Γιατί η Ρωσική επέμβαση στη Συρία μπορεί να αποδειχθεί μια καλοστημένη παγίδα της Δύσης

Με το άρθρο Τρεις βασικοί λόγοι που το ΝΑΤΟ δεν επιτίθεται τώρα στη Ρωσία, περιγράψαμε τον λόγο που οι ΗΠΑ και το ΝΑΤΟ μπορεί να επιδιώκουν την ανάμειξη της Ρωσίας και του Ιράν στον πόλεμο στη Συρία, καθώς έχουν χάσει τον έλεγχο του ISIS και επέφεραν χάος στη Μέση Ανατολή.

Είναι προφανές ότι η στρατηγική των ΗΠΑ να εξοπλίζει και να εκπαιδεύει μαχητές κατά του καθεστώτος Άσαντ, έχει αποτύχει. Ο Άσαντ κατάφερε να παραμείνει στην εξουσία παρά τη χαοτική κατάσταση, με τη βοήθεια φυσικά της Ρωσίας και του Ιράν. Έως τώρα οι ΗΠΑ και οι σύμμαχοί τους παρίσταναν ότι βομβαρδίζουν το ISIS, χωρίς φυσικά να ρισκάρουν μια επιχείρηση επί εδάφους, η οποία θα έκανε τα πράγματα ακόμα χειρότερα γι'αυτούς.

Παρόλα αυτά, η εμπλοκή της Ρωσίας στο μέτωπο της Μέσης Ανατολής, αποτελεί πιθανόν ένα σημαντικό κομμάτι της αλλαγής στρατηγικής της Ουάσιγκτον για την ώρα και έχει δύο βασικούς στόχους:

Ο πρώτος στόχος είναι να μπορέσουν οι ΗΠΑ να αποσυρθούν σταδιακά από το Συριακό χάος, αποφεύγοντας άλλον έναν ατέλειωτο πόλεμο φθοράς. Ταυτόχρονα, η Ουάσιγκτον θα εξαπολύσει ένα νέο πόλεμο προπαγάνδας ώστε να ρίξει το φταίξιμο για το χάος στον Πούτιν και τους συμμάχους του. Η Ουάσιγκτον ελπίζει επίσης να αποκαταστήσει, ως ένα βαθμό, τις σχέσεις με τους Ευρωπαίους συμμάχους, που φαίνονται δυσαρεστημένοι με την Αμερικανική πολιτική η οποία δημιούργησε το μεγάλο προσφυγικό πρόβλημα. Ένα πρόβλημα που η Ευρώπη φάνηκε απροετοίμαστη να αντιμετωπίσει. Ο Πούτιν θα θεωρηθεί υπεύθυνος για τα νέα κύματα προσφύγων.

Σύμφωνα με πρόσφατο άρθρο του γνωστού Αμερικανού αναλυτή Paul Craig Roberts, η Ρωσική ιστοσελίδα Sputnik ανέφερε ότι, ορισμένοι σημαντικοί σύμβουλοι του Ομπάμα τον συμβούλεψαν να αποσύρει τις Αμερικανικές δυνάμεις από τη Συρία και να εγκαταλείψει το σχέδιό του να ανατρέψει τον Άσαντ. Τον συμβούλεψαν επίσης να συνεργαστεί με τη Ρωσία προκειμένου να σταματήσει η ροή προσφύγων προς την Ευρώπη, καθώς οι Ευρωπαίοι αρχίζουν να αντιλαμβάνονται το μεγάλο κόστος της Αμερικανικής εξωτερικής πολιτικής. Του είπαν ακόμα, ότι η ηλιθιότητα των πολιτικών που ακολουθούν οι νεοσυντηρητικοί, απειλούν την αυτοκρατορία της Ουάσιγκτον στην Ευρώπη.

Ο δεύτερος στόχος, είναι να σύρουν τη Ρωσία σε αυτό που οι ΗΠΑ θέλουν να αποφύγουν: έναν ατέλειωτο πόλεμο φθοράς. Ο Πούτιν μπορεί να παγιδευτεί σε μια κατάσταση παρόμοια με αυτή των Σοβιετικών στο Αφγανιστάν, αλλά μάλλον όχι για τόσο μακρά περίοδο. Αυτό που απέτυχαν να κάνουν οι ΗΠΑ και οι σύμμαχοί τους στην Ουκρανία, μπορεί να το πετύχουν τώρα στη Συρία.

