Ένα νέο ξεκίνημα για την Επιτροπή Αλήθειας Δημοσίου Χρέους

Δεκατρείς Ευρωβουλευτές της Αριστεράς και των Πρασίνων υπέγραψαν στις Βρυξέλλες κείμενο στήριξης στη συνέχιση του έργου της Επιτροπής Αλήθειας για το Ελληνικό Δημόσιο Χρέος, που είχε συστήσει πέρυσι η πρώην πρόεδρος της Βουλής Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου.

Η υπογραφή του κειμένου έγινε με αφορμή εκδήλωση της Ομάδας της Ευρωπαϊκής Αριστεράς(GUE/NLG) στο Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο, την οποία παρακολούθησαν περισσότερα από 120 άτομα και στην οποία παρουσιάστηκε το μέχρι στιγμής έργο της Επιτροπής. Όπως χαρακτηριστικά δήλωσε ο συντονιστής του έργου της Επιτροπής Αλήθειας Ερίκ Τουσέν, ο οποίος ήταν ομιλητής στο ένα από τα δύο πάνελ της ημερίδας, «σπανίως έχω δει τόσο γεμάτη την αίθουσα αυτή».

Το κείμενο στήριξης στην Ελληνική Επιτροπή Αλήθειας για το Δημόσιο Χρέος υπογράφουν οι Έλληνες ευρωβουλευτές, Σοφία Σακοράφα (έχει ανεξαρτητοποιηθεί μετά την πρόσφατη διαφωνία της για τη συνθηκολόγηση του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ), Νίκος Χουντής (Λαϊκή Ενότητα), Κωνσταντίνα Κούνεβα (ΣΥΡΙΖΑ), ο Jean Luc Melenchon από το Μέτωπο της Αριστεράς στη Γαλλία, η Eva Joly από το κόμμα των Πρασίνων, η Barbara Spinelli και η Eleonora Forenza οι οποίες εξελέγησαν με τη Λίστα Τσίπρα στην Ιταλία,, ο Fabio De Masi από το Κόμμα της Αριστεράς (Die Linke) της Γερμανίας, η Marina Albiol από την Ενωμένη Αριστερά της Ισπανίας (Izquierda Unida), οι Miguel Urban και η Lola Sanchez από τους Podemos (Ισπανία), η Malin Bjork από το Κόμμα της Αριστεράς (Vänsterpartiet) της Σουηδίας και η Marie Christine Vergiat από το Μέτωπο της Αριστεράς της Γαλλίας.

Στο κείμενο στήριξης επισημαίνεται ότι «αναγνωρίζοντας την πολύτιμη συμβολή της και επιβεβαιώνοντας ότι ο λογιστικός έλεγχος του δημοσίου χρέους υπηρετεί ένα θεμελιώδες κυριαρχικό δικαίωμα των λαών, που θα έπρεπε να τηρείται και να γίνεται σεβαστό από όλες τις Κυβερνήσεις και Αρχές-Θεσμούς, στηρίζουμε τη συνέχιση των εργασιών της Ελληνικής Επιτροπής Αλήθειας Δημοσίου Χρέους».

Η Επιτροπή είναι πάντα εδώ…

Την Τρίτη (01/03) σε συνέντευξη τύπου στις Βρυξέλλες μετά την ημερίδα με θέμα «Αναδιάρθρωση του Χρέους - Ξανακτίζοντας τη Δημοκρατία» που οργάνωσε η Ευρωπαϊκή Ομάδα της Αριστεράς (GUE/NLG), με πρωτοβουλία των ευρωβουλευτών Σοφίας Σακοράφα, Νίκου Χουντή και Jean Luc Melenchon, η Επιτροπή Αλήθειας ανακοίνωσε τη συνέχιση του έργου της, σε πείσμα του «σαμποτάζ» από τον σημερινό πρόεδρο της Βουλής Νίκο Βούτση αλλά και την ηγεσία του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ. Ανακοίνωσε ακόμη τη μετεξέλιξή της σε Σωματείο, το οποίο θα προχωρήσει σύντομα στην σύγκλιση γενικής συνέλευσης με δυνατότητα συμμετοχής σε αυτήν, πέραν όσων στήριξαν με οποιοδήποτε τρόπο το έργο της στη διάρκεια της θητείας ως προέδρου της Βουλής της κ. Κωνσταντοπούλου, και όσων επιπλέον ενδιαφέρονται για την προσπάθεια συνέχισης της πρωτοβουλίας για λογιστικό έλεγχο του ελληνικού δημόσιου χρέους.

