Ιδιοτελείς και υποκριτές

Διαβάζεις ότι ο επίτροπος Οικονομικών σοσιαλδημοκράτης Πιερ Μοσκοβισί είπε σε μια σύναξη στις Βρυξέλλες πως οι Ευρωπαίοι πολίτες ακούνε τη λέξη μεταρρύθμιση και περιμένουν τιμωρία αντί για πρόοδο. Σιγουρεύεσαι ότι είναι δική του η δήλωση -γιατί με το τρολάρισμα που πάει σύννεφο δεν μπορείς να είσαι ποτέ ασφαλής- και αρχίζεις να προβληματίζεσαι.

Πρόκειται για αυτοκριτική, έστω και καθυστερημένη (ακόμη και έτσι όμως καλοδεχούμενη), ή μήπως έχουμε να κάνουμε με μια ανέξοδη κουβέντα για να ικανοποιηθεί το ακροατήριό του, η οποία θα αποσυρθεί μόλις τα πράγματα ζορίσουν, μόλις δηλαδή τον επαναφέρουν στην τάξη οι θεματοφύλακες του Συμφώνου Σταθερότητας, αυτής της θηλιάς που σφίγγει τον λαιμό της ευρωζώνης;

Θέλεις να πάρεις κουράγιο και να φωνάξεις «επιτέλους, ένας εκπρόσωπος της πάλαι ποτέ ακμάζουσας σοσιαλδημοκρατίας ανακάλυψε αυτό που έχουν βιώσει στην Ευρώπη εκατομμύρια άνθρωποι». Κάτι όμως δεν σ’ αφήνει να ησυχάσεις. Ανασύρεις παλαιότερες δηλώσεις και του Μοσκοβισί και άλλων από την οικογένεια της σοσιαλδημοκρατίας και διαπιστώνεις ότι έχει πέσει χοντρό δούλεμα.

Κρατάς λοιπόν μικρό καλάθι. Και ω του θαύματος! Λίγες μέρες μετά, ο Μοσκοβισί ξαναχτυπά με διαφορετική τούτη τη φορά διάθεση. Μιλώντας στην «Ημερησία» σημειώνει πως «μόνον εφόσον γίνουν οι απαραίτητες αλλαγές η Ελλάδα δεν θα χρειαστεί 4ο μνημόνιο. Είναι ο μόνος δρόμος για να επιτευχθούν οι στόχοι. Η δεύτερη αξιολόγηση θα είναι απαιτητική και θα χρειαστούν νέα μέτρα».

Η λέξη μεταρρύθμιση απουσιάζει, ωστόσο την αντικαθιστούν τα τοξικά ισοδύναμά της, «απαραίτητες αλλαγές» και «νέα μέτρα». Και λέμε τοξικά ισοδύναμα γιατί έχουμε πια συνειδητοποιήσει τι κρύβεται πίσω απ’ αυτές τις αθώες και γενικής αποδοχής εκφράσεις. Στην ίδια συνέντευξη ο κ. Μοσκοβισί τονίζει ότι «ο ακροδεξιός λαϊκισμός πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστεί με αμείλικτο δυναμισμό».

Σηκώνεις τα χέρια ψηλά. Πόσο άσχετος πρέπει να είναι κάποιος ώστε να μην μπορεί να δει τη σχέση που υπάρχει ανάμεσα στην ενδυνάμωση του ακροδεξιού λαϊκισμού, του αντιδραστικού ευρωσκεπτικισμού και του εθνικισμού και στην πορεία που έχει πάρει η Ευρώπη με ευθύνη των δύο μεγάλων πολιτικών οικογενειών που την κυβερνούν τα τελευταία χρόνια.

Τα φαινόμενα αυτά, που πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστούν με αμείλικτο δυναμισμό, κατά τον Μοσκοβισί δεν εμφανίστηκαν τώρα. Η Λεπέν στη χώρα του δεν ήρθε από το πουθενά, ο Πέπε Γκρίλο στην Ιταλία, οι ακροδεξιοί στην Αυστρία, στην Ουγγαρία και στις σκανδιναβικές χώρες, οι οπαδοί του μάρκου στη Γερμανία, ο Φάρατζ στη Βρετανία και ο Κατσίνσκι στην Πολωνία δεν έπεσαν από τον ουρανό.

Μια ματιά στις έρευνες και θα διαπιστώσουμε ότι οι θυμωμένοι μ’ αυτά που συμβαίνουν στην Ευρώπη κερδίζουν συνεχώς έδαφος. Αλλού διοχετεύουν την οργή τους στον Νότο, αλλού στον Βορρά. Δεν δικαιούνται, λοιπόν, ο Μοσκοβισί και οι άλλοι να δηλώνουν αιφνιδιασμένοι. Οι πολιτικές τους είναι η αιτία. Για άσχετους δεν τους κόβω. Ιδιοτελείς είναι, υποκριτές είναι και κυρίως ταξικά προσηλωμένοι.
