France officialy enters the neo-Feudal era!

... 'coincidentally' after the Nice attack on Bastille Day - Hollande and his cabinet put the final nail in the coffin of Social-Democracy in Europe

Tragic irony? A few days after Bastille Day, the French government, absolutely determined, finally managed to lead France into the entrance of the dark neo-Feudal era. The French political puppets stayed absolutely dedicated to their mission as planned from the start.

From telesur :

Amid months of nationwide protests, France's National Assembly officially adopted President Francois Hollande's controversial labor reforms, France 24 reported.

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls invoked special constitutional powers on Wednesday to force the contested labor law through parliament in the face of opposition from left-wing lawmakers. Hollande and his Socialist Party claim the law will curb stubbornly high unemployment rates by making it easier for employers to hire and fire workers, and unilaterally set working hours and wages. However left-wing lawmakers and unions say the law is a dramatic setback for France's working class and the historic gains made in the country.

Organized labor and student groups have long contended that the law will only serve to lower the French standard of living, one of the highest in the world. The labor overhaul has already sparked months of protests across the country and a grassroots movement known as Nuit Debout, or Night Standing Up. Since March, nearly 2,000 demonstrators have been arrested in clashes with police.

[...]

While the protests have triggered continuing traffic disruptions, 46 percent of French people support the unions' calls, according to a poll in the Journal du Dimanche. Conversely, Hollande, who has implemented a series of neoliberal economic reforms, is deeply unpopular with the French electorate heading into the 2017 election. The bill aimed at making hiring and firing easier sparked months of street protests and waves of strikes by trade unions.

It's indeed unbelievable how François Hollande and his cabinet are devoted to their masters, the big banks and corporations. A week after Bastille Day through which people are celebrating the end of Monarchy and Feudalism, and all these things conquered by the majority since then, the "Socialists" in France became those who decided to take them back without shame. They exhibited absolute determination to pass the anti-labor bill without even thinking the political cost.

The move marks also the definite end of Social-Democracy in Europe and its complete absorption from the neoliberal doctrine.

What has been described in previous article on the occasion of the French Revolution, that “the big bourgeoisie has "filled the gap" left by the monarchs and feudal lords, has dominated through the economic power, and now, is taking back everything that has been conquered with the "plebs'" blood all these decades. The whole story resembles a big fraud that has been revealed in front of our eyes.”, is indeed taking place in front of our eyes. Hollande and his cabinet are some of the agents of this big bourgeoisie which establish the new Feudalism very fast.

Also, it's quite remarkable how fast the former Socialists acted after the attacks in Nice. As also described: “Just when the state of national emergency was about to end for France at the end of July, Hollande announced a three-month extension following the Bastille Day attacks in Nice. The decision was taken almost immediately, but what's even most impressive, is that the French government instantly recognized this new tragedy as a terrorist attack, without waiting for Daesh or other extremist organization to take responsibility. [...] In any case, the extension of the state of emergency for another three-months comes right when Hollande it needed. The football European championship party was over and there was nothing to distract attention from the anti-labor bill that he wants desperately to pass.

Two days ago, France's National Assembly has voted to extend the state of emergency for six months, just to be sure. The events in Turkey came as a surprising gift and helped Hollande even more, as the global attention turned quickly to Erdogan and his games after the failed coup. The movement in France was literally buried - the mainstream media already tried actually to "hide" it - and the French puppets grabbed the chance and moved very quickly to pass the anti-labor bill.

As the Corporate Europe Observatory revealed: “The current struggle in France over labour law reforms is not just between the Government and trade unions – a European battle is waged. The attacks on social rights stem in no small part from the web of EU-rules dubbed 'economic governance', invented to impose austerity policies on member states.

Well, do you need any other evidence that this is a class war, above all, and that it probably always was?

Capitalism & Genocide - Yanis Varoufakis Speech at the Gaza Tribunal, 23rd October 2025, Istanbul

Yanis Varoufakis   On 23rd October, Yanis Varoufakis testified in front of the Jury of Conscience in the context of the Gaza Tribunal. His speech focused on the economic forces underpinning the genocide of the Palestinian people. In particular, he spoke on the manner in which capitalist dynamics have historically fuelled the white settler colonial project and, more recently, how the accumulation of a new form of capital - which he calls cloud capital - has accelerated, deepened and amplified the economic forces powering and propelling the machinery of genocide.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events. The following is a brief response to Ellsberg’s main points from someone who lives in Nicaragua and has observed the situation directly and intimately: https://grayzoneproject.com/2018/08/15/a-res...

Iran could be the US’s Boer war: a hollow victory that marks the beginning of the end of empire

US leaders anticipated a walkover. Now they’re embroiled in a conflict that could hasten the end of US economic dominance  by Larry Elliott   Nobody gave the Boers a prayer when the war in South Africa began in 1899. It was farmers ranged against the might of the British empire, and the expectation was that resistance would quickly crumble. Eventually, might did prevail. Britain won the Boer war, but it was a hollow victory that took the best part of three years to achieve and came at a high cost. The blow to British prestige – coming at a time when its global hegemony was under threat from fast-growing countries such as the US – was severe. Far from highlighting the extent of Britain’s power, it exposed its limitations. A century and a quarter later, the US risks being embroiled in its equivalent of the Boer war. What should have been a walkover threatens to become a prolonged conflict. The Iranians are using guerrilla tactics, just as the Boers did, with much success. There ...

Stephen Hawking confirms: The problem is Capitalism, not robots!

globinfo freexchange According to world famous physicist Stephen Hawking, the rising use of automated machines may mean the end of human rights – not just jobs. But he’s not talking about robots with artificial intelligence taking over the world, he’s talking about the current capitalist political system and its major players. On Reddit, Hawking said that the economic gap between the rich and the poor will continue to grow as more jobs are automated by machines, and the owners of said machines hoard them to create more wealth for themselves. The insatiable thirst for capitalist accumulation bestowed upon humans by years of lies and terrible economic policy has affected technology in such a way that one of its major goals has become to replace human jobs. If we do not take this warning seriously, we may face unfathomable corporate domination. If we let the same people who buy and sell our political system and resources maintain control of automated technology, the...
