Ο Τραμπ εκδηλώνει νωρίς τις προθέσεις του να προστατέψει τα συμφέροντα των υπερ-πλούσιων


Πριν από περίπου ένα χρόνο είχαμε αναφερθεί στην αληθινή "φύση" του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ, ο οποίος πρόκειται να διαδεχθεί τον Μπάρακ Ομπάμα στην προεδρία των ΗΠΑ. Είχαμε επισημάνει ότι η ρητορική του ακραίου κυνισμού του Τραμπ, έχει τις ρίζες της πίσω στον Θατσερικό κυνισμό με τον οποίο τελικά το νεοφιλελεύθερο δόγμα επικράτησε ως η κυρίαρχη κουλτούρα στη Δύση. Ωστόσο, η μεγάλη αντίφαση στο σημείο αυτό, είναι ότι ο Τραμπ προωθήθηκε ως ένας υποψήφιος ενάντια στο κατεστημένο, παρόλο που, φαίνεται ότι αποτελεί απλά μια εφεδρεία του.

Όπως είχε επισημανθεί “ο γραφικός δισεκατομμυριούχος Τραμπ, επιτίθεται κατά πάντων, ακόμα και στους εσωκομματικούς του αντιπάλους με χαρακτηρισμούς όπως "losers". Με ακόμα πιο κυνικό τρόπο, επιτίθεται στους Μεξικανούς μετανάστες λέγοντας πως είναι βιαστές και έμποροι ναρκωτικών. Η υποκρισία “made in USA” πιάνει κορυφή, καθώς είναι γνωστές οι μπίζνες της CIA με τα καρτέλ των ναρκωτικών σε όλη τη Λατινική Αμερική, αλλά και η ακραία εκμετάλλευση των μεταναστών από το Αμερικανικό κεφάλαιο, στο οποίο ανήκει και ο ίδιος ο Τραμπ.”, καταλήγοντας ότι “Οι Αμερικανοί πάντα πρωτοτυπούν. Την αρχή έκανε ο Μιτ Ρόμνεϊ και τώρα ήρθε η σειρά του Τραμπ. Ήρθε η ώρα οι "άχρηστοι" πολιτικοί να φύγουν απ'τη μέση. Ο νεοφιλελευθερισμός πετάει και το τελευταίο φύλλο συκής: Ναι, είμαστε το ένα τοις εκατό που σας εκμεταλλευόμαστε και σας φτωχοποιούμε και θέλουμε να σας κυβερνήσουμε για να είμαστε σίγουροι ότι δεν πρόκειται ποτέ να σηκώσετε κεφάλι ...”

Υπενθυμίζεται ότι το 2012, εν όψει των Αμερικανικών εκλογών, ο πολυεκατομμυριούχος υποψήφιος των Ρεπουμπλικάνων, Μιτ Ρόμνεϊ, είχε "πιαστεί στα πράσα" να ομολογεί κυνικά ότι το 47% των Αμερικανών πολιτών κακώς πιστεύει ότι έχει το δικαίωμα περίθαλψης, σίτισης, κατοικίας, που η κυβέρνηση πρέπει να το σεβαστεί, ότι είναι το 47% που δεν πληρώνει φόρο, καταλήγοντας ότι δεν είναι δουλειά του να ανησυχεί γι'αυτούς τους ανθρώπους.

Να λοιπόν που ο "αντι-συστημικός" Ντόναλντ Τραμπ συναντήθηκε τελικά με τον Μιτ Ρόμνεϊ το περασμένο Σάββατο, όπως ανέφεραν πολλές ιστοσελίδες, δίνοντας τα χέρια, παρόλο που κατά την προεκλογική του εκστρατεία ο Ρόμνεϊ υπήρξε ένας από εκείνους που ο Τραμπ αποκάλεσε “losers”! Αλλά και ο Ρόμνεϊ είχε καταφερθεί κατά του Τραμπ με βαρείς χαρακτηρισμούς του τύπου "ψεύτης" και "απατεώνας". Φαίνεται ότι οι πολυεκατομμυριούχοι-φιλαράκια έπαιξαν μια ωραία παράσταση προεκλογικά!

Σύμφωνα μάλιστα με ορισμένες πληροφορίες, ο Τραμπ σκέφτεται να δώσει στον Ρόμνεϊ ένα σημαντικό πόστο στην νέα κυβέρνηση.

