Το βαθύτερο νόημα του να κάνεις κολοτούμπες σε συνέδριο του Economist

του system failure

Διαδοχικά κύματα σοκ  έπληξαν τις τελευταίες μέρες τους ψηφοφόρους που βάλθηκαν να τιμωρήσουν τον 'προδότη' Τσίπρα για τη συμφωνία των Πρεσπών, επιλέγοντας στις πρόσφατες βουλευτικές εκλογές τη χειρότερη δεξιά της μεταπολίτευσης και μάλιστα αυτοδύναμη. 

Μετά την επιλογή Μαυρωτά για τη θέση του Γενικού Γραμματέα Αθλητισμού, ο οποίος είχε υπερψηφίσει και υπερασπιστεί τη συμφωνία ως βουλευτής του Ποταμιού, ήρθαν άλλα δύο απανωτά χτυπήματα από τις δηλώσεις Παναγιωτόπουλου και Βαρβιτσιώτη. 

Δεν είναι όμως μόνο η κραυγαλέα υποκρισία και αναδίπλωση των γαλάζιων στελεχών όσον αφορά τη συμφωνία. Είναι και το γεγονός ότι οι επικών διαστάσεων 'κολοτούμπες' Παναγιωτόπουλου και Βαρβιτσιώτη, έγιναν σε συνέδριο του Economist. 

Και έχει αυτό τόσο μεγάλη σημασία; Θα μπορούσε να αναρωτηθεί κανείς. Ουσιαστική, ίσως όχι και τόσο. Αλλά συμβολική, σίγουρα ναι.  

Η συμπεριφορά Παναγιωτόπουλου-Βαρβιτσιώτη αποτελεί τυπικό χαρακτηριστικό του πολιτικού αμοραλισμού που επικρατεί κατά κράτος έναντι κάθε άλλου τύπου πολιτικής σκέψης και συμπεριφοράς στην κυρίαρχη νεοφιλελεύθερη ιδεολογία.

Έτσι, οι πολιτικοί χαμαιλέοντες της πάλαι ποτέ λαϊκής δεξιάς δεν έχουν κανένα πρόβλημα να εμφανίζονται σε πατριωτικά συλλαλητήρια, παριστάνοντας τους κλειδοκράτορες των υψηλών ιδανικών που απειλούνται από τον ολετήρα της παγκοσμιοποίησης. Εκμεταλλεύονται, δηλαδή, το γεγονός ότι υπάρχουν ακόμα ψηφοφόροι, που πιστεύουν στα σοβαρά ότι η νεοφιλελεύθερη δεξιά αποτελεί την ασπίδα προστασίας της πατρίδας απέναντι στους Αριστερούς 'προδότες' διεθνιστές.

Όταν όμως τα γαλάζια στελέχη βρεθούν σε ένα φόρουμ στο οποίο πρέπει να δώσουν τα διαπιστευτήριά τους στη διεθνή ολιγαρχία, βάζουν το κοστούμι της 'λογικής' και του 'ρεαλισμού', που τυχαίνει φυσικά να συμπίπτει πάντα με τα συμφέροντα αυτής της ολιγαρχίας.

Στο περιβάλλον του Economist, που αποτελεί άλλωστε και μια από τις ναυαρχίδες της προπαγάνδας του διεθνούς χρηματιστηριακού κεφαλαίου, δεν έχουν θέση οι πατριωτικοί συναισθηματισμοί και οι πατριωτικές κορώνες. Ακόμα και αν είσαι υπουργός άμυνας και ανήκεις στην παράταξη που αυτόκλητα έχει 'καπαρώσει' τον τίτλο του παραδοσιακού υπερασπιστή των εθνικών συμφερόντων, επειδή ... έτσι γουστάρει. Αν μη τι άλλο και μόνο λόγω παράδοσης, επιβάλλεται να επιδείξεις μια κάποια, έστω προσχηματική, πατριωτική ευαισθησία. 

Όμως οι διεθνιστές του χρηματιστηριακού κεφαλαίου και του νεοφιλελευθερισμού δεν τα σηκώνουν αυτά. Απαιτούν πλήρη ευθυγράμμιση με τις αποφάσεις που εξυπηρετούν τα συμφέροντά τους. Και όποιος δεν ευθυγραμμίζεται, τον αναλαμβάνουν τα μιντιακά τους φερέφωνα, παρουσιάζοντάς τον ως αφελή που δεν έχει επαφή με την πραγματικότητα. 

Μοιραία, λοιπόν, τόσο ο Παναγιωτόπουλος, όσο και ο Βαρβιτσιώτης, εγκατέλειψαν άρον-άρον τις πατριωτικές τους ευαισθησίες για να επανέλθουν στην 'κανονικότητα' που επιβάλει η κυρίαρχη ιδεολογία. 

Οι 'Σταχτοπούτες' της δεξιάς μεταμορφώθηκαν, εν μια νυκτί, από υπερασπιστές των πατριωτικών ιδανικών σε ορθολογιστές της νέας τάξης. Και έφτυσαν στα μούτρα το πατριωτικά ευαίσθητο πόπολο που αποδέχθηκε ακόμα και να επιτρέψει στο νεοφιλελεύθερο 'οδοστρωτήρα' να ισοπεδώσει τα πάντα, με αντάλλαγμα να αφήσει όρθια τα 'υψηλά ιδανικά'. Απ'ότι φαίνεται, θα τα ισοπεδώσει και αυτά.   

Οι κακόμοιροι 'Μακεδονομάχοι' θέλησαν να γλιτώσουν το έθνος από τους 'επικίνδυνους' Αριστερούς διεθνιστές και το παρέδωσαν στους υπηρέτες του διεθνούς κεφαλαίου που είναι πολύ χειρότεροι. Διότι λόγω ιδεολογίας, δεν έχουν απολύτως κανένα ηθικό φραγμό και άρα μπορούν άνετα να παίζουν το ρόλο των υπερασπιστών της πατρίδας. Τόσο, όσο χρειάζεται για να υφαρπάξουν ψήφους. Μετά, επιστρέφουν ξανά στην 'κανονικότητα' που τους επιβάλει η ιδεολογία τους.

Δυστυχώς, οι 'Μακεδονομάχοι', ως σύγχρονοι λωτοφάγοι, ξέχασαν ότι η σημερινή δεξιά είναι ένα κομμάτι του πολιτικού συστήματος που χρεοκόπησε τη χώρα. Και φαίνεται να μην έμαθαν τίποτε από τότε, όταν και πάλι, οι αρχιερείς του πολιτικού αμοραλισμού, αυτοί που έκαναν επάγγελμα την εξαπάτηση του λαού, μεταμορφώθηκαν, εν μια νυκτί, σε έντιμες δυνάμεις που λένε πάντα την αλήθεια.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
