ΕΠΕΙΓΟΝ: Να απελευθερωθεί η 16χρονη Παλαιστίνια ακτιβίστρια Ahed Tamini

Εδώ και πολλά χρόνια, η Ahed Tamini και η οικογένειά της αγωνίζονται ενάντια στους παράνομους ισραηλινούς εποικισμούς. Όμως τώρα, η Ahed αντιμετωπίζει έως και 10 χρόνια φυλάκισης εξαιτίας ενός διαπληκτισμού με Ισραηλινούς στρατιώτες.

Στις 15 Δεκεμβρίου, η Ahed Tamini και η οικογένειά της διαμαρτύρονταν ενάντια στην απόφαση του Trump να αναγνωρίσει την Ιερουσαλήμ ως πρωτεύουσα του Ισραήλ. Κατά τη διάρκεια συμπλοκών, ο Mohammed, 14χρονος ξάδερφος της Ahed, χτυπήθηκε στο κεφάλι από κοντινή απόσταση από μία πλαστική σφαίρα ενός ισραηλινού στρατιώτη και χρειάστηκε να υποβληθεί σε χειρουργική επέμβαση, όπου του αφαιρέθηκε ένα τμήμα του κρανίου του.

Αργότερα την ίδια μέρα, η Ahed ήρθε αντιμέτωπη με Ισραηλινούς στρατιώτες όταν μπήκαν στην αυλή του σπιτιού της. Στο βίντεο που έγινε viral, το άοπλο κορίτσι φαίνεται να χαστουκίζει και να χτυπάει δύο πάνοπλους Ισραηλινούς στρατιώτες. Είναι ξεκάθαρο πως δεν αποτελούσε πραγματική απειλή γι’ αυτούς, αφού μπόρεσαν εύκολα να απωθήσουν τις κινήσεις της. Όμως τώρα, η Ahed κινδυνεύει με 10 χρόνια φυλάκιση - μία ποινή εντελώς δυσανάλογη της πράξης της.

Στις 19 Δεκεμβρίου, Ισραηλινοί στρατιώτες έκαναν έφοδο στο σπίτι της Ahed κατά τη διάρκεια της νύχτας, Τη συνέλαβαν και τώρα αντιμετωπίζει κατηγορίες όπως διακεκριμένη επίθεση, παρακώλυση του έργου των στρατιωτών και υποκίνηση βίας.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της κράτησής της, έπρεπε να υπομείνει επιθετικές μορφές ανάκρισης, ακόμα και κατά τις νυχτερινές ώρες, καθώς και απειλές εναντίον της οικογένειάς της. Η δίκη της ενώπιον του Ισραηλινού στρατιωτικού δικαστηρίου ανηλίκων πρόκειται να γίνει σύντομα και θα βρισκόμαστε εκεί να υπερασπιστούμε τα δικαιώματα της.

Υπογράψτε την έκκλησή μας και ζητήστε από τον Ισραηλινό πρωθυπουργό Benjamin Netanyahu:

- Να απελευθερωθεί άμεσα η 16χρονη ακτιβίστρια Ahed Tamimi, η οποία μπορεί να αντιμετωπίσει έως και 10 χρόνια φυλάκισης.

- Να διασφαλιστεί πως τα παιδιά από την Παλαιστίνη δεν θα υπόκεινται σε κράτηση ή φυλάκιση, εκτός κι αν πρόκειται για περιπτώσεις όπου είναι εμφανώς απαραίτητο και ως έσχατη λύση ανάγκης για το μικρότερο δυνατό χρονικό διάστημα.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique.
