Την ώρα που ο Μητσοτάκης σχεδιάζει ασφαλιστικό Πινοσέτ, ο πιο δημοφιλής υποψήφιος για την Αμερικανική προεδρία κυρήσσει πόλεμο στις ασφαλιστικές

Σοκ και δέος είχαν προκαλέσει οι δηλώσεις Καραγκούνη το Σεπτέμβριο του 18 περί "ασφαλιστικού Πινοσέτ" προλειαίνοντας το έδαφος για τους σχεδιασμούς μιας πιθανής κυβέρνησης Μητσοτάκη. 

Λίγο πριν τις εκλογές της 7ης Ιουλίου, η ΝΔ έδωσε μια πρόγευση του τι πρόκειται να επακολουθήσει στον τομέα της ασφάλισης. Ορισμένα γαλάζια στελέχη προσπάθησαν να διασκεδάσουν τις εντυπώσεις δηλώνοντας ότι δεν πρόκειται να ιδιωτικοποιηθεί ο ασφαλιστικός κλάδος και υπονοώντας (ως συνήθως) ότι τέτοιες υπερβολές οφείλονται στην "Αριστερή προπαγάνδα".

Όμως η απόλυτη αφοσίωση του σκληρού πυρήνα της γαλάζιας παράταξης στη νεοφιλελεύθερη ιδεολογία είναι κάτι παραπάνω από φανερή. Είναι σχεδόν βέβαιο ότι νεοφιλελεύθεροι 'τζιχαντιστές' της δεξιάς ονειρεύονται πλήρη ιδιωτικοποίηση υγείας, ασφάλισης, παιδείας, ως πρώτο πιάτο στο μενού του νεοφιλελεύθερου 'οδοστρωτήρα'.

Οι μιντιακοί γκεμπελίσκοι και τα δεξιά τρολ κραυγάζουν εναντίον της Αριστερής "ιδεοληψίας" που δήθεν δεν αφήνει τη χώρα να πάει μπροστά, υποστηρίζοντας ότι τα αποτυχημένα μοντέλα τύπου ΔΝΤ, Θάτσερ και Πινοσέτ είναι το "νέο" που εφαρμόζουν όλες οι σύγχρονες οικονομίες. Όμως η πραγματικότητα είναι εντελώς διαφορετική. Και στην ουσία, είναι όλος αυτός ο τερατώδης μηχανισμός που διακατέχεται από μια απολύτως άκαμπτη ιδεοληψία, αφού υποστηρίζει τον καταστροφικό νεοφιλελευθερισμό με έναν ιερό φανατισμό.

Η πραγματικότητα λοιπόν δείχνει ότι στην κατεξοχήν πατρίδα του νεοφιλελευθερισμού, τις ΗΠΑ, το μοντέλο της ιδιωτικής υγείας και ασφάλισης έχει αποτύχει με πάταγο. Οι αρνητικές συνέπειες στην καθημερινή ζωή του μέσου Αμερικανού είναι τόσο έντονες, που η Αμερικανική κοινωνία φαίνεται να κάνει στροφή 360 μοιρών, απορρίπτοντας το υπάρχον καθεστώς και υποστηρίζοντας δημόσια υγεία και ασφάλιση. 

Είναι χαρακτηριστικό ότι ένας από τους πιο δημοφιλείς υποψηφίους (αν όχι ο πιο δημοφιλής) για την Αμερικανική προεδρία του 2020, ο Μπέρνι Σάντερς, οφείλει τη μεγάλη λαϊκή αποδοχή (και ιδιαίτερα από την Αμερικανική νεολαία), στη σταθερή του προγραμματική θέση για ένα δημόσιο σύστημα υγείας που δεν θα αφήνει απ'έξω κανέναν Αμερικανό πολίτη.

Δηλαδή, ο πιο δημοφιλής πολιτικός αυτή τη στιγμή στην Αμερική, που μάλιστα υποστηρίζει ανοιχτά τον Δημοκρατικό Σοσιαλισμό στις ομιλίες του, οφείλει τη δημοτικότητά του στο εντελώς αντίθετο από αυτό που πρεσβεύει και σχεδιάζει η Μητσοτακική δεξιά στην Ελλάδα.

Και όχι μόνο αυτό. Πολλά γκάλοπ δείχνουν ότι ακόμα και οι πιο συντηρητικοί Ρεπουμπλικάνοι και οπαδοί του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ υποστηρίζουν το πρόγραμμα "Medicare for All" του Σάντερς για τον τομέα της υγείας, αλλά και άλλες Σοσιαλιστικές πολιτικές!

Οι Αμερικανοί έχουν βιώσει στο πετσί τους, ειδικά μετά την μεγάλη κρίση του 2008, τις ολέθριες επιπτώσεις του πλήρως ιδιωτικοποιημένου μοντέλου, καθώς εκατομμύρια από αυτούς στερούνται πλήρους πρόσβασης στο σύστημα υγείας και ασφάλισης, αφού αδυνατούν να αντεπεξέλθουν οικονομικά.

Από τη άλλη, το ιδιαίτερα ισχυρό λόμπι των ιδιωτικών νοσηλευτικών ιδρυμάτων, φαρμακοβιομηχανιών και ασφαλιστικών εταιριών, θησαυρίζει σε βάρος όσων μπορούν ακόμα να πληρώνουν. Θησαυρίζει όμως και από τις κατά συρροήν φοροαπαλλαγές που απολαμβάνει, καθώς έχει φροντίσει από πριν να εξαγοράσει τους περισσότερους πολιτικούς. 

Όμως ο Μπέρνι Σάντερς, ο οποίος είναι από τους λίγους πολιτικούς που δεν έχει εξαγοραστεί από τα λόμπι, κήρυξε πόλεμο και στις ιδιωτικές ασφαλιστικές εταιρίες. Σε πρόσφατο μήνυμά του στο Twitter, έγραψε: "Εάν υποστηρίζετε το Medicare for All, πρέπει να είστε πρόθυμοι να σταματήσετε την απληστία των ασφαλιστικών και φαρμακευτικών βιομηχανιών. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι πρέπει να αναμορφωθεί το δυσλειτουργικό μας σύστημα με τον τερματισμό της χρήσης της ιδιωτικής ασφάλισης υγείας, εκτός από την κάλυψη μη βασικών αναγκών όπως οι πλαστικές χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις."


Την ώρα λοιπόν που ακόμα και οι ίδιοι οι Αμερικανοί επαναφέρουν στο τραπέζι το μοντέλο του δημόσιου συστήματος υγείας και ασφάλισης, οι Έλληνες ψηφοφόροι ετοιμάζονται να κάνουν το αντίθετο. Να δώσουν δηλαδή την εξουσία στη νεοφιλελεύθερη δεξιά προκειμένου να αποτελειώσει ότι απέμεινε όρθιο στη δημόσια υγεία και ασφάλιση και να στρώσει το χαλί στα ιδιωτικά συμφέροντα.

Και όλα αυτά, παρόλο που η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία αυτών των ψηφοφόρων ένιωσε να συντρίβεται κυριολεκτικά από την επέλαση του νεοφιλελεύθερου ολετήρα και τις αντίστοιχες πολιτικές που επέβαλαν οι Τρόικες από το ξέσπασμα της κρίσης και έπειτα. Ένα είναι σίγουρο: ότι οι ιστορικοί του μέλλοντος θα δυσκολευτούν πολύ να ερμηνεύσουν την αυτοκαταστροφική αυτή τάση μιας ολόκληρης κοινωνίας.
