Greece: Monitoring threats in the possibility of national elections

A war of statements has started

A new round of accusations from both sides is taking place in Greece, hours before the first round of the crucial elections for the Presidency, which shows how crucial they are and how the global financial mafia is anxious to get rid of possible national elections with the Leftist party SYRIZA as a potential winner.

After the government representative, Sofia Voultepsi, stated in a mainstream media channel that in case of national elections the country will actually default, the leader of the Leftist party SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras, claimed that the Greek PM is even capable of staging a bank run (!) in order to render his arguments convincing. (https://news.makedonias.gr/en/96786/tsipras-samaras-is-dangerous-for-the-country/) However, SYRIZA MP, Panagiotis Lafazanis, claimed later that Tsipras never made such a statement.

It was Moscovici's turn to launch the propaganda of fear by saying "A potential return of the threat of a Greek eurozone exit would be 'a pity,'" (http://www.ekathimerini.com/4dcgi/_w_articles_wsite1_1_15/12/2014_545451) and the governor of the Bank of Greece, Yannis Stournaras, joined the European Economic Affairs Commissioner by saying that there is a risk of “irreparable damage to the Greek economy” from ongoing political uncertainty and the resulting reduction of liquidity in the market. Latest threat - apparently to the Greek people - by Berlin through the German newspaper Die Welt under the title "The election that could throw into chaos the whole of Europe." Executives of the German Finance Ministry speak anonymously in the article and they are clear as to the attitude to be followed in case Alexis Tsipras and SYRIZA take power. "If Tsipras comes to power and implements his promises Greece will not receive any more money from the European Union". Add to all these the usual statements by banks and rating agencies demanding "political stability" and you have the whole picture. All the next potential threats will be recorded to keep you informed!
