Νέα βίντεο αμφισβητούν όσα λέγονται στα ΜΜΕ για τα σύνορα της Βενεζουέλας

Η εικόνα ενός φορτηγού με ανθρωπιστική βοήθεια το οποίο καίγεται στα σύνορα Κολομβίας – Βενεζουέλας κάνει τα τελευταία 24ωρα το γύρο του κόσμου σαν απόδειξη ότι κυβερνητικές δυνάμεις βάζουν φωτιά στα φορτηγά που επιχειρούν να στείλουν στη χώρα οι κυβερνήσεις των ΗΠΑ και της Κολομβίας.

Νέα video όμως που παρουσιάζουν οι δημοσιογράφοι Μαξ Μπλούμενθαλ και Νταν Κοέν δείχνουν μια διαφορετική εικόνα. Στα βίντεο εμφανίζονται οπαδοί της δεξιάς αντιπολίτευσης να προετοιμάζουν δεκάδες βόμβες μολότοφ τις οποίες αρχίζουν να εκσφενδονίζουν προς το σημείο όπου βρίσκονται τα φορτηγά.

Από τα βίντεο δεν είναι σαφές εάν το φορτηγό που τυλίχθηκε στις φλόγες είχε δεχθεί εκείνη τη στιγμή επίθεση από μολότοφ. Η κυβέρνηση της Βενεζουέλας πάντως είχε αποδώσει από την πρώτη στιγμή την φωτιά σε προβοκάτσια της δεξιάς αντιπολίτευσης.



Και οι δυο δημοσιογράφοι αποκαλούν τους διαδηλωτές quarimberos όπως έγιναν γνωστοί από τα οδοφράγματα που έστηναν σε εύπορες συνοικίες του Καράκας κατά τη διάρκεια των συγκρούσεων με την αστυνομία. Σε αρκετά από τα καρίμπας είχαν σημειωθεί βίαια επεισόδια καθώς οπαδοί της δεξιάς αντιπολίτευσης έφτασαν να κάψουν ζωντανούς ανθρώπους που πίστευαν ότι είναι οπαδοί του προέδρου Νικολάς Μαδούρο.

Από την πλευρά του ο Διεθνής Ερυθρός Σταυρός, ο οποίος μαζί με τον ΟΗΕ καταδίκασαν από την πρώτη στιγμή το σχέδιο των ΗΠΑ για την παραβίαση των συνόρων της Βενεζουέλας με πρόσχημα την παροχή ανθρωπιστικής βοήθειας, καταγγέλλει ότι άγνωστοι χρησιμοποιούν τα διακριτικά του στα σύνορα Κολομβίας – Βενεζουέλας και τους καλεί να τα απομακρύνουν αμέσως.


Την ίδια στιγμή ο αυτοανακυρηχθέντας πρόεδρος της Βενεζουέλας Χουάν Γκουαϊδό εντείνει τις πιέσεις για την έναρξη στρατιωτικών επιχειρήσεων εναντίον της χώρας του σημειώνοντας ότι «όλα τα σενάρια πρέπει να είναι πάνω στο τραπέζι».

Από την πλευρά του ο Αμερικανός γερουσιαστής Μάρκο Ρούμπιο που θεωρείται ο «αρχιτέκτονας» της πολιτικής Τραμπ απέναντι στη Βενεζουέλα παρουσίασε στον λογαριασμό του στο twitter φωτογραφίες από την στιγμή της εκτέλεσης του πρώην ηγέτη της Λιβύης Μοαμάρ Καντάφι, μετά την αμερικανική εισβολή του 2011. H φωτογραφία θεωρήθηκε από πολλούς σαν ανοιχτό κάλεσμα για τη δολοφονία του Μαδούρο.
