Latest ridiculous attempts by the US propaganda machine on Gaza, Venezuela – enjoy


Plenty of propaganda is manufactured by the US deep state apparatus to push for the imperialist agenda. Yet, some elements of the propaganda machine are still unable to realize that independent truth seekers and real journalists are watching, and therefore, these elements could be easily exposed.

Sloppy efforts immediately backfire in social media and the Internet. Most recent sloppy efforts are related to Gaza and Venezuela.

As the Newsweek reported:

Senior 2020 Trump campaign adviser Katrina Pierson used a 2015 video showing a Ukrainian rocket launch alongside comments about this weekend's deadly attacks between Israel and Gaza militants and a condemnation of congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

Pierson, who was Donald Trump's 2016 campaign spokesperson and is a frequent cable news guest, shared the video—which was first posted online in 2015 and reportedly shows Ukraine launching dozens of rockets at Russian-backed separatists—on Sunday.

Alongside the video, she told her 465,000 Twitter followers about the attacks, describing them as "650 Rockets being fired into Israel from Gaza" and demanded Minnesota Democrat Omar, who is the target of frequent conservative attacks, to condemn the Palestinians.

Naturally, this ridiculous propaganda attempt automatically backfired as many immediately identified the fraud. As Dan Cohen tweeted, "This video is from Ukraine, not Gaza. Trump advisor Katrina Pierson is fully aware she’s lying but is so thirsty for Palestinian blood that she’s happy to lie to create pretext for Israel to kill even more."


And Olga Lautman wrote: “Trump’s senior adviser is spreading disinfo!! Twitter needs to pull this video down. This video is NOT from Gaza and was shot in Ukraine and uploaded to YouTube Jan 2015. It’s outrageous Katrina Pierson would use footage from the war in Ukraine w/o condemning it to attack Dems.”


Then, CNN tried to convince us that Washington's puppet Juan Guaidó, was actually elected by the Venezuelan voters! As the RT reported:

CNN took the concept of “fake news” to a whole new level with a recent report on Venezuela, in which it claimed that citizens “chose” coup leader Juan Guaido over current president Nicolas Maduro in January “elections.”

In a report on Sunday’s deadly Venezuelan military helicopter crash, CNN wrote that “pressure is mounting” on Maduro to step down “following elections in January in which voters chose opposition leader Juan Guaido over him for president.”

Slight problem there, CNN.

Venezuela did not hold elections in January — and Guaido definitely did not win them. He did, however, try to seize power from Maduro by force in January with US backing — and then again in April. Both coup attempts failed and Maduro remains president with the support of millions of Venezuelans who still back him. But US officials have declared the Washington-friendly Guaido the country’s “legitimate” leader, so evidently this has been a confusing time for CNN’s intrepid reporters.

The effort was so ridiculously amateurish that immediately backfired on Twitter too. As Ben Norton pointed out, “CNN quietly issued an embarrassing correction to its ridiculous propaganda after pro-opposition journalists / PR people Bonner Jeanne and CNN Jackie FALSELY claimed that Trump-appointed right-wing Venezuelan puppet Juan Guaidó was "elected." Zero standards.”
And George Ciccariello-Maher wrote:

“Wtf, CNN???

1.) there was no election in January
2.) Juan Guaidó didn’t even run against Maduro in the last election
3.) the opposition boycotted and Maduro won...”
