Η κυβέρνηση επισπεύδει την επίσκεψη Τσίπρα στη Μόσχα

“Το Κρεμλίνο απάντησε το μεσημέρι της Δευτέρας θετικά στο αίτημα που είχε υποβάλει η ελληνική κυβέρνηση για επίσκεψη του Έλληνα πρωθυπουργού στην Ρωσία στις αρχές Απριλίου. Συγκεκριμένα και σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες από τα «Νέα», ο Αλέξης Τσίπρας θα πραγματοποιήσει συνάντηση με τον πρόεδρο της Ρωσίας Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν στις 8 Απριλίου.”

“Η ελληνική αντιπροσωπεία, με βάση τον αρχικό προγραμματισμό, με επικεφαλής τον πρωθυπουργό επρόκειτο να μεταβεί στη Μόσχα στις 9 Μαΐου, έπειτα από πρόσκληση του Ρώσου προέδρου για συμμετοχή στις πανηγυρικές εκδηλώσεις για τα 70χρονα της αντιφασιστικής νίκης των λαών. Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, ωστόσο, το Μαξίμου φαίνεται πως επιδίωξε επίσπευση του ραντεβού Τσίπρα-Πούτιν, υπό το βάρος των ασφυκτικών πιέσεων που ασκούνται στην Αθήνα από πλευράς Βρυξελλών και Βερολίνου.”


Η Ελληνική κυβέρνηση επιχειρεί να μεταφέρει την πίεση στο Γερμανικό στρατόπεδο και στην πλευρά των δανειστών. Ενδεχομένως η επίσπευση να συνδέεται με την πρόσκληση Μέρκελ προς τον Τσίπρα για την συνάντηση της ερχόμενης Δευτέρας. Ο Τσίπρας στέλνει ένα ακόμα μήνυμα για την αποφασιστικότητα της κυβέρνησης να χρησιμοποιήσει το χαρτί της Ρωσίας, ως άμυνα απέναντι στις ασφυκτικές πιέσεις που θα δεχθεί.

Επιπλέον, η απόφαση της επίσπευσης ένα μήνα νωρίτερα, ίσως έχει να κάνει και με το γεγονός ότι η κυβέρνηση χρειάζεται να βεβαιωθεί για τις προθέσεις του Πούτιν, έχοντας στη διάθεσή της μεγαλύτερο χρονικό περιθώριο πριν από την λήξη της τετράμηνης εκεχειρίας με τους δανειστές, ώστε να σχεδιάσει καλύτερα τις επόμενες κινήσεις της.

Ο Τσίπρας είναι βέβαιο ότι θα εκμεταλλευτεί την επίσκεψή του στη Μόσχα τον Μάιο προκειμένου να στείλει τα κατάλληλα μηνύματα, ενώ είναι πιθανό να εξετάσει όλες τις δυνατότητες για οικονομική βοήθεια από τα BRICS που δημιουργούν με γοργούς ρυθμούς ένα αυτόνομο οικονομικό σύστημα, ώστε να απεμπλακούν από το νεοφιλελεύθερο χρηματιστηριακό μονοπώλιο. Εν μέσω διαπραγματεύσεων, ο Τσίπρας βρήκε την ευκαιρία να στείλει ήδη άλλο ένα μήνυμα στους Δυτικούς συμμάχους με την ευκαιρία της άφιξης του Κινεζικού στόλου και την παρουσία του εκεί."

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
