Yet, other progressive political commentators still don't buy Warren's Leftist turn. Given her highly controversial political record and the fact that she clearly appears to be unwilling to cut ties with super-donors, they believe that Warren is, in essence, establishment's reserve.

Indeed, the theory that Warren is actually a 'crypto-establishment' asset with a mission to split the progressive vote in order to crush Sanders' momentum, is highly probable.
If it's true, it would mean that the establishment is indeed feeling high pressure both from the Left and the far-right. On the one hand, Trump loyalists have declared war to the liberal elite in order to promote the interests of a certain capitalist faction. On the other hand, an army of progressives are threatening to take over and transform the Democratic party.
As a result, the liberal elite is now in front of a great danger: to lose almost its entire political power, solely expressed by the DNC establishment and the corporate Democrats. So, it seems that its only option is to find a candidate that would replicate Sanders' agenda in order to attract progressive voters.
Indeed, as Politico revealed, "Centrists who once said the senator would lead the party to ruin are coming around to her as an alternative to Bernie Sanders."
But why is this actually good news? Because it means that the establishment - probably for the first time after decades - retreats in front of the Leftist turn of the American society, and especially the American youth, and tries to beat Sanders with a 'replica' candidate.
No matter if Warren will slip towards 'business as usual' agenda in case she will manage to beat Sanders, these are signs indicating that Clintonism in the Democratic party is over. With the power of the people, progressives will eventually take over the party and they will definitely terminate the destructive neoliberal policies, giving real prospect and hope to the American people.