Μετά την εκδήλωση πραγματοποιήθηκε η πρώτη επίσημη συνεδρίαση της Επιτροπής Αλήθειας Δημοσίου Χρέους από τον Σεπτέμβριο, με συμμετοχή του Ελληνικού και Διεθνούς δυναμικού της, μέσα στο Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο.

Σε συνέντευξη τύπου που έδωσαν η ευρωβουλευτής Σοφία Σακοράφα, η πρώην πρόεδρος της Βουλής Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου και ο επιστημονικός συντονιστής του έργου της Επιτροπής Ερίκ Τουσέν, τονίστηκε ότι «τα μέλη της Επιτροπής, λαμβάνοντας υπ’ όψιν το καθεστώς δίωξης και υπονόμευσης-εξαφάνισης του έργου της από το σημερινό Πρόεδρο της Βουλής και τις σημερινές κυβερνητικές αρχές, αποφάσισαν να παραμείνουν πιστά προς το καθήκον τους έναντι του Ελληνικού λαού, να μην υποκύψουν στον βίαιο τερματισμό των εργασιών της Επιτροπής, και να συνεχίσουν με όποια μέσα μπορούν το έργο της Επιτροπής. Έτσι, ελήφθη η απόφαση η Επιτροπή να μετατραπεί σε Σωματείο και στην πανηγυρική αυτή συνεδρίαση υπογράφηκε το Καταστατικό του Σωματείου και εξελέγη ομόφωνα το πρώτο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο, αποτελούμενο από τους: Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου, Ερίκ Τουσέν, Γιώργο Κασσιμάτη, Λεωνίδα Βατικιώτη, Χριστίνα Λασκαρίδη, Σταύρο Τομπάζο, Δέσποινα Σπανού, Θάνο Κονταργύρη, Ηλία Μπαντέκα.

Η Ευρωβουλευτής Σοφία Σακοράφα αναλαμβάνει, όπως και στην προηγούμενη περίοδο, τις σχέσεις της Επιτροπής με το Ευρωκοινοβούλιο και τα Κοινοβούλια των λοιπών Ευρωπαϊκών Χωρών. Ο Ευρωβουλευτής Νίκος Χουντής αναλαμβάνει την επικοινωνία της Επιτροπής με τους Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή και λοιπούς Ευρωπαϊκούς Θεσμούς.

Τα ιδρυτικά μέλη

Στα ιδρυτικά μέλη του Σωματείου περιέχονται τα περισσότερα μέλη της Επιτροπής από Ελλάδα και ολόκληρο τον κόσμο. Ενδεικτικά, συμμετείχαν στη συνεδρίαση και υπέγραψαν το Καταστατικό της Επιτροπής, ως ιδρυτικά μέλη, οι:

Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου, Σοφία Σακοράφα, Ερίκ Τουσέν, Γιώργος Κασσιμάτης, Cephas Lumina (Καθηγητής, πρ. Ανεξάρτητος Εμπειρογνώμονας ΟΗΕ για το Χρέος), Diego Borja (πρ. Υπουργός Οικονομικών Ισημερινού, πρ. Διοικητής Κεντρικής Τράπεζας Ισημερινού), Maria Lucia Fattorelli (πρ. ελεγκτής Υπ. Οικονομικών Βραζιλίας, επικεφαλής Πρωτοβουλίας Λογιστικού Ελέγχου Πολιτών Βραζιλίας), Patric Saurin (Τραπεζικός Υπάλληλος, Συνδικαλιστής, Εκπρόσωπος Πρωτοβουλίας Λογιστικού Ελέγχου Πολιτών Γαλλίας), Michel Husson (Οικονομολόγος, Στατιστικολόγος, Ίδρυμα Οικονομικών και Κοινωνικών Ερευνών, Γαλλία), Σταύρος Τομπάζος (Καθηγητής Διεθνούς Πολιτικής Οικονομίας Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου), Ηλίας Μπαντέκας (Καθηγητής Διεθνούς Δικαίου Brunnel University), Χριστίνα Λασκαρίδη (υποψήφια Διδάκτωρ), Δέσποινα Σπανού, Θάνος Κονταργύρης (ATTAC), Γιάννης Παπαδόπουλος, Σπύρος Μαρκέτος (Α.Π.Θ), Λεωνίδας Βατικιώτης, Renaud Vivien (μέλος της CADTM) Olivier Bonfond (συνδικαλιστής, μέλος της Πρωτοβουλίας Λογιστικού Ελέγχου Πολιτών Βελγίου), Μωυσής Λίτσης, Daniel Albarracin, Daniel Munevar, Πέτρος Μηλιαράκης, καθώς και νέα μέλη που είχαν προσκληθεί και συμμετείχαν στη συνεδρίαση.

