Αντικομμουνιστική προπαγάνδα στις Παγκύπριες εξετάσεις

Να εξισώσει τον κομμουνισμό με το ναζισμό-φασισμό προσπάθησε το Υπουργείο Παιδείας της Κύπρου με αφορμή το γραπτό της ιστορίας στις Παγκύπριες εξετάσεις, σε μια περίοδο που ο φασισμός τόσο στην Κύπρο όσο και στην Ευρώπη βρίσκεται σε άνοδο. Για προσπάθεια της κυβέρνησης «να ξεπλύνει τον φασισμό», έκανε λόγο ο Επικεφαλής του Γραφείου Παιδείας του ΑΚΕΛ

Συγκεκριμμένα το Υπουργείο Παιδείας της Κύπρου, στο πλαίσιο προσπάθειας ιδεολογικής προπαγάνδας, ζήτησε, μέσω εξεταστικού δοκιμίου, από τους εξεταζόμενους να απαντήσουν πώς η οικονοµική κρίση του 1929 - 1932 συνέβαλε στην κατάλυση της κοινοβουλευτικής δηµοκρατίας και του φιλελευθερισµού, παρουσιάζοντας την άνοδο των «κυριότερων αυταρχικών καθεστώτων» στην Ευρώπη, κατά την περίοδο του Μεσοπολέµου.

Οι έννοιες: επιπτώσεις οικονοµικής κρίσης, Κοµµουνιστικό Κόµµα, σοσιαλισµός, φασισµός/φασιστική ιδεολογία, εθνικισµός, Εθνικοσοσιαλιστικό Κόµµα, όπως διευκρινίστηκε έπρεπε να ενταχθούν λειτουργικά στο κείμενο της απάντησης του εξεταζόμενου.

Όπως φαίνεται και από τις προτεινόμενες λύσεις, οι παραπάνω έννοιες χωρίζονται σε δύο ζητούμενα:

  • στις επιπτώσεις της οικονομικής κρίσης και
  • στην άνοδο αυταρχικών καθεστώτων στην Ευρώπη, στο οποίο εκτός από την Ιταλία του Μουσολίνι και το ναζισμό στη Γερμανία, περιλαμβάνεται η ΕΣΣΔ του Στάλιν όπου κυβερνά το Κοµµουνιστικό Κόµµα.

Η οικοδόµηση του Σοσιαλισµού, παρουσιάζεται ως αιτία που οδήγησε στην ανάδειξη αυταρχικού καθεστώτος, παρόμοιου με αυτών που είχαν επιβληθεί στη Γερμανία και την Ιταλία, ενώ ο υποψήφιος για να βαθμολογηθεί με άριστα, έπρεπε, επιπλέον, να καταδείξει ότι η κρατικοποίηση της καλλιεργήσιµης γης και η εκβιοµηχάνιση υπό τον έλεγχο του κράτους, οδήγησαν επίσης, στην ανάδειξη τέτοιου καθεστώτος.

«Μετά την απόφαση για να αποστέλλονται τα παιδιά μας στο κρησφύγετο του Γρίβα, μετά την απαγόρευση παρουσίας της Δικοινοτικής χορωδίας σε σχολείο, τώρα το ΥΠΠ επέλεξε μέσα από το εξεταστικό δοκίμιο της Ιστορίας στις Παγκύπριες εξετάσεις να επιδοθεί σε αντικομμουνιστική προπαγάνδα και να προσπαθήσει να ξεπλύνει το φασισμό», τόνισε ο Επικεφαλής του Γραφείου Παιδείας του ΑΚΕΛ Χρίστος Χριστοφίδης, εξαπολύοντας δριμεία επίθεση κατά του Υπουργείου Παιδείας.

Ο ίδιος έκανε λόγο για ανιστόριτη και προκλητική προσέγγιση ταύτισης του φασισμού - ναζισμού με τον κομμουνισμό και τον σοσιαλισμό, η οποία «δημιουργεί αποτροπιασμό και αγανάκτηση».

Το σχόλιο του TPP

Η εξίσωση του κομμουνισμού με τον ναζισμό – φασισμό, αποτελεί την τελευταία δεκαετία ξεκάθαρη πολιτική επιλογή της Ε.Ε που συναρτήθηκε με τις ενταξιακές διαπραγματεύσεις για τις πρώην σοβιετικές δημοκρατίας. Ετσι το 2005, για πρώτη φορά συζητήθηκε στην Πολιτική Επιτροπή της Κοινοβουλευτικής Συνέλευσης του Συμβουλίου της Ευρώπης το πόρισμα «Για την αναγκαιότητα διεθνούς καταδίκης των εγκλημάτων των κομμουνιστικών καθεστώτων» που αποκλήθηκε «αντικομμουνιστικό μνημόνιο».

Η Ολομέλεια της Κοινοβουλευτικής Συνέλευσης του Συμβουλίου της Ευρώπης στις 25 Ιανουαρίου του 2006 υπερψήφισε τελικά το κείμενο με εισηγητή τον Σουηδό βουλευτή Γκέραν Λίντμπλαντ με 99 ψήφους υπέρ, 42 κατά και 12 αποχές. Όπως χαρακτηριστικά επισημαίνονταν σε τροπολογία που προστέθηκε στο κείμενο «τα εν λόγω εγκλήματα των κομμουνιστικών καθεστώτων δεν έχουν καταδικασθεί από τη διεθνή κοινότητα όπως έγινε για τα φοβερά εγκλήματα που διεπράχθησαν στο όνομα του Εθνικού Σοσιαλισμού (Ναζισμού)». Παράλληλα στο άρθρο 4 του σχετικού κειμένου αναφέροντα πως «η Κοινοβουλευτική Συνέλευση αναγνωρίζει ότι παρά τα εγκλήματα των ολοκληρωτικών κομμουνιστικών καθεστώτων, ορισμένα ευρωπαϊκά κομμουνιστικά κόμματα εργάσθηκαν για τη υλοποίηση της δημοκρατίας».

Με βάση αυτό εκπονήθηκαν σειρά χρηματοδοτούμενων κοινοτικών δράσεων για έρευνες, συγγραφή βιβλίων, χρηματοδότηση ΜΚΟ και παραγωγή κινηματογραφικών η τηλεοπτικών παραγωγών για το θέμα. Στις 2 Απρίλη 2009, το Ευρωκοινοβούλιο υιοθέτησε ψήφισμα, βάσει του οποίου καθιερώθηκε η 23η Αυγούστου ως «Ευρωπαϊκή Ημέρα Μνήμης για τα θύματα όλων των ολοκληρωτικών και αυταρχικών καθεστώτων» στο οποίο ενσωματώνονταν αντίστοιχα στοιχεία εξίσωσης, ενώ εκπονήθηκε από την Κομισιόν στις 22 Δεκέμβρη του 2010 έκθεση με τίτλο «Η μνήμη των εγκλημάτων που διαπράχθηκαν από τα ολοκληρωτικά καθεστώτα στην Ευρώπη».
