Παγκόσμια κατακραυγή για τις ρατσιστικές δηλώσεις Τραμπ

Πολιτικοί αξιωματούχοι και πολίτες από διάφορες εθνικότητες έχουν καταδικάσει ως «διακρισιακά» και «ρατσιστικά» τα σχόλια του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ μέσω κοινωνικών δικτύων.

Μετά τα επιθετικά λόγια που εκφωνήθηκαν από τον πρόεδρο των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών την προηγούμενη Πέμπτη, με τα οποία χαρακτήρισε ως «σκατοχώρες» το Ελ Σαλβαδόρ και την Αϊτή, έχουν προκληθεί πολυάριθμες αντιδράσεις στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης κατά του Τραμπ.

Ο πρώην πρωθυπουργός της Αϊτής, Λοράν Λαμότ, τόνισε ότι οι δηλώσεις Τραμπ αποτελούν «πρωτοφανή έλλειψη σεβασμού και άγνοια στην πρόσφατη ιστορία των ΗΠΑ». Πρόσθεσε ότι πρόκειται για κάτι «απολύτως απαράδεκτο».

Από την πλευρά του, ο υπουργός Εξωτερικών του Ελ Σαλβαδόρ, Ούγκο Μαρτίνες, μοιράστηκε μια σειρά μηνυμάτων στα οποία ενημέρωσε ότι η κυβέρνησή του εξέδωσε επίσημο ανακοινωθέν προς την κυβέρνηση Τραμπ εκφράζοντας τη λύπη της για τις δηλώσεις, ενώ και ο πρόεδρος της χώρας Σαλβαδόρ Σάντσες έγραψε ότι οι δηλώσεις Τραμπ «χτύπησαν την αξιοπρέπεια των Σαλβαδορένιων».

Στο ανακοινωθέν τονίζεται η συμμετοχή του Σαλβαδορένιων στην ανακατασκευή του Πενταγώνου μετά τις επιθέσεις κατά των Δίδυμων Πύργων και στην ανακατασκευή της πόλης της Νέας Ορλεάνης μετά τον τυφώνα Κατρίνα.

Πολλές αφρικανικές χώρες έχουν καλέσει τους κατά τόπους πρέσβεις των ΗΠΑ για επίπληξη και εξηγήσεις. Στη Νότια Αφρική, ο αναπληρωτής γενικός γραμματέας του κυβερνόντος Εθνικού Αφρικανικού Κογκρέσου δήλωσε: «Δεν είμαστε μια σκατοχώρα· ούτε η Αϊτή είναι ή άλλη χώρα με προβλήματα. Ούτε είναι να πεις ότι οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες δεν έχουν προβλήματα. Υπάρχει ανεργία στις ΗΠΑ, υπάρχουν άνθρωποι που δεν έχουν υγειονομική περίθαλψη».

Οι δηλώσεις Τραμπ χαρακτηρίστηκαν ως «ρατσιστικές» επίσης από τον Οργανισμό Ηνωμένων Εθνών, ενώ και το Βατικανό τις χαρακτήρισε «σκληρές» και προσβλητικές».

Μέσα του Twitter έχει ξεκινήσει καμπάνια με τις ετικέτες #Respectfronhaiti, #RespectfromElSalvador και #TodosSomosSalvadorYHaiti, μέσω των οποίων χρήστες του διαδικτύου από χώρες της Αφρικής, της Κεντρικής και της Λατινικής Αμερικής και από τις ίδιες τις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες ζητούν από τον πρόεδρο να ανακαλέσει.

Την προηγούμενη Πέμπτη, ο αρχηγός της κυβέρνησης των ΗΠΑ αναφέρθηκε στο Ελ Σαλβαδόρ, την Αϊτή και διάφορες χώρες της Αφρικής ως «σκατοχώρες» (shitholes), και πρόσθεσε ότι θα προτιμούσε να δεχτεί στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες περισσότερους μετανάστες από τη Νορβηγία στη θέση αυτών από τις προαναφερόμενες χώρες.