Την σύμπραξη και συμπαράστασή τους στη συνέχιση του έργου της Επιτροπής δήλωσαν τα μέλη που δεν κατάφεραν να βρίσκονται στη συνεδρίαση και, ειδικότερα, ο καθηγητής Olivier de Schutter, μέλος του Οικονομικού και Κοινωνικού Συμβουλίου ΟΗΕ, η καθηγήτρια Margot Salomon, που πρόσφατα φιλοξένησε στο LSE (London School of Economics) εκδήλωση για την Επιτροπή Αλήθειας με ομιλήτρια τη Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου, ο καθηγητής Άρης Καζάκος, η Καθηγήτρια Ozlem Onaran, o Γιώργος Μητραλιάς, ο Sergi Cutillas και άλλοι.

Το Τραπεζικό Σύστημα στο Στόχαστρο της Επιτροπής

Η λειτουργία των εγχώριων Τραπεζών αλλά και της ΕΚΤ θα απασχολήσουν τις επόμενες εργασίες της Επιτροπής Αλήθειας, ενώ προγραμματίσθηκε για τις αρχές του καλοκαιριού η επόμενη συνεδρίασή της στην Αθήνα.

Η Επιτροπή Αλήθειας θα διερευνήσει το πώς μετασχηματίστηκε ο ελληνικός τραπεζικός τομέας από τα μέσα του ’90 ενόψει της ελληνικής ένταξης στην ΟΝΕ, πως με όχημα τη μείωση των επιτοκίων μετά την ένταξη της Ελλάδας στο ευρώ, οι τράπεζες οδήγησαν τα ελληνικά νοικοκυριά στην υπερχρέωση και τη δημιουργία χρηματοπιστωτικής φούσκας, πώς η κατάρρευση της Lehman Brothers το 2008 ενέτεινε την τραπεζική κρίση στην Ελλάδα και πώς στην τελευταία ανακεφαλαιοποίηση των τραπεζών, ευνοήθηκε σκανδαλωδώς η εξαγορά τραπεζικών μετοχών από ιδιώτες επενδυτές (funds) την ώρα που αποκλείστηκαν Έλληνες επενδυτές λόγω και της ισχύος των κεφαλαιακών ελέγχων (capital controls).

Το πόρισμα της Επιτροπής Αλήθειας για το Δημόσιο Χρέος όσον αφορά το ελληνικό τραπεζικό σύστημα εκτιμάται ότι θα είναι έτοιμο για δημοσιοποίηση στα μέσα Μαΐου με αρχές Ιουνίου, οπότε θα δοθεί και στη δημοσιότητα με αφορμή την επέτειο από τον ένα χρόνο της δημοσιοποίησης του προκαταρκτικού πορίσματος για το ελληνικό δημόσιο χρέος τον Ιούνιο του 2015.

Κεντρικοί ομιλητές, στον πρώτο κύκλο της ημερίδας που οργάνωσε η Ευρωπαϊκή Ομάδα της Αριστεράς (GUE/NLG) ήταν η Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου, ο Επιστημονικός Συντονιστής της Επιτροπής Αλήθειας Εric Toussaint, ο καθηγητής και μέλος της Επιτροπής Αλήθειας Γιώργος Κασιμάτης, και ο κοινωνιολόγος Benjamin Lemoine. Στη δεύτερη ενότητα τα μέλη της Επιτροπής Αλήθειας Cephas Lumina, Maria Lucia Fatorelli και Diego Borja. Τη συζήτηση συντόνισαν οι ευρωβουλευτές Νίκος Χουντής και Σοφία Σακοράφα, ενώ παρέστησαν πολλοί ευρωβουλευτές της Αριστεράς και των Πρασίνων.

Μετά την ολοκλήρωση της διήμερης συνεδρίασης της Επιτροπής, η Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου και ο Ερίκ Τουσέν μετέβησαν στη Λιέγη, όπου τους υποδέχθηκε ο Δήμαρχος της Πόλης και στη συνέχεια συμμετείχαν σε μία ζωντανή συζήτηση στο Πανεπιστήμιο, σε μία ασφυκτικά γεμάτη αίθουσα με φοιτητές, κατοίκους της Λιέγης και πολλά μέλη της ελληνικής κοινότητας, με διοργανώτρια την CADTM.