Σε άλλο, πρόσφατο άρθρο, επισημάνθηκε ότι ο ρατσιστής δισεκατομμυριούχος, Ντόναλντ Τραμπ έπαιξε καλά το παιχνίδι του αντι-συστημικού υποψηφίου, αλλά στην πραγματικότητα, είναι απλά μια εφεδρεία του κατεστημένου. Τι πιστεύετε ότι θα κάνει; Θα προστατεύσει τα συμφέροντα των εκατομμυρίων φτωχών εργατικών στρωμάτων ή τα συμφέροντα της τάξης του; Μπορείτε να μαντέψετε; Δεν είναι και τόσο δύσκολο. Στο μόνο που μπορούμε πραγματικά να ελπίζουμε, είναι ότι θα αντισταθεί τελικά στην προοπτική μιας ανοιχτής σύγκρουσης με τη Ρωσία, όπως θέλει η Χίλαρι Κλίντον και το Αμερικανικό βαθύ κράτος, φυσικά.

Φαίνεται όμως ότι και η αποφυγή μιας ανοιχτής σύγκρουσης με τη Ρωσία μοιάζει όλο και πιο αμφίβολη. Ο Ρόμνεϊ φρόντισε ήδη να στείλει τα πρώτα μηνύματα κατά τη συνάντηση με τον Τραμπ, λέγοντας ότι είχαν μια ουσιαστική συζήτηση σχετικά με τα ιδιαίτερα σημαντικά Αμερικανικά συμφέροντα σε διάφορα θέατρα (συγκρούσεων) ανά την υφήλιο.

Αυτό που φαίνεται σίγουρο, είναι ότι ο Τραμπ θα σηματοδοτήσει μια μετάβαση σε μια νεοφεουδαρχική εποχή, όπου το σκληρό αστυνομικό κράτος θα ενισχυθεί ακόμα περισσότερο, με πρόσχημα την τρομοκρατία, ώστε να καταστέλλει κάθε απόπειρα εξέγερσης των φτωχοποιημένων μαζών ενάντια στην ελίτ των υπερ-πλούσιων.

Κάποιος θα μπορούσε να ρωτήσει: θα έπρεπε οι Αμερικανοί να ψηφίσουν τη Χίλαρι Κλίντον; Η απάντηση είναι: όχι, σε καμία περίπτωση. Η επικίνδυνη, διεφθαρμένη, φιλοπόλεμη, έτοιμη να ακολουθήσει πιστά τη νεοφιλελεύθερη/νεοσυντηρητική ατζέντα, Χίλαρι, δεν θα μπορούσε να αποτελέσει επιλογή. Αλλά οι Αμερικανοί ψηφοφόροι είχαν δύο καλές ευκαιρίες να γράψουν ιστορία, μέσα από έναν πολιτικό σεισμό χωρίς προηγούμενο.

Η πρώτη ευκαιρία ήταν με τον Μπέρνι Σάντερς στα προκριματικά των Δημοκρατικών. Αν εκατομμύρια Αμερικανών είχαν απορρίψει μαζικά την Χίλαρι από την αρχή, ψηφίζοντας τον Μπέρνι, τίποτα δεν θα μπορούσε να τον σταματήσει. Ούτε και τα βρόμικα παιχνίδια που του έπαιξαν μέσα από το Δημοκρατικό κόμμα. Αλλά οι Αμερικανοί είχαν και μια δεύτερη ευκαιρία αργότερα, αν στήριζαν μαζικά τους Πράσινους στον τελικό γύρο των εκλογών. Θα μπορούσαν να απαλλαχθούν μια και καλή από τη δικομματική δικτατορία των Δημοκρατικών και των Ρεπουμπλικάνων.

Ας ελπίσουμε ότι ο Ντόλαντ Τραμπ θα δείξει γρήγορα το πραγματικό του πρόσωπο, ώστε οι Αμερικανοί πολίτες να προετοιμαστούν για μια πραγματική πολιτική επανάσταση το 2020, που θα καταφέρει να αποτρέψει τον ερχομό μιας νέας μαύρης εποχής. Αλλά για να γίνει αυτό, θα πρέπει όλες οι αληθινά προοδευτικές δυνάμεις να ενωθούν έξω από τον δικομματικό αυταρχισμό, για να αποτελέσουν τη βάση πάνω στην οποία θα στηριχθεί το νέο μαζικό κίνημα που ξεκίνησε από τον Μπέρνι Σάντερς.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. The real "Minority Report"?

It was recently reported that the Chicago Police Department has implemented an Orwellian new program that targets innocent citizens based on indicators that they might be a person who has the potential to carry out a crime.
