“Αποκλειστικές πληροφορίες του Newsbomb.gr αναφέρουν, πως οι αρχηγοί των κομμάτων της αντιπολίτευσης Αντ. Σαμαράς, Β. Βενιζέλος και Στ. Θεοδωράκης έχουν συζητήσει μεταξύ τους το πώς θα εντείνουν τις πιέσεις προς την κυβέρνηση Τσίπρα και θα οξύνουν την αντιπολίτευση. Σύμφωνα με τις ίδιες πληροφορίες, μεταξύ άλλων έχουν συζητήσει και το αίτημα για σύγκληση του Συμβουλίου Πολιτικών Αρχηγών υπό τον Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας μετά το Πάσχα και μάλλον πριν τη νέα συμφωνία της κυβέρνησης με τους εταίρους δανειστές.”

“Οι σχετικές συζητήσεις σε αυτό το 'τρίγωνο' έχουν γίνει μεταξύ Σαμαρά και Βενιζέλου, όπου οι δυο τους κατ’ αρχήν συμφώνησαν να προχωρήσουν σε μια τέτοια πρωτοβουλία. Στη συνέχεια τη σκυτάλη πήρε ο Βενιζέλος, ο οποίος σε τηλεφωνική επικοινωνία που είχε με τον Στ. Θεοδωράκη τον ενημέρωσε σχετικά. Και ο αρχηγός του Ποταμιού, κατά τις ίδιες πληροφορίες, συμφώνησε και απλά παρατήρησε, ότι η σχετική πρωτοβουλία υα πρέπει να αναληφθεί σε περίοδο που η κυβέρνηση θα είναι «στριμωγμένη» απ’ τους δανειστές και θα παρατηρείται αδιέξοδο στις διαπραγματεύσεις με τους δανειστές.”

“Εδώ θα πρέπει να υπενθυμίσουμε, ότι τη σύγκληση του Συμβουλίου μπορούν μεν να τη ζητήσουν οι τρείς ή ακόμα κι ένας απ’ αυτούς, αλλά –σύμφωνα με το Σύνταγμα- για να την αποδεχτεί ο Πρόεδρος της Δημοκρατίας θα πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να συμφωνήσει ο πρωθυπουργός, διαφορετικά είναι υποχρεωμένος να την απορρίψει. Και αυτό ακριβώς ο Πρόεδρος το επεσήμανε σε δημοσιογράφους την ημέρα που ανέλαβε τα καθήκοντά του, θέλοντας προφανώς να προκαταλάβει και ερωτήσεις και σχετική φιλολογία…”

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that.
