Η Τουρκία ψάχνει αφορμή για εισβολή στη Συρία

Ο πρωθυπουργός της Τουρκίας Αχμέτ Νταβούτογλου υποστήριξε πως υπεύθυνοι για την βομβιστική επίθεση στην Άγκυρα είναι οι Κούρδοι της Συρίας (ΥPG). Παράλληλα ανακοίνωσε ότι έχουν τεθεί υπό κράτηση εννέα άτομα και έκανε σύνδεση του ΥPG και του PKK - των κούρδων ανταρτών στη Τουρκία - υποστηρίζοντας ότι και οι δυο είναι «τρομοκρατικές οργανώσεις». Ο Τούρκος πρόεδρος Ρετζέπ Ταγίπ Ερντογάν δήλωσε πως η Τουρκία θα προχωρήσει σε αντίποινα «εντός και εκτός συνόρων».

Μια νέα βομβιστική επίθεση με επτά νεκρούς σημειώθηκε την Πέμπτη. Στόχος ήταν ένα στρατιωτικό κονβόι στον αυτοκινητόδρομο που οδηγεί στο Ντιγιαρμπακίρ, τη μεγαλύτερη πόλη της νοτιοανατολικής Τουρκίας, όπου μαίνονται οι επιχειρήσεις του τουρκικού στρατού κατά των Κούρδων της περιοχής. Λίγα λεπτά μετά την στοχοποίηση των Κούρδων της Συρίας ως υπεύθυνους για τη επίθεση στην Άγκυρα, ο εκπρόσωπος της ΥPG τόνισε μιλώντας στο Sky News: “Δεν έχουμε καμία σχέση. Είναι απλά μια δικαιολογία για τις επιθέσεις του τουρκικού στρατού εναντίον των Κούρδων της Βόρειας Συρίας”.

Από τις πρώτες ώρες μετά την επίθεση στην Άγκυρα, κατά την οποία σκοτώθηκαν 28 άτομα, η κυβέρνηση απαγόρευσε τη μετάδοση πληροφοριών εκτός από τις επίσημες ανακοινώσεις. Ωστόσο η ίδια φρόντιζε να διαρρέει σε φιλοκυβερνητικές εφημερίδες πληροφορίες σύμφωνα με τις οποίες ο δράστης ήταν από τη Συρία και σχετίζεται με τους Κούρδους, τόσο της Συρίας όσο και του PKK.

Υπενθυμίζεται, ότι η Τουρκία έχει ξεκινήσει επιθέσεις κατά των Κούρδων της Συρίας, τους οποίους χαρακτηρίζει «τρομοκράτες» και συνεργάτες του PKK. Στην πραγματικότητα αυτό που την ανησυχεί, είναι το ενδεχόμενο δημιουργίας μιας αυτόνομης κουρδικής επαρχίας στα βόρεια της Συρίας. Οι Κούρδοι της Συρίας, με την υποστήριξη των ΗΠΑ και της Ρωσίας, προελαύνουν στα πεδία των μαχών απωθώντας το Ισλαμικό Κράτος από τις βόρειες περιοχές της χώρας και πλέον ελέγχουν το 14% των εδαφών της χώρας. “Πρέπει να διαλέξετε σύμμαχο. Ή με εμάς ή με τους Κούρδους”, ήταν το μήνυμα που έχει στείλει ο Ερντογάν στις ΗΠΑ. Ωστόσο η Ουάσινγκτον απορρίπτει τους ισχυρισμούς του Τούρκου προέδρου περί «τρομοκρατών», επισημαίνοντας πως οι Κούρδοι της Συρίας - όπως και του Ιράκ - αποτελούν έναν σημαντικό σύμμαχο στο πόλεμο κατά των τζιχαντιστών.
