Έπεσαν (και οι τελευταίες) μάσκες της ΝΔ για τις Πρέσπες

Πριν από έξι μήνες, στις 25 Ιανουαρίου, ο τότε βουλευτής Καβάλας της ΝΔ Νίκος Παναγιωτόπουλος δήλωνε από το βήμα της Βουλής: «Ως Έλληνας Μακεδόνας, και υπερήφανος γι’ αυτό, οφείλω να δηλώσω ότι αυτή η συμφωνία προσβάλει την εθνική μου συνείδηση». Έλεγε ακόμη ότι «οι βουλευτές που προτίθενται να ψηφίσουν σήμερα υπέρ, δίνουν λευκή επιταγή στα Σκόπια. Παραχωρούν όνομα, εθνική ταυτότητα και γλώσσα έναντι ασαφών, και δίχως οριστική απόδειξη, ανταλλαγμάτων». 

Χθες, ο βουλευτής Καβάλας αλλά και υπουργός Άμυνας πλέον Νίκος Παναγιωτόπουλος δήλωσε από το συνέδριο του Economist για την - ίδια πάντοτε - συμφωνία των Πρεσπών: «Δεν αμφισβητώ την πρόθεση κανενός ότι αυτή η Συμφωνία επιτεύχθηκε για καλό σκοπό, για να ενισχύσει τη σταθερότητα στην περιοχή, για να ενισχύσει τις γεωπολιτικές σταθερές της περιοχής, έτσι ώστε να μην υπάρξουν ανατροπές… Αν αυτή εφαρμοστεί με απαρέγκλιτη τήρηση όλων των ουσιωδών όρων της, τότε νομίζω ότι θα μπορούμε να πάμε σε ένα καλύτερο μέλλον».

Επίσης από το συνέδριο του Economist, ο αναπληρωτής υπουργός Εξωτερικών Μιλτιάδης Βαρβιτσιώτης, παρόντος του υπουργού Εξωτερικών της Βόρειας Μακεδονίας Νικολά Ντιμιτρόφ δήλωσε ότι «τα πολιτικά ζητήματα που έχουμε μεταξύ μας έχουν επιλυθεί σε μεγάλο βαθμό με τη συμφωνία των Πρεσπών, κι αυτό μας αφήνει χώρο για να κάνουμε πολλά περισσότερα στο οικονομικό πεδίο».

Ήταν ο ίδιος ο κ. Βαρβιτσιώτης, ο οποίος επίσης τον περασμένο Γενάρη έδινε ραντεβού στα συλλαλητήρια για το μακεδονικό και απευθυνόμενος προς την τότε κυβέρνηση Τσίπρα δήλωνε: «Θα βρεθούμε με τους πολίτες που ειρηνικά μεθαύριο θα διαδηλώσουν για τη Μακεδονία. Δεν θα δεχτούμε το εθνικό μας φρόνημα εσείς να το κάνετε και να το ονομάσετε φασισμό».

Κατά την προσφιλή φράση της ΝΔ θα μπορούσε να είναι ο ορισμός της «κωλοτούμπας», μόλις 10 ημέρες μετά τις εκλογές. Οι, μέχρι χθες, μακεδονομάχοι ανακάλυψαν αίφνης τη φωτεινή πλευρά μιας «συμφωνίας προδοτών». Κι εκείνοι που έκαναν προεκλογική μπροσούρα την πατριδοκαπηλεία και τον εθνικό διχασμό, απογειώνουν τώρα την πολιτική υποκρισία βλέποντας «καλύτερο μέλλον» μέσα από την «παράδοση της Μακεδονίας» και το… άγος των «εθνομηδενιστών του Τσίπρα».

Κατά την πιο καλοπροαίρετη – όσο και κυνική – προσέγγιση, μπορεί να είναι απλώς η προσγείωση στον κυβερνητικό ρεαλισμό. Η κυβερνώσα ΝΔ όχι απλώς δεν συζητά την ακύρωση και δεν αμφισβητεί την «κατάπτυστη» συμφωνία, αλλά σκοπεύει να την τηρήσει κατά γράμμα και να αντλήσει τα μέγιστα δυνατά οφέλη από την εφαρμογή της. Κάπως έτσι, άλλωστε, το έθεσε και ο νέος Γενικός Γραμματέας Αθλητισμού, Γιώργος Μαυρωτάς, ο οποίος είχε υπερψηφίσει και υπερασπιστεί τη συμφωνία ως βουλευτής του Ποταμιού.

«Το κλίμα στη ΝΔ (για τη συμφωνία των Πρεσπών) είναι τώρα διαφορετικό. Νομίζω ότι θα κινηθεί σε πλαίσιο για το πώς θα αποκομίσουμε τα περισσότερα οφέλη από τη συμφωνία και όχι να την καταργήσουμε», είπε ο Γιώργος Μαυρωτάς ερωτώμενος για τη συμμετοχή του στην κυβέρνηση και την απόσταση που τον χωρίζει από τις θέσεις της στο μακεδονικό.

Παρεμπιπτόντως εδώ, μάλλον κανείς δεν είχε φροντίσει να πληροφορήσει για τις δηλώσεις Μαυρωτά τον έτερο βουλευτή της ΝΔ, Κώστα Γκιουλέκα, ο οποίος λίγη ώρα αργότερα δήλωνε, από τηλεοράσεως πως «αφού ο κ. Μαυρωτάς έρχεται στη ΝΔ, σημαίνει ότι υιοθετεί και τη θέση της ΝΔ εναντίον της Συμφωνίας των Πρεσπών».

Μικρό το κακό – ούτως ή άλλως η κυβέρνηση της ΝΔ και ο ίδιος ο Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης θα βρίσκουν συνεχώς μπροστά τους στο εξής το τίμημα της προεκλογικής προπαγάνδας για το μακεδονικό. Και θα χρειαστεί να καταναλώσουν μεγάλο πολιτικό κεφάλαιο για να αφομοιώσει την «κωλοτούμπα» το εθνικιστικό συνονθύλευμα που έχουν συγκεντρώσει στις τάξεις τους – τόσο εκτός, όσο και εντός Βουλής.

Παραμένει άγνωστο εάν θα ζητήσουν και τη συγγνώμη που αξίωσε χθες ο Νίκος Κοτζιάς. Προς το παρόν, επιβεβαιώνουν απλώς τον Σταύρο Θεοδωράκη που, από τον περασμένο Απρίλιο, δήλωνε ότι «πολλοί από αυτούς που βγαίνουν τώρα στις πλατείες και φωνάζουν για τις Πρέσπες μας έλεγαν μην τολμήσετε να μην ψηφίσετε τη συμφωνία»…
