Λ. Βατικιώτης :Τι προαναγγέλλουν οι λαϊκές κινητοποιήσεις στη Λατινική Αμερική

Χιλή: Όαση για τους λίγους, κόλαση για τους πολλούς. Ο οικονομολόγος και δημοσιογράφος –αναλυτής Λεωνίδας Βατικιώτης , μιλώντας στον 98.4 για τις εξελίξεις σε Κεντρική και Νότιο Αμερική , τόνισε ότι οι λαϊκές κινητοποιήσεις κόντρα στις νεοφιλελεύθερες οικονομικές πολιτικές των χωρών τους, είναι συνάμα και μια προαναγγελία οικονομικής θύελλας με παγκόσμιες ενδεχομένως διαστάσεις.

Ειδικά για την Χιλή , ο Λεωνίδας Βατικιώτης τόνισε , ότι ο δεξιός πρόεδρος Πινέρα είναι από τους πλουσιότερους ανθρώπους της Χιλής, με προσωπική περιουσία που, σύμφωνα με το περιοδικό Forbes, φτάνει τα 2,8 δισ. δολ. Το μίσος που εξέφρασε ενάντια στους διαδηλωτές όταν δήλωσε «είμαστε σε πόλεμο» και η κάλυψη απέναντι στο στρατό (που δεν έχει αλλάξει ούτε καν εμφάνιση από τα χρόνια του Πινοτσέτ όταν σκότωσε 40.000 δημοκράτες και προκάλεσε την εξαφάνιση άλλων 2.300) μπορεί να μην ταίριαζε με το ρόλο του ως εκλεγμένος πρόεδρος, ταίριαζε πλήρως όμως με τα ταξικά του συμφέροντα. Ας κρατήσουμε ότι στις διαδηλώσεις, πολλά από τα πανό των συγκεντρωμένων έγραφαν συνθήματα για τη διαφθορά των εταιρειών του προέδρου.

Αν κάτι επιπλέον εξοργίζει είναι η ανοχή απέναντι στη σφαγή των αμάχων που επέδειξαν τόσο οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες όσο και η Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση. Αν δεν είχε προηγηθεί ο ζήλος που επέδειξαν απέναντι στη Βενεζουέλα, επικαλούμενες την παραβίαση των ανθρωπίνων δικαιωμάτων για να ζητήσουν εκλογές και την παραίτηση του εκλεγμένου προέδρου Νικολάς Μαδούρο, κανείς δε θα απαιτούσε να αναλάβουν το ρόλο του εγγυητή των ελευθεριών. Στο βαθμό όμως που θέλουν να έχουν άποψη και για όσα συμβαίνουν εκτός, ο Πινέρα, με τουλάχιστον 15 νεκρούς στη θητεία του, εκατοντάδες τραυματίες και χιλιάδες συλλήψεις που αντιμετωπίζουν τον κίνδυνο να καταλήξουν ακόμη και σε 5ετή φυλάκιση, χρήζει άμεσης καταδίκης.

Αυτό όμως που αντίθετα θα δούμε πολύ σύντομα, στις 11 Νοεμβρίου συγκεκριμένα, είναι ο ολιγάρχης χιλιανός Μπερλουσκόνι, να υποδέχεται στο Σαντιάγο δεκάδες ξένους ηγέτες με αφορμή τη σύνοδο του του Συμβουλίου Οικονομικής Συνεργασίας Ασίας – Ειρηνικού. Κι έτσι να ξεπλένεται μέσω του Τύπου. Ο Λεωνίδας Βατικιώτης, αναφέρθηκε και στην παρέμβαση κόντρα σε αυτό το κλίμα, Βρετανών βουλευτών που ζητούν διπλωματική παρέμβαση στη Χιλή , για να σταματήσει η άνευ προηγουμένου βία σε βάρος των διαδηλωτών.