Οι ΗΠΑ θα συνεχίσουν ενδεχομένως να εξοπλίζουν μαχητές στη Συρία, κρατώντας τον Πούτιν απασχολημένο τουλάχιστον μέχρι τις Αμερικανικές εκλογές του 2016. Με μια περισσότερο πρόθυμη μαριονέτα από τον Ομπάμα, που θα ακολουθήσει πιστά την ατζέντα των νεοσυντηρητικών, η Ουάσιγκτον ίσως σχεδιάζει να ανοίξει ένα νέο μέτωπο στα Ρωσικά σύνορα. Είτε εκλεγεί η Χίλαρι Κλίντον, είτε οποιοσδήποτε Ρεπουμπλικάνος, είναι σχεδόν σίγουρο ότι θα ακολουθήσουν τέτοιες πολιτικές. Τα Δυτικά ΜΜΕ εστίασαν πρόσφατα στη νίκη του Alexander Lukashenko στις εθνικές εκλογές στη Λευκορωσία και επιμένουν να τον αποκαλούν ως 'τον τελευταίο δικτάτορα της Ευρώπης'.

Δεν είναι τυχαίο ότι ο Lukashenko τάχθηκε ανοιχτά κατά της 'θεραπείας σοκ' Δυτικής προέλευσης, κατά τη διάρκεια της μετάβασης στη μετα-Σοβιετική εποχή. Είναι η 'θεραπεία' που εφάρμοσε η μαφία του ΔΝΤ στη Ρωσία στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 90, καταστρέφοντας την οικονομία της. Είναι η ίδια 'θεραπεία' που επιβάλλεται εδώ και πέντε χρόνια στην Ελλάδα, καταστρέφοντάς την συστηματικά. Ίσως τα διάφορα Αμερικανικά think tanks να σχεδιάζουν άλλη μια 'έγχρωμη επανάσταση' στη Λευκορωσία αυτή τη φορά, καθώς το παιχνίδι στην Ουκρανία φαίνεται χαμένο, τουλάχιστον για την ώρα.

Από τη άλλη, η αποτελεσματικότητα του Πούτιν στη Συρία μπορεί να αποτελέσει μπούμερανγκ για τα σχέδια των Αμερικανών. Σε περίπτωση που οι Ρωσικές δυνάμεις μαζί με τον Συριακό στρατό και τους υπόλοιπους συμμάχους, καταφέρουν να 'καθαρίσουν' τη Συρία και το Ιράκ από τους Τζιχαντιστές, μέσα από μια ταχεία, ευρείας κλίμακας επιχείρηση, ο Πούτιν θα 'κερδίσει πόντους' στη διεθνή κοινότητα. Ενώ η Δύση θα φανεί ακόμα πιο αναξιόπιστη. Θα είναι μια σημαντική ήττα για το Δυτικό μπλοκ στο νέο ψυχρό πόλεμο.

Ωστόσο, κάθε πλευρά έχει τώρα να αντιμετωπίσει μια νέα πραγματικότητα. Όσο υπάρχουν φανατικοί που είναι αποφασισμένοι να σκοτωθούν σε επιθέσεις αυτοκτονίας, κανένας στρατός και καμία τακτική δεν θα μπορέσουν ποτέ να εξαλείψουν το χάος. Και ακόμα χειρότερα, τέτοιες ενέργειες σχεδιάζονται ήδη μακριά από τις εμπόλεμες ζώνες, σκοτώνοντας περισσότερους ανθρώπους, όπως πρόσφατα στο μακελειό της βομβιστικής επίθεσης στην Άγκυρα.

Το γεγονός αυτό, δείχνει ότι η Ουάσιγκτον μπορεί να έχει και έναν τρίτο στόχο μέσα από την άμεση εμπλοκή της Ρωσίας στο Συριακό μέτωπο: να 'μετατοπίσει' τέτοιου είδους επιθέσεις από Δυτικούς στόχους μέσα στη Ρωσική επικράτεια και ειδικά σε περιοχές 'υψηλού κινδύνου' για τους Ρώσους, όπως ο Καύκασος. Έτσι ο Πούτιν θα έχει άλλο ένα μεγάλο πρόβλημα να αντιμετωπίσει, πέρα από ένα πιθανό αδιέξοδο στη Συρία, μια ακόμα 'έγχρωμη επανάσταση' στα Ρωσικά σύνορα και ένα νέο γύρο οικονομικών κυρώσεων κατά της Ρωσίας.

Τα προεόρτια άρχισαν ήδη με την χθεσινή επίθεση με όλμους κατά της Ρωσικής πρεσβείας στη Δαμασκό, ενώ ο επικεφαλής του Μετώπου Al-Nusra στη Συρία, Abu Mohamed al-Jolani, κάλεσε τους Τζιχαντιστές στον Καύκασο να επιτεθούν κατά Ρώσων πολιτών και στρατιωτών, ως αντίποινα για τις αεροπορικές επιδρομές της Ρωσίας στη Συρία.
