Η φιλελεύθερη χυδαιότητα σε έναν τίτλο των New York Times

Όταν αθώοι πολίτες πέφτουν θύματα μιας τρομοκρατικής επίθεσης το φιλελεύθερο savoir faire επιβάλλει να ταυτίζεις το κράτος στο οποίο έγινε η επίθεση με τα θύματα.

Ο καλός φιλελεύθερος αλλάζει αμέσως το avatar στο twitter του με τη σημαία της χώρας όπου σημειώθηκε η επίθεση, γράφει παντού je suis χ (όπου χ η αναφορά στα θύματα) και αν η χώρα είναι αρκούντως δυτική και έχει υψηλή κατάταξη στο κατά κεφαλήν ΑΕΠ μπορεί να ανάψει και κανένα ρεσό για τα θύματα.

Σε αυτή τη φάση εάν κάποιοι υποστηρίξουν ότι η χώρα όπου σημειώθηκε η επίθεση μπορεί στο παρελθόν να έχει χρηματοδοτήσει ή εξοπλίσει αντίστοιχες ομάδες τρομοκρατών (όπως αποδεδειγμένα έχει συμβεί στην περίπτωση των ΗΠΑ, της Γαλλίας και της Βρετανίας) οι φιλελεύθεροι τους χαρακτηρίζουν εχθρούς της ανθρωπότητας. Ενίοτε μάλιστα τους εύχονται να πεθάνουν αυτοί και οι συγγενείς τους σε επόμενη επίθεση.

Όλοι αυτοί οι «πολίτες του κόσμου» αίφνης ταυτίζουν τα θύματα με τις κυβερνήσεις και τους στρατούς τους. Μετατρέπονται δηλαδή στα πιο σκληρά εθνίκια που μπορεί να φανταστεί κανείς.

Τι γίνεται όμως όταν ο εκλεγμένος πρόεδρος της μοναδικής υπερδύναμης κάνει ένα ανάλογο σχόλιο; Ο πρόεδρος Τραμπ, αφού διαχώρισε τους Ιρανούς πολίτες από τo ιρανικό κράτος σημείωσε ότι «χώρες που ενισχύουν την τρομοκρατία κινδυνεύουν να πέσουν θύματα του κακού που προωθούν».

Και για μια φορά στη ζωή του έχει κάποιο δίκιο. Όχι όμως για το Ιράν. Αυτή είναι η ιστορία των ΗΠΑ, που στήριζαν τους Μουτζαχεντίν και γέννησαν τον Οσάμα Μπιν Λάντεν. Αυτή είναι η ιστορία της Τουρκίας που ενίσχυε εξτρεμιστές ισλαμιστές είτε σαν ανάχωμα στους Κούρδους και την Αριστερά ή για να ανατρέψει τον Άσαντ στη Συρία. Αυτή είναι η ιστορία της Γαλλίας που εκπαίδευε εξτρεμιστές για την ανατροπή του Καντάφι στη Λιβύη. Αυτή είναι και η ιστορία της Βρετανίας που συνεργάζεται με το κράτος – τρομοκράτη της Σαουδικής Αραβίας και άφηνε πολίτες της να μάχονται στη Λιβύη.

Κανένας σοβαρός φιλελεύθερος βέβαια (από αυτούς που ΔΕΝ άναψαν ούτε ένα ρεσο για τα θύματα στο Ιράν) δεν θα ευχηθεί τώρα να πεθάνει ο Τραμπ και η οικογένειά του, για το σχόλιο που έκανε. Γιατί κατά βάθος αυτή είναι η γραμμή της φιλελεύθερης Δύσης όταν τα θύματα ανήκουν στον αραβικό και τον ισλαμικό κόσμο.

Ας δούμε ένα χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα από τίτλο των New York Times, όπως τον αποκρυπτογραφεί πολιτικά και γεωπολιτικά ο εξαιρετικός αναλυτής Μπεν Νόρτον.

Ο τίτλος γράφει «Το Ιράν επιτίθεται (χρησιμοποιείται η ιδιαίτερα βαριά λέξη assails που σημαίνει και προσβάλλει) στη Σαουδική Αραβία ύστερα από διπλό τρομοκρατικό χτύπημα».

Το κείμενο αναφέρεται στο πολιτικό κατεστημένο του Ιράν το οποίο λιγότερο ή περισσότερο ανοιχτά έδειξε τη Σαουδική Αραβία σαν υπεύθυνη της επίθεσης.

Προς στιγμήν όμως χάνεις την αίσθηση ποιος ήταν το θύμα της επίθεσης. Το Ιράν (για το οποίο ο Τραμπ δημιούργησε ειδική ομάδα στη CIA με στόχο την ανατροπή της δημοκρατικά εκλεγμένης κυβέρνησης) ή η Σαουδική Αραβία (η οποία αγοράζει από τις ΗΠΑ οπλικά συστήματα δεκάδων δισεκατομμυρίων δολαρίων);

Επίσης που σημειώθηκαν οι επιθέσεις; Στον τίτλο των New York Times δεν είναι σαφές;

Υπερβολές θα πει κάποιος. Όλοι ξέρουν που έγινε η επίθεση και ποιος την πραγματοποίησε.

Το πιστεύετε αλήθεια; Στη χώρα που έβγαλε πρόεδρο τον Ντόναλντ Τραμπ και όπου η πλειονότητα δεν μπορεί να εντοπίσει τη Βόρεια Κορέα στον παγκόσμιο χάρτη;

Πόσο αθώοι είστε;
