Το παραμύθι της Ιρλανδικής ανάκαμψης συνεχίζεται

Οι Ιρλανδοί χάνουν τα σπίτια τους και πετιούνται στο δρόμο με απίστευτους ρυθμούς, αλλά ο Σόιμπλε "ζηλεύει" την πρόοδο της Ιρλανδίας!

Η Ιρλανδία θεωρείται πρότυπο μεταξύ των κρατών που υπήχθησαν σε προγράμματα στήριξης. Ωστόσο, πολλοί Ιρλανδοί δεν έχουν αισθανθεί τη διαφημιζόμενη ανάκαμψη και χάνουν στα σπίτια τους.

Έναν χρόνο μετά ο Άντριου Μπράντσο θυμάται ακόμη την τραυματική εμπειρία της έξωσης από το σπίτι του. Αδυνατώντας να εξοφλήσει την υποθήκη του μετά από ένα ατύχημα που τον κατέστησε ανίκανο για εργασία, άφησε αρχικά την κατοικία του στο Δουβλίνο για να μετακομίσει στο σπίτι του στη μικρή πόλη Μάλινγκαρ, μία ώρα οδικώς δυτικά του Δουβλίνου. Ωστόσο, η τράπεζά του δεν του επέτρεψε να μείνει στο σπίτι του. Όπως εκμυστηρεύτηκε ο 40χρονος Ιρλανδός, «δύο δικαστικοί επιμελητές ήρθαν δίπλα μου, με έσυραν έξω απ' το σπίτι και έφραξαν την είσοδο και τα παράθυρα».

Η κατάσταση βελτιώθηκε «φαινομενικά»

Πλέον ζει με τη σύντροφό του. Χωρίς εκείνη θα έμενε άστεγος, λέει. Η περίπτωση του Μπράντσο δεν είναι μεμονωμένη στην Ιρλανδία. Οι υποθέσεις εξώσεων στα δικαστήρια σχηματίζουν «βουνά». Σύμφωνα με αναφορές ιρλανδικών μέσων ενημέρωσης, σε ορισμένες πόλεις εκκενώνονται έως και 50 κατοικίες την ημέρα. Μια πραγματικότητα που αγνοείται συχνά όταν γίνεται λόγος για την οικονομική ανάκαμψη στη χώρα.

Η Τρις Μπέρνερ συνίδρυσε το 2011 μία οργάνωση που δραστηριοποιείται κατά των εξώσεων σε εθνικό επίπεδο. Τα μέλη της διαμαρτύρονται ότι παρ' όλες τις καλές οικονομικές ειδήσεις για την Ιρλανδία πολλοί άνθρωποι εξακολουθούν να χάνουν τα σπίτια τους. Όπως επισήμανε, «μπορεί φαινομενικά τα πράγματα να είναι καλύτερα, αλλά αν μιλήσεις με τους ανθρώπους αντιλαμβάνεσαι ότι δεν είναι έτσι. Οι άνθρωποι εξακολουθούν να χάνουν τα σπίτια τους. Απλά προσπαθούν να δείχνουν γενναιότητα».

Από την κατάρρευση του ιρλανδικού τραπεζικού συστήματος που απείλησε προ μερικών ετών σοβαρά το σύνολο της ιρλανδικής οικονομίας, η χώρα λαμβάνει σήμερα τον έπαινο των Βρυξελλών αλλά και του Γερμανού υπουργού Οικονομικών Βόλφγκανγκ Σόιμπλε, ο οποίος δήλωσε τον περσινό Οκτώβριο ότι «ζηλεύει» την επιτυχία που σημείωσε η Ιρλανδία εφαρμόζοντας το πρόγραμμα δραστικών περικοπών και μεταρρυθμίσεων.

Αύξηση των εξώσεων στην αρχή του 2015

Παρά την οικονομική ανάκαμψη που σημειώθηκε και απέφερε στην Ιρλανδία προσωνύμια όπως «Κελτικός Τίγρης» και «Κελτικός Φοίνικας» που αναγεννήθηκε από τις στάχτες του, η χρηματοοικονομική κρίση εξακολουθεί να μετενεργεί. Πολλοί Ιρλανδοί καλούνται να εξοφλήσουν υπερτιμημένα ακίνητα που αγόρασαν με πολύ υψηλές υποθήκες, εξαιτίας της γενικευμένης υπερτίμησης στην αγορά ακινήτων.

Σύμφωνα με τον Κόνσταντιν Γκάρτζιεφ, πρόεδρο του διοικητικού συμβουλίου της Ιρλανδικής Ένωσης Ενυπόθηκων Δανειστών, «τα οικονομικά στοιχεία της Ιρλανδίας είναι εξαιρετικά αυτό το διάστημα. Όμως, τα τρία τέταρτα της ανάπτυξης προέρχονται αποκλειστικά από πολυεθνικές επιχειρήσεις και φορολογική βελτιστοποίηση». Ο αριθμός των εξώσεων στο πρώτο τρίμηνο του 2015 σημείωσε αύξηση, παρατήρησε ο Κόνσταντιν Γκάρτζιεφ, εκφράζοντας την ανησυχία ότι η κατάσταση θα επιδεινωθεί το προσεχές διάστημα για πολλούς Ιρλανδούς.
