WikiLeaks: Πληροφοριοδότης των ΗΠΑ ο νέος πρόεδρος της Βραζιλίας

Είναι ένας από τους ενορχηστρωτές του «πραξικοπήματος» που επιχειρείται για την ανατροπή της προέδρου Ντίλμα Ρούσεφ στη Βραζιλία, αλλά όχι μόνο αυτό. Σύμφωνα με τα WikiLeaks έχει υπάρξει και μυστικός πληροφοριοδότης των ΗΠΑ. Ο λόγος για τον νέο μεταβατικό πρόεδρο της χώρας, τον επικεφαλής του Δημοκρατικού Κινήματος της Βραζιλίας (PMDB), Μισέλ Τέμερ.

Νέες αναταράξεις προκαλεί η αποκάλυψη της ιστοσελίδας ότι ο νέος πρόεδρος της Βραζιλίας, Μισέλ Τέμερ υπήρξε στο παρελθόν πληροφοριοδότης των ΗΠΑ και είχε μεταφέρει «ευαίσθητες» πληροφορίες σε Αμερικανούς διπλωμάτες πριν από τις εθνικές εκλογές του 2006.

Τα τηλεγραφήματα που αναρτήθηκαν στον διαδικτυακό τόπο των Wikileaks έχουν τη σήμανση «ευαίσθητα αλλά όχι διαβαθμισμένα» και περιλαμβάνουν περιλήψεις συνομιλιών που είχε ο Τέμερ, ομοσπονδιακός βουλευτής την περίοδο εκείνη, με Αμερικανούς αξιωματούχους.

Σχολιάζοντας την πολιτική κατάσταση λίγο πριν τις κάλπες, ο νέος πρόεδρος της Βραζιλίας έλεγε στους Αμερικανούς αξιωματούχους ότι «η εκλογή Λουλά γέννησε την ελπίδα στον βραζιλιάνικο λαό, αλλά οι επιδόσεις του στη διακυβέρνηση έχουν υπάρξει απογοητευτικές». Του ασκούσε κριτική επίσης για το γεγονός ότι προσπαθούσε να στήσει ένα δίχτυ κοινωνικής προστασίας και ότι δεν εστίαζε στην οικονομική ανάπτυξη. Στις συζητήσεις που είχε δεν παρέλειψε να τονίσει τον προσανατολισμό του κόμματος του στην ανάπτυξη αλλά και να δώσει υποσχέσεις για τη συμφωνία FTAA, για μια ζώνη ελεύθερου εμπορίου στην αμερικανική ήπειρο, με εξαίρεση την Κούβα.
