Άκου αποτυχημένε της πολιτικής Γιάννη Στουρνάρα

Το πρωί έγραψα ένα κείμενο για την αντιθεσμική στάση του Γιάννη Στουρνάρα στην Επιτροπή της Βουλής. Το μετάνιωσα. Δεν έχει νόημα να γράφεις με πολιτικούς όρους και δημοσιογραφική ευπρέπεια για κάποιον ο οποίος συμπεριφέρεται με πολιτική αλητεία. Γι’ αυτό αποφάσισα να γράψω και αυτό το κείμενο στο Γιάννη Στουρνάρα.

Άκου λοιπόν Γιάννη Στουρνάρα. Πήγες στην Επιτροπή της Βουλής για να καταθέσεις για τα δάνεια στα ΜΜΕ και τα κόμματα. Για το δημόσιο χρήμα που καταληστεύτηκε με εγγυήσεις «αέρα». Στάθηκες με θράσος απέναντι σε έλληνες βουλευτές που είχαν το ρόλο εισαγγελέα και με τη βοήθεια είναι αλήθεια Βορίδηδων και Λοβέρδων, είπες ψέματα και μετά άλλα ψέματα. Γι’ αυτά θα κριθείς είμαι σίγουρος, αν και στη συνείδηση του κόσμου έχεις ήδη κριθεί ως ένας αποτυχημένος και δουλοπρεπής υπουργός.

Το θέμα για μένα είναι πως σε αυτή την Επιτροπή, όταν ο βουλευτής Νίκος Νικολόπουλος, σε ρώτησε για το δημοσίευμα του HOT DOC που αποκάλυπτε πως τέσσερις έρευνες για το αμαρτωλό ΚΕΕΛΠΝΟ χάθηκαν (μεταξύ αυτών ερευνώμενη ήταν και η σύζυγός σου) απάντησες υποτιμητικά στο βουλευτή πως «περιποιεί τιμή για τη Βουλή να διαβάζετε αυτό το περιοδικό;» Το είπες αυτό μέσα στη Βουλή, της οποίας οι αποφάσεις κατοχυρώνουν την ελευθερία του Τύπου και το δικαίωμα να ασκεί ο δημοσιογράφος δημόσιο έλεγχο.

Καταλαβαίνω πως για σένα τιμή είναι να τραπεζώνεις το Γιάννη Πρετεντέρη στο δώμα της Τράπεζας της Ελλάδος όπως αποκαλύφθηκε στην Επιτροπή. Αλλά η Ιστορία και η Δημοκρατία τα θέλουν διαφορετικά τα πράγματα. Να μην είναι η λειτουργία του Τύπου εξαρτώμενη από τα γούστα σου και τα συμφέροντά σου αλλά να είναι θεσμική. Να πρέπει τα δημόσια πρόσωπα να απαντούν σε αυτό τον Τύπο, γιατί είναι υποχρεωμένα, είτε τους αρέσει ο Τύπος είτε όχι.

Επίσης η Ιστορία θέλει, ο πατέρας σου να ανήκει στην ομάδα των ανθρώπων που πάλεψε για αυτό, για να μπορεί να είναι ο Τύπος ελεύθερος και η αξία του να μην εξαρτάται από το ποιός θα τον γουστάρει και ποιός όχι, από το ποιός διορισμένος καρεκλοκένταυρος θα τον απαξιώσει.

Άκου λοιπόν φίλε του Γιάννου Παπαντωνίου, που έχεις μαζί του μεσοτοιχία σπίτι, ιστορία και όνειρα. Εμένα η γυναίκα μου δεν εισέπραξε από το Δημόσιο εκατομμύρια επειδή το ΚΕΕΛΠΝΟ βάφτισε τον καρκίνο «λοιμώδες νόσημα». Ούτε από τον ΕΟΦ. Ούτε εγώ εισέπραξα παρότι θα μπορούσα ως Μέσο Ενημέρωσης, γιατί δεν ήθελα να δώσω άλλοθι στη ρεμούλα.

Δεν χρησιμοποιώ τον Τύπο για τα συμφέροντά μου όπως εσύ την Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος για να βγάζει ανακοινώσεις για τη γυναίκα σου.

Φροντίζω στη ζωή μου να πορεύομαι με αξιοπρέπεια και προσήλωση στη δημοσιογραφία και αυτό δημιουργεί πολλούς εχθρούς ανάμεσα στους οποίους και εσύ. Αυτοί οι εχθροί συνήθως χάνουν, όχι γιατί έχω τη δική σου δύναμη που προέρχεται κατ’ ανάθεση από τα συμφέροντα αυτών που εξυπηρετείς αλλά γιατί λέω την αλήθεια.

Μπορώ να κυκλοφορώ στο δρόμο ανάμεσα σε δεξιούς, αριστερούς, αναρχικούς ακόμη και φασίστες και να κουβεντιάζω μαζί τους γιατί οι περισσότεροι αναγνωρίζουν αυτό που κάνω. Εσύ δεν μπορείς να πας ούτε για κατούρημα χωρίς τη συνοδεία δεκάδων αστυνομικών που σε προστατεύουν. Αναρωτιέσαι γιατί; Νομίζω πως όχι. Θεωρείς πως φταίνε οι άλλοι που δεν κατανοούν το μεγαλείο σου.

