Part 6 - The totalitarianism of the extreme center in politics and media

The slide of the extreme center towards fascism, made even more apparent the uniformity of liberal media propaganda and mass manipulation operations throughout the West.

One of the most characteristic examples was the composition of TV panels during the pandemic and the attempt to completely isolate and de-legitimize those who deviated, even slightly (as already mentioned above), from the imposed view that everyone should be vaccinated immediately. The similarities (regarding the setting up of the panels and the conduct of the debates) on major American television networks and the corresponding ones across the West, are more than obvious.

Another example, is the publication of an article by the veteran and Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist, Seymour Hersh, on the independent platform Substack, about the blow up of the Nord Stream pipelines. This article contains impressive details about the operation carried out by the Americans, from sources who had access to the operational planning. Nevertheless, the article was almost ignored by all major Western media, which reproduced various other versions - of who could be behind the pipeline blasts, in order to draw public attention away from these revelations.

Another, highly vulgar practice, concerns the recent genocide in Gaza. The way the mass casualties of Palestinian civilians are reported by the Western media is truly infuriating. We often see in headlines that a number of civilians were "killed", without mentioning how and by whom. That is, it is not clearly stated that they were killed by the Israeli army.

Even more infuriating are the blatantly one-sided reports regarding the hostages and the losses on both sides. The thousands of imprisoned Palestinians and Israel's crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, long before the events of October 7 with the Hamas attack, are never mentioned. And while there is a constant reporting on the Israeli hostages, an extensive report on the fact that the Israeli army has literally flattened Gaza and kills everything it moves {with the number of murdered civilians breaking all records), is deliberately restricted.

The totalitarianism of the extreme center can be seen in the political field as well. For example, the Mitsotakis regime in Greece, copied and applied the tactic of the extreme center in the US, concerning the weaponization of the Woke agenda, by bringing the same-sex marriage bill to the Greek parliament for voting. Through this way, the regime tried to counterbalance his apparent authoritarianism - with the severe deterioration of press freedom and rule of law, the escalation of police brutality and a number of other issues.

The more the extreme center throughout the West will be realizing that is losing control, the more will be sliding towards fascism. And with the Left politically neutralized, the forces of extreme conservatism (which are simply the other side of the same coin), will rush to take over.

In a global environment of unprecedented geopolitical turbulence - and a capitalism that has been already mutated into something much worse, the future for most of us, unfortunately, looks even more uncertain and dystopian.
