Η Ισλανδία ανακτά την πλήρη κυριαρχία της οικονομίας της

Νέο πλήγμα κατά των τραπεζιτών κερδοσκόπων από τη δεξιά κυβέρνηση της Ισλανδίας! Επίσημη έκθεση προετοιμάζει το έδαφος για απαγόρευση της έμμεσης «δημιουργίας» ανύπαρκτου χρήματος από τις ισλανδικές τράπεζες, όταν αυτές δανείζουν χρήματα που δεν έχουν. «Λείψανο του παρελθόντος θα αποτελέσει το χρήμα που δημιουργείται από «αέρα κοπανιστό» - αυτό το διαβολικό μυστικό που βρίσκεται στην καρδιά της έμμεσης έκδοσης τραπεζικού χρήματος» έγραφαν την περασμένη Παρασκευή στο κύριο άρθρο τους οι «Φαϊνάνσιαλ Τάιμς» του Λονδίνου, αναφερόμενοι στο θέμα.

Εχοντας αποφασίσει τελικά να κρατήσει ως νόμισμα την ισλανδική κορόνα, αφού προηγουμένως η χώρα ταλαντεύτηκε μήπως η σωτηρία βρίσκεται στην ένταξη στο ευρώ, η κυβέρνηση του Ρέικιαβικ παίρνει με συνέπεια τις αποφάσεις της. «Μετά το θεαματικό σπάσιμο της φούσκας (σ.σ. της οικονομίας και του τραπεζικού της συστήματος), η Ισλανδία επιθυμεί να μελετήσει οποιαδήποτε δράση που θα εμπόδιζε την επανάληψη της κατάρρευσης» γράφει η αγγλική εφημερίδα. «Οι Ισλανδοί μπορεί απλώς να ξανακερδίσουν κάποιον έλεγχο στην οικονομική τους μοίρα» ρίχνοντας βαρύ τον πέλεκυ σε αυτή την τραπεζική δραστηριότητα, αναγκάζονται να ομολογήσουν ως και οι «Φαϊνάνσιαλ Τάιμς». Αυτή η πολιτική «μπορεί να υποχρεώσει τις τράπεζες και τους μετόχους τους να σκέφτονται περισσότερο τα δάνεια που χορηγούν» καθώς υποστηρικτές αυτής της πολιτικής λένε ότι κατ' αυτόν τον τρόπο «αλλάζουν πορεία τα δάνεια και κατευθύνονται προς τις αξιόλογες επιχειρηματικές επενδύσεις και όχι προς την ανούσια κερδοσκοπία» γράφει η μεγαλύτερη οικονομική εφημερίδα της Ευρώπης.

Το 2008, όταν κατέρρευσαν οι τρεις τράπεζες της Ισλανδίας που συνολικά είχαν κύκλο εργασιών στο εξωτερικό... έντεκα (!!!) φορές το ΑΕΠ της χώρας, στην απελπισία τους, οι Ισλανδοί σκέφθηκαν να μπουν στην ΕΕ και στο ευρώ για να σωθούν, καθώς το εθνικό νόμισμα είχε χάσει το 50% της αξίας του. Εχοντας ανατρέψει την τότε δεξιά κυβέρνηση και έχοντας φέρει στην εξουσία τους σοσιαλδημοκράτες, τους οικολόγους και τους αριστερούς, το 2009 η Ισλανδία υπέβαλε αίτηση ένταξης στην ΕΕ. Στην Ευρωζώνη θα έμπαινε αμέσως γιατί έτσι κι αλλιώς 300.000 άνθρωποι είναι όλος κι όλος ο πληθυσμός της Ισλανδίας.

Γρήγορα όμως διαπίστωσαν ότι η χώρα τους αναπτυσσόταν με ταχύτερους και σταθερότερους ρυθμούς από ό,τι η ΕΕ - καμία σύγκριση! «Και η ελληνική κρίση δρα σήμερα απωθητικά» έγραφε την περασμένη εβδομάδα η γαλλική εφημερίδα «Λε Μοντ». Μέχρι την Ισλανδία έφτασε η χάρη μας! Είναι προφανές ότι ο τρόπος που συμπεριφέρεται η Γερμανία εναντίον της Ελλάδας καθιστά την ΕΕ αποκρουστική απέναντι σε μικρούς λαούς, ιδίως αν οι χώρες τους έχουν χτυπηθεί κι αυτές από την κρίση.

