Ποιοι πανηγυρίζουν για τη νίκη ενός φασίστα στη Βραζιλία

Καναδικές εταιρείες, πολιτικοί στις ΗΠΑ αλλά και η δεξιά αντιπολίτευση στη Βενεζουέλα βρίσκονται ανάμεσα σε όσους πανηγυρίζουν για την αναρρίχηση του φασίστα, ομοφοβικού και ακραία νεοφιλελεύθερου Ζαΐρ Μπολσονάρο, στην προεδρία της Βραζιλίας.

Καθώς η μεγαλύτερη οικονομία της Νότιας Αμερικής περνά στα χέρια ενός ανθρώπου, τον οποίο αρκετοί συγκρίνουν με τον δικτάτορα Πινοσέτ της Χιλής, ξένες εταιρείες τρίβουν τα χέρια τους για τις δυνατότητες «επενδύσεων» στον Αμαζόνιο. Σε πολιτικό επίπεδο πολλοί έχουν λόγους να πανηγυρίζουν για την ολοκληρωτική διάλυση των αριστερών ή έστω προοδευτικών κυβερνήσεων της Νότιας Αμερικής.

Ας δούμε όμως ποιοι αναμένουν άμεσα οφέλη από την άνοδο του Μπολσονάρο.

Οι καναδικές εταιρείες εξόρυξης

Προς τιμήν του το CBC, η καναδική δημόσια ραδιοτηλεόραση, φιλοξενεί στην ιστοσελίδα της ανάλυση του Κρις Αρσενολτ, ο οποίος μιλά για τα οφέλη που αναμένουν καναδικές εταιρείες εξόρυξης από το νέο πολιτικό σκηνικό στη Βραζιλία. Όπως σημειώνει, το άνοιγμα του Μπολσονάρο στην οικονομία της αγοράς και η ολοκληρωτική αδιαφορία του για κάθε είδους ρύθμισης που θα μπορούσε να προστατεύσει το περιβάλλον, δημιουργεί νέες επενδυτικές δυνατότητες και αποτελεί άμεσο κίνδυνο για τον Αμαζόνιο – τον μεγαλύτερο πνεύμονα του πλανήτη.

H Άννα Προύσα, πρώην αξιωματούχος του Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ, που τώρα ειδικεύεται σε θέματα Βραζιλίας για το αμερικανικό Think Tank Wilson Center, εξηγούσε ότι «είναι μια καλή στιγμή να επενδύσεις στις εξορυκτικές δραστηριότητες της Βραζιλίας». Η ίδια σημείωνε ότι ο Μπολσονάρο «ασπάστηκε πρόσφατα την φιλελεύθερη οικονομία της αγοράς και έχει δηλώσει δημόσια ότι θα μειώσει τους περιορισμούς στην εκμετάλλευση του περιβάλλοντος».

Ένα χρόνο πριν από την εκλογή Μπολσονάρο και ενώ βρισκόταν σε εξέλιξη η πραξικοπηματική ανατροπή του Λούλα και της Ντίλμα, καναδικές εταιρείες επένδυσαν 11.5 δισεκατομμύρια δολάρια στη Βραζιλία. Ανάμεσά τους κολοσσοί όπως η Brookfield Asset Management.

Η μεγάλη ελπίδα των καναδικών επιχειρήσεων, αναφέρει το CBC είναι να αναλάβει πλήρη καθήκοντα υπουργού οικονομικών ο σύμβουλος του Μπολσονάρο, Πάουλο Γκουέντες, ο οποίος θα προωθήσει μαζικά κύματα ιδιωτικοποιήσεων.

Η δεξιά αντιπολίτευση της Βενεζουέλας

Μια από τις πρώτες προσωπικότητες της Βενεζουέλας, που έσπευσε να συγχαρεί τον φασίστα πρόεδρο της Βραζιλίας ήταν η Μαρία Κορίνα Ματσάντο, εμβληματική φιγούρα της δεξιάς αντιπολίτευσης, η οποία έχει ζητήσει επανειλημμένα την ανατροπή του προέδρου της χώρας της Νικολάς Μαδούρο.

Σε μήνυμά της στο Twitter ανέφερε μεταξύ άλλων: «Στη Βενεζουέλα γνωρίζουμε ότι σήμερα, περισσότερο από ποτέ, έχουμε τη Βραζιλία στο πλευρό μας στη μάχη που δίνουμε για δημοκρατία και ελευθερία».

Η εκλογή Μπολσονάρο αναμένεται να ενισχύσει τις προσπάθειες της Ουάσινγκτον για την πραξικοπηματική ανατροπή της κυβέρνησης της βενεζουέλας ενώ φέρνει ακόμη πιο κοντά και το ενδεχόμενο ξένης στρατιωτικής εισβολής, την οποία ζητούσε ανοιχτά ο πρόεδρος Τραμπ.

O Λευκός Οίκος

Το μέλλον της Βενεζουέλα δεν είναι φυσικά ο μόνος λόγος για τον ο οποίο η αμερικανική κυβέρνηση βλέπει σαν ευλογία την επικράτηση ενός φασίστα στη Βραζιλία. Ο Ντόναλντ Τραμπ έσπευσε να συγχαρεί τον νικητή των εκλογών υποσχόμενος να εργαστεί πολύ στενά μαζί του τα επόμενα χρόνια.

Η Ουάσινγκτον γνωρίζει ότι η Βραζιλία θα αποτελέσει πλέον τον πολιορκητικό κριό για την ολοκληρωτική ισοπέδωση των μικρών αλλά σημαντικών αλλαγών που είχαν επιτευχθεί τις προηγούμενες δεκαετίες στη Νότια Αμερική. Η διάλυση κάθε μορφής συνεργασίας, που επιχειρήθηκε από προέδρους όπως ο Τσάβες στη Βενεζουέλα, ο Λούλα στη Βραζιλία, ο Μοράλες στη Βολιβία και ο Κορέα στον Ισημερινό, θα επιτρέψουν στις ΗΠΑ να ασκήσουν και πάλι την επιθετική πολιτική που χαρακτήρισε το λεγόμενο Washington Consensus, την επιβολή ακραίων νεοφιλελεύθερων προγραμμάτων που ενίσχυσαν αμερικανικές εταιρείες και τράπεζες.