Στα 30 χρόνια που δουλεύω στο επάγγελμα, πέρασα από τα μεγαλύτερα Μέσα στην Ελλάδα και έχω την τύχη να αρθρογραφώ στους NEW YORK TIMES, στον Guardian, στην El Pais, στη Die Zeit και μερικές ακόμη από τις μεγαλύτερες εφημερίδες στον κόσμο, οι οποίες είτε είναι δεξιές είτε αριστερές, αναγνωρίζουν πως η δημοσιογραφία πρέπει να είναι κριτική και αληθινή.

Έχω επίσης δύο Διεθνή βραβεία δημοσιογραφίας για τον ίδιο λόγο. Δεν έριξα καμιά Τράπεζα έξω Γιάννη Στουρνάρα, δεν την ξεπούλησα και η πορεία μου είναι πορεία στην «ελεύθερη αγορά». Εν αντιθέσει με σένα που η πορεία σου είναι σε κρατικές θέσεις, κατ’ ανάθεση του Γιάννου Παπαντωνίου ή του Σημίτη.

Σέβομαι το ρόλο που έχω ως δημοσιογράφος και δεν δημοσιεύω τίποτα, είτε συμπαθώ κάποιον είτε τον αντιπαθώ, αν δεν έχω στοιχεία. Μπορείς να πεις ότι κάνεις το ίδιο; Πως στηρίζεις και στηρίζεσαι στο θεσμικό σου ρόλο; Πως δεν κάνεις κλεφτοπόλεμο ενάντια στην κυβερνητική οικονομική πολιτική που πρέπει να υπηρετείς θεσμικά; Πως δεν συμμετέχεις σε μυστικά δείπνα κουβεντιάζοντας το πότε θα γίνεις πρωθυπουργός από υπάλληλος;

Η δουλειά μου Γιάννη Στουρνάρα με αναγκάζει να συναναστρέφομαι όλες τις φάρες των ανθρώπων. Ακόμη και τρομοκράτες, απατεώνες, υπόδικους και κλέφτες. Η δική σου δουλειά Γιάννη Στουρνάρα γιατί σε αναγκάζει να συναναστρέφεσαι και να τραπεζώνεις τον Σταύρο Παπασταύρου που κοσμεί όλες τις λίστες του μαύρου χρήματος; Εσύ ένας εξ ορισμού διώκτης; Τι σε αναγκάζει να συναναστρέφεσαι την επίσης υπόδικη Σακελλαρίου; Περιποιεί τιμή αυτό για την Κεντρική Τράπεζα ρωτάω τώρα εγώ εσένα; Αλλά όπως είπες πετυχημένα θα καλείς αυτούς που θέλεις. Ακριβώς εκεί είναι το πρόβλημα, πως θέλεις αυτούς και όχι την εκλεγμένη κυβέρνηση.

Το κείμενο αυτό δεν έχει την έννοια να δείξει ποιός είναι ο καλός και ο κακός. Είναι απλώς ο θυμός για το θράσος σου και την απρέπειά σου να βρωμίσεις μέσα στην ίδια τη Βουλή ένα περιοδικό που τιμά το ρόλο του. Είναι η αγανάκτηση που προσβάλεις μια ομάδα δημοσιογράφων που δεν είναι ατσαλάκωτοι και γραβατωμένοι αλλά είναι σίγουρα πιο ικανοί και πετυχημένοι από σένα. Που δεν ψάχνουν παρένθετα πρόσωπα για να αγοράσουν βίλες, που πόνεσαν και μάτωσαν τα χρόνια της κρίσης ενώ θα μπορούσαν να τραπεζώνονται με σένα και με τους Πρετεντέρηδες.

Άκου λοιπόν Γιάννη Στουρνάρα. Μην μπερδεύεσαι. Η δύναμη που έχεις στα χέρια σου, που μπορεί να σκάσει μια Τράπεζα για να πιεστεί μια κυβέρνηση, δεν είναι δική σου. Είναι ενδεχομένως η δύναμη που παρέχεται σε αυτόν που προδίδει τη χώρα του και υπονομεύει τον ίδιο τον Υπουργό των Οικονομικών στις διαπραγματεύσεις.

Στην προσωπική σου αφήγηση μπορεί να είσαι ο εκλεκτός του Ντράγκι, ο πρωθυπουργός του μέλλοντος ή ο Διοικητής της ΕΚΤ. Στην πραγματικότητα δεν είσαι τίποτα άλλο από φίλος, εικόνα και ομοίωση του Γιάννου Παπαντωνίου και το πιθανότερο είναι να έχεις την τύχη του.

Μπορείς τώρα αν θες να κάνεις μήνυση, συμπορευόμενος με τους Βγενόπουλους και όσους άλλους το επιχείρησαν για να καλυφθείς στα μάτια του κόσμου. Αυτό δεν θα σε κάνει πετυχημένο, απλώς σε οδηγεί στον ίδιο δρόμο με αυτούς και πιθανόν στην ίδια τύχη.

Πάρε δικηγόρους και το Βορίδη με το Λοβέρδο που σε υπεράσπισαν επιτυχώς στην Επιτροπή. Η πραγματικότητα δεν αλλάζει ούτε η αλήθεια. Και αυτή την αλήθεια θα τη βάζω συνέχεια μπροστά σου με όση δύναμη έχω. Όχι του Ντράγκι, του κόσμου.

ΥΓ: Α, Γιάννη Στουρνάρα, να μη ξεχάσω να σου πω, βγάζω και εφημερίδα. Θα επιτρέπεται να τη διαβάσουν οι βουλευτές;

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique.