«Σε αυτό προστίθεται το ευαίσθητο θέμα των ποσοστώσεων αλιείας, στο οποίο η Ισλανδία δεν θέλει να χάσει το πάνω χέρι» γράφει η «Μοντ». «Το να εκχωρήσουμε αυτή την αρμοδιότητα στις Βρυξέλλες, δεν είναι προς το συμφέρον μας» δηλώνει στη γαλλική εφημερίδα ο Ισλανδός πρόεδρος Ολαφουρ Ράγκναρ Γκρίμσον. Γι' αυτό και η κυβέρνηση του Ρέικιαβικ στις 12 Μαρτίου, τον περασμένο μήνα, δήλωσε ότι δεν θέλει πλέον να είναι χώρα υποψήφια προς ένταξη στην ΕΕ και γι' αυτό διακόπτει τις ενταξιακές συνομιλίες.

«Εφτυσαν» δηλαδή την ΕΕ οι Ισλανδοί! Το φυσούν και δεν κρυώνει οι Γερμανοί. Να αρνηθεί να υπαχθεί υπό το Βερολίνο μια χώρα σαν την Ισλανδία, η οποία έχει πληθυσμό κάπου... 250 (!!!) φορές μικρότερο από της Γερμανίας, συνιστά βαρύτατη προσβολή για τους επικυρίαρχους της Ευρώπης - πόσω μάλλον που και οι Βίκινγκ συγγενές προς τους Γερμανούς φύλο είναι! «Χυλόπιτα στην ΕΕ από την Ισλανδία» ήταν ο τίτλος με τον οποίο η «Φράνκφουρτερ Αλγκεμάινε», η εφημερίδα της γερμανικής ελίτ, υποδέχτηκε την ισλανδική ανακοίνωση τον περασμένο μήνα. «Τόσο εξευτελιστική χυλόπιτα ποτέ και από κανέναν δεν είχε φάει η ΕΕ όσο αυτή από τον Γκούναρ Μπράγκι Σβέινσον» τον υπουργό Εξωτερικών της Ισλανδίας, άρχιζε το ρεπορτάζ της γερμανικής εφημερίδας.

Με την ευθύτητα που διακρίνει τους Γερμανούς, έμπαινε χωρίς περιστροφές στην ουσία του θέματος: «Πρόκειται για γεγονός χωρίς προηγούμενο! Συνήθως η ΕΕ αξιολογεί αν μια χώρα είναι ώριμη για να γίνει δεκτή στον κύκλο των μελών της... Η Ισλανδία όμως αναποδογύρισε τη σούβλα. Αν και βρίσκεται σε οικονομικές δυσκολίες και παρόλα αυτά θα γινόταν δεκτή με ανοιχτές αγκάλες, αυτή είπε: Ευρώπη; Οχι, ευχαριστώ».

Δεν το χωράει ο νους των Γερμανών ότι ο υπουργός των Εξωτερικών της Ισλανδίας ανακοίνωσε στον προεδρεύοντα αυτό το εξάμηνο στην ΕΕ υπουργό Εξωτερικών της Λετονίας πως «η κυβέρνησή του κατέληξε στο συμπέρασμα ότι η Ισλανδία δεν είναι πλέον χώρα υποψήφια προς ένταξη... και ότι οι ενταξιακές συνομιλίες με την ΕΕ που άρχισαν πριν από πέντε χρόνια θεωρούνται τελειωμένες» γράφει εμβρόντητη η «Φράνκφουρτερ Αλγκεμάινε».

Είναι δύσκολο στον σημερινό, πολύπλοκο και πολυπολικό κόσμο μια χώρα να είναι εντελώς ανεξάρτητη στον οικονομικό τομέα, πόσο μάλλον μια μικρή χώρα όπως η Ισλανδία. Οι Ισλανδοί μάλλον διαλέγουν στρατόπεδο: “Εκτός από την λύση των BRICS, η Ελλάδα μπορεί να στραφεί στην νεοσυσταθείσα Ασιατική Τράπεζα Επενδύσεων και Υποδομών (ΑΙΙΒ), υπό Κινεζικό έλεγχο, καθώς ήδη πολλές χώρες, ακόμα και από τον σκληρό πυρήνα του Δυτικού μπλοκ, έχουν κάνει αίτηση για ένταξη. A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that.
