνει στις Βρυξέλλες μεγάλες κινητοποιήσεις, εκθέσεις κ.τ.λ.

Όλο αυτό οφείλεται στην τεράστια επιρροή των μεγάλων πολυεθνικών εταιρειών και την πληρώνουν η φέτα και άλλα προϊόντα, γιατί δυστυχώς άλλο είναι η φέτα και άλλο η Mercedes.
