Αλέιδα Γκεβάρα: Για ποια δημοκρατία μιλούν στην Ευρώπη;

Για ποιά δημοκρατία μιλούν οι ευρωπαίοι; Πότε είδατε, π.χ, να εκλέγεται δημοκρατικά ένας βασιλιάς; Που είναι η γηραιά Ευρώπη, που το μόνο που κάνει είναι να συνθηκολογεί διαρκώς και να γονατίζει μπροστά στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες; Με τον ενθουσιασμό και την συγκρότηση που τη διακρίνει, η Αλέιδα Γκεβάρα (κόρη του κομαντάντε Ερνέστο Τσε Γκεβάρα) υπερασπίστηκε με πειστικό τρόπο την αξιοπρέπεια του Κουβανικού λαού, που αντιστέκεται για πάνω από μισό αιώνα στον εγκληματικό αποκλεισμό της Βορειοαμερικάνικης αυτοκρατορίας (και των Ευρωπαίων συμμάχων της).

Σε μιά από τις διαλέξεις που πραγματοποιήθηκαν στα πλαίσια της 7ης Ηπειρωτικής Συνάντησης Αλληλεγγύης στην Κούβα, στο Καράκας της Βενεζουέλας το Σαββατοκύριακο 1-2 Αυγούστου, η Γκεβάρα υποστήριξε ότι “δεν μας ενδιαφέρει αν οι ΗΠΑ δεν θέλουν να εμπορευτούν μαζί μας, αλλά μας κάνει πολύ κακό, αν δεν μπορούμε να εμπορευτούμε με άλλες χώρες”. Στη συνέχεια, ανέφερε παραδείγματα της κουβανικής καθημερινότητας, που ο σαδισμός των ηγετών της Ουάσιγκτον κατά τις τελευταίες πέντε δεκαετίες, έχει μετατρέψει σε έναν επώδυνο παραλογισμό.

Χαρακτηριστικά ανέφερε ότι “δεν μπορούμε να αγοράσουμε γάλα σε σκόνη από την Ευρώπη επειδή η αυτοκρατορία πιέζει τις τοπικές επιχειρήσεις και πρέπει να αναζητήσουμε αυτό το σημαντικό προιόν για τη διατροφή των παιδιών μας στη Νέα Ζηλανδία, δηλαδή στην άλλη άκρη του κόσμου”. Στο ίδιο πνεύμα, η κόρη του Γκεβάρα ανέφερε ότι “κάθε πλοίο που πιάνει λιμάνι στη Κούβα, δεν μπορεί να πιάσει λιμάνι στις ΗΠΑ και στους συμμάχους τους τους επόμενους έξι μήνες”.

Υπενθύμισε επίσης, ότι αναγκάζονται να κινήσουν γη και ουρανό για να βρούν φάρμακα που σώζουν ζωές και να αντιμετωπίσουν τέτοιου είδους δυσκολίες. “Αν για να σώσουμε τη ζωή ενός κουβανού ή μιάς κουβανής που είναι άρρωστοι έπρεπε να χτηπήσουμε την πόρτα του Λευκού Οίκου θα το κάναμε, ξέρουμε όμως ότι δεν θα κουνήσουν ούτε το μικρό τους δακτυλάκι για να μας βοηθήσουν, θα κάνουν μάλιστα ακριβώς το αντίθετο”, σημείωσε.

Στη συνέχεια η Αλέιδα επιτέθηκε στις ευρωπαικές κυβερνήσεις: “Για ποιά δημοκρατία μιλούν οι ευρωπαίοι; Πότε είδατε, π.χ, να εκλέγεται δημοκρατικά ένας βασιλιάς; Που είναι η γηραιά Ευρώπη, που το μόνο που κάνει είναι να συνθηκολογεί διαρκώς και να γονατίζει μπροστά στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες;” αναρωτήθηκε.

Τέλος, προσδιόρισε κάποια στοιχεία για την αναγκαία αλληλεγγύη που πρέπει να ισχύουν για όλους τους λαούς που αγωνίζονται ενάντια στην αυτοκρατορία και για την απελευθέρωση. Υπενθύμισε τις μέρες που ο Τσε καλούσε επίμονα να μην αφήσουμε μόνο το Βιετνάμ, το ίδιο πρέπει να κάνουμε τώρα με το Ιράκ, το Αφγανιστάν και την Παλαιστίνη, καταλήγοντας: “Δεν υπάρχει αποκλεισμός που μπορεί να μας νικήσει. Η Αλληλεγγύη είναι η τρυφερότητα των λαών. Ας την κάνουμε πραγματικότητα”.

Διατηρούμε τη σοσιαλιστική οικονομία

Μια άλλη εξαιρετική παρέμβαση στη συνάντηση, ήταν του κουβανού οικονομολόγου Χοσέ Άνχελ Πέρες, προέδρου του Κέντρου Ερευνών για την Παγκόσμια Οικονομία (CIEM), ο οποίος αναφέρθηκε στις νέες αλλαγές που συντελούνται στην Κούβα. Ο Πέρες επεσήμανε ότι το σημερινό οικονομικό μοντέλο της Κούβας σημαίνει “να σταθεροποιήσουμε την σοσιαλιστική οικονομία” σχολιάζοντας: “Να μην κάνει κανείς το λάθος: Δεν υπάρχει οικονομία της αγοράς, ούτε μικτή οικονομία, αλλά σοσιαλιστική οικονομία”.

Στη συνέχεια αναρωτήθηκε, γιατί επρεπε να επικαιροποιηθεί το οικονομικό μοντέλο: “Γιατί είχαμε ορισμένες ανισορροπίες και δυσλειτουργίες στη λειτουργία των νόμων, και όλο αυτό στα πλαίσια της παγκόσμιας οικονομικής κρίσης που υπάρχει σήμερα”. Δεν δίστασε να καθορίσει σαν πρώτη αιτία τον βορειοαμερικάνικο αποκλεισμό, ο οποίος “είχε προκαλέσει μέχρι τα τέλη του 2012, 1 τρις δολάρια ζημιά στην Κούβα”.

Έπρεπε κατά συνέπεια να επικαιροποιηθεί το οικονομικό μοντέλο, και αυτό δεν είναι για να γυρίσουμε στον καπιταλισμό, όπως λένε οι εχθροί μας. “Το κάνουμε για να εξασφαλίσουμε τη συνέχεια του οικονομικού μας μοντέλου” επεσήμανε ο Πέρες.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’
