Την κυβέρνηση Σημίτη «δείχνει» ο Βουρλούμης για τη Siemens

Προς την Κυβέρνηση του Κώστα Σημίτη «έδειξε» ο πρώην πρόεδρος και διευθύνων σύμβουλος του ΟΤΕ, Παναγιώτης Βουρλούμης, για την απόφαση σύναψης των προγραμματικών συμβάσεων μεταξύ ΟΤΕ και Siemens.

«Η απόφαση για τις προγραμματικές συμβάσεις ελήφθη από το ΚΥΣΟΙΠ. Σε αυτό συμμετείχε όλη η τότε κυβέρνηση. Για την εκτέλεση των προγραμματικών συμβάσεων ήταν υπεύθυνος ο ΟΤΕ και οι σύμβουλοί του», είπε χαρακτηριστικά ο Παναγιώτης Βουρλούμης.

Σήμερα ήταν η δεύτερη ημέρα κατάθεσής του στη δίκη για το σκάνδαλο Siemens, ενώπιον του Τριμελούς Εφετείου Κακουργημάτων.

Ο Βουρλούμης, ο οποίος σε πολλές ερωτήσεις απαντούσε «δεν γνωρίζω» ή «αυτά συνέβησαν πριν από εμένα» επανέλαβε στο δικαστήριο πως η επίδικη συμφωνία με τη Siemens για την ψηφιοποίηση του ΟΤΕ, υπεγράφη τη δεδομένη στιγμή «γιατί επιτρεπόταν η απευθείας ανάθεση ενώ στη συνέχεια το νομοθετικό πλαίσιο άλλαξε και θα έπρεπε να γίνει διαγωνισμός».

Απαντώντας, ωστόσο, σε ερώτηση, υποστήριξε, σύμφωνα με το Αθηναϊκό Πρακτορείο, πως η συγκεκριμένη συμφωνία «ήταν μεγάλη και οικονομικά και τεχνολογικά για τον ΟΤΕ καθώς η προμήθεια εξοπλισμού καθορίζει την πορεία μιας εταιρείας στο μέλλον» ενώ τόνισε πως εκείνη την περίοδο υπήρχε έντονος ανταγωνισμός γιατί «άνοιγαν οι επικοινωνίες».

Κατά την εξέταση του από συνηγόρους υπεράσπισης ο Βουρλούμης είπε πως ουδέποτε επιχείρησε κάποιος να τον επηρεάσει σε ζητήματα προμηθειών του οργανισμού ενώ συμπλήρωσε πως όταν κάποιος είναι επικεφαλής του ΟΤΕ «μπορεί να τον πάρει ένας υπουργός και να του πει κάτι».

Όπως κατέθεσε όσο είχε τον έλεγχο του ΟΤΕ «είχαμε επαφή με το υπουργείο Μεταφορών για διάφορα θέματα. Κατά τη διάρκεια της θητείας μου, υπουργός Μεταφορών μου ζήτησε να παραιτηθώ και εγώ αρνήθηκα».

Στην συνέχεια ρωτήθηκε από την Έδρα, για το συνολικό τίμημα της σύμβασης το οποίο είναι κατά ένα τρίτο υψηλότερο από αυτό που προσδιορίζεται στις προγραμματικές συμφωνίες.

Για τους Μιχάλη Χριστοφοράκο και Πρόδρομο Μαυρίδη, δύο εκ των θεωρούμενων βασικών κατηγορουμένων στην υπόθεση, ο μάρτυρας απαντώντας σε ερωτήσεις της Έδρας, είπε πως τα δύο στελέχη της Siemens τον είχαν επισκεφθεί δύο ή τρεις φορές στο γραφείο του για τεχνικά ζητήματα. Όπως ανέφερε ο Βουρλούμης «ο κ. Μαυρίδης είχε έρθει για τον δορυφόρο του ΟΤΕ. Θυμάμαι τότε είχαμε μια διαφωνία επ’ αυτού».
