Φανατικοί και επικίνδυνοι: η κυβέρνηση Μητσοτάκη έσπευσε να αναγνωρίσει τον αποτυχημένο πραξικοπηματία Χουάν Γκουαϊδό

Η νέα κυβέρνηση Μητσοτάκη έσπευσε να αναγνωρίσει τον αποτυχημένο πραξικοπηματία Χουάν Γκουαϊδό, ο οποίος, παρά την υποστήριξη της Ουάσινγκτον, δεν κατάφερε να ανατρέψει τη νόμιμα εκλεγμένη κυβέρνηση του Νικολάς Μαδούρο στη Βενεζουέλα.

Η κίνηση αυτή αποτελεί άλλη μια απόδειξη ότι ακόμα και η εξωτερική πολιτική της κυβέρνησης θα καθορίζεται, ως επί το πλείστον, από τον τυφλό φανατισμό της και όχι από μελετημένες κινήσεις που απαιτούν συνεχείς ελιγμούς και συνετές αποφάσεις.

Αν η νέα κυβέρνηση παρακολουθούσε στοιχειωδώς τις εξελίξεις, θα έπρεπε να γνωρίζει ότι:

1ον: Το αποτυχημένο πραξικόπημα του Γκουαϊδό και η Δυτική προπαγάνδα εναντίον της κυβέρνησης Μαδούρο, έπεσαν στο κενό. Ο λαός της Βενεζουέλας συνεχίζει να στηρίζει την κυβέρνηση Μαδούρο, καθώς ο άτσαλος και θρασύς Ντόναλντ Τραμπ, όπως και οι εγκληματίες σύμβουλοί του, υποστήριξαν απροκάλυπτα τον πραξικοπηματία Γκουαϊδό και μάλιστα μίλησαν ανοιχτά και για στρατιωτική εισβολή εναντίον της Βενεζουέλας. Κατάφεραν δηλαδή να πετύχουν το ακριβώς αντίθετο από αυτό που σκόπευαν: να συσπειρώσουν ακόμα περισσότερο τον λαό της Βενεζουέλας απέναντι στην ιμπεριαλιστική απειλή.

2ον: Σύμφωνα με πρόσφατη έκθεση των Αμερικανών οικονομολόγων Mark Weisbrot και Jeffrey Sachs, οι κυρώσεις εναντίον της Βενεζουέλας τα τελευταία χρόνια, έχουν προκαλέσει τουλάχιστον 40.000 θανάτους από το 2017 και αποτελούν μορφή συλλογικής τιμωρίας του πληθυσμού που παραβιάζει τη συνθήκη της Γενεύης, αλλά ακόμη και την αμερικανική νομοθεσία.

3ον: Ο ΟΗΕ και ο Ερυθρός Σταυρός έχουν κάνει επανειλημμένα εκκλήσεις να μη χρησιμοποιηθεί η οικονομική κρίση της Βενεζουέλας σαν πολιτικό όπλο. Επιπλέον, στις αρχές του χρόνου, μια ομάδα μελών του ΟΗΕ συμφώνησε με τη νόμιμη κυβέρνηση της Βενεζουέλας να προχωρήσουν σε ενέργειες που θα αποτρέπουν τις ΗΠΑ να παραβιάζουν τις συνθήκες που εξασφαλίζουν την κυριαρχία άλλων κρατών.

4ον: Μετά το σκάνδαλο που αποκαλύφθηκε πρόσφατα και αφορά συνεργάτες του Γκουαϊδό, τόσο οι ΗΠΑ όσο και η ΕΕ φαίνεται να τον θεωρούν καμένο χαρτί και τηρούν στάση αναμονής. Η αποκάλυψη έγινε μάλιστα από την αντι-Μαδουρική ιστοσελίδα PanAm Post και τον αρχισυντάκτη της Orlando Avendaño. Το σκάνδαλο αφορά στενούς συνεργάτες του Γκουαϊδό οι οποίοι καταχράστηκαν χρήματα της βοήθειας που θα πήγαινε για τη στήριξη των στρατιωτικών που αυτομόλησαν και διέφευγαν στην Κολομβία. Οι συνεργάτες του Γκουαϊδό σπατάλησαν τα χρήματα για να κάνουν πολυτελή ζωή.

5ον: Όπως ανέφερε χθες η Ελληνική έκδοση του Sputnik, "Η κυβέρνηση και η αντιπολίτευση της Βενεζουέλας συμφώνησαν να συμμετάσχουν σε ένα διαρκή ειρηνευτικό διάλογο, ως αποτέλεσμα τριήμερων συνομιλιών στο Μπαρμπάντος, δήλωσε ο Χέκτορ Ροντρίγκεζ, κυβερνήτης της πολιτείας Μιράντα της Βενεζουέλας, που συμμετείχε στις διαπραγματεύσεις." Αυτό σημαίνει ότι η αντιπολίτευση ουσιαστικά αναγνωρίζει τη νόμιμη κυβέρνηση εφόσον αποφάσισε να συνεχίσει το διάλογο.

Άρα, ασχέτως ιδεολογικού προσανατολισμού και προτιμήσεων, η κυβέρνηση Μητσοτάκη έπρεπε να εκμεταλλευτεί την ουδέτερη στάση της χώρας όσον αφορά τη Βενεζουέλα και να έχει την υπομονή να περιμένει να δει που θα οδηγήσουν οι διαπραγματεύσεις. Όμως αντί να εκμεταλλευτεί το πλεονέκτημα που απέκτησε η χώρα με την ουδέτερη στάση, κάτω από τις παρούσες συνθήκες, έσπευσε να το σπαταλήσει, λόγω της ιδεολογικής εμμονής που χαρακτηρίζει τη συντριπτική πλειοψηφία των μελών της.

Αυτό είναι ένα δείγμα του ιδεολογικού φανατισμού που διακατέχει τα γαλάζια στελέχη και που μπορεί να αποβεί μοιραίος όσον αφορά την εξωτερική πολιτική και τα εθνικά ζητήματα. Διότι στη διεθνή διπλωματία δεν χωράνε κανενός είδους φανατισμοί και ιδεοληψίες.
