Η Ισραηλινή προπαγάνδα και η ταμπέλα του "αντι-Σημιτισμού"

Όταν Ισραηλινές δυνάμεις επιτέθηκαν στο Μαβί Μαρμαρά το 2010, εκτέλεσαν 9 ακτιβιστές εν ψυχρώ σύμφωνα με τα ιατροδικαστικά πορίσματα. Υπήρχαν 700 επιβαίνοντες, άοπλοι ακτιβιστές που προσπάθησαν να φτάσουν στη Γάζα για να μοιράσουν ανθρωπιστικό υλικό.

Ο μηχανισμός προπαγάνδας του Ισραήλ ήταν παρόμοιος, ο τρόπος που το Ισραήλ προσπάθησε να στήσει μια "ομπρέλα" για να μπλοκάρει οποιαδήποτε πληροφορία σχετικά με το τι πραγματικά συνέβη. Οι ακτιβιστές και οι δημοσιογράφοι της αποστολής κρατήθηκαν στις Ισραηλινές φυλακές 2 με 3 μέρες τη στιγμή που η διεθνής κοινότητα είχε το βλέμμα στραμμένο στο δραματικό αυτό γεγονός, ακριβώς για να εμποδίσουν οποιονδήποτε να δώσει πληροφορίες σχετικά με τη βαρβαρότητα της Ισραηλινής επέμβασης και τις εν ψυχρώ εκτελέσεις.

Το Ισραήλ εφαρμόζει παρόμοια τακτική σε μεγάλο βαθμό, ειδικά όσον αφορά τις ΗΠΑ, αν δει κάποιος το είδος των πληροφοριών που αναπαράγονται από τα ΜΜΕ. Ο μέσος τηλεθεατής θα καταλάβει ότι το Ισραήλ έχει δικαίωμα στην αυτο-άμυνα απέναντι σε μερικές αυτοσχέδιες ρουκέτες, ενώ δεν θα λάβει καθόλου υπόψη ότι εκατοντάδες Παλαιστίνιοι σκοτώνονται, στην πλειοψηφία τους παιδιά, γυναίκες και γενικά άμαχοι, από τις Ισραηλινές δυνάμεις.

Οι κυβερνήσεις των χωρών στις οποίες γίνονται μαζικές διαδηλώσεις κατά του Ισραήλ υιοθετούν γενικά την πολιτική του. Μέσω της πολιτικής αυτής, το Ισραήλ ουσιαστικά δαιμονοποιεί κάθε κριτική εναντίον του, εξομοιώνοντας την με τον αντι-Σημιτισμό. Αυτή είναι μια πάγια τακτική που εφαρμόζεται εδώ και πολλά χρόνια. Οποιοσδήποτε καταδικάζει την γενοκτονία των Παλαιστινίων είναι ταυτόχρονα και αρνητής του Ολοκαυτώματος. Αυτή είναι η ακραία εκδοχή του επιχειρήματος που αναπαράγεται με διάφορους τρόπους.

Υπάρχει μια προσπάθεια περιθωριοποίησης των δημοσιογράφων και ακαδημαϊκών που ασκούν κριτική στο Ισραήλ από συγκεκριμένα κέντρα. Στις ΗΠΑ αυτό είναι πιο έντονο, μπορούμε να δούμε πολλούς ακαδημαϊκούς που μένουν στο περιθώριο. Αν και είναι πιο δύσκολο κάτι τέτοιο στη Ελλάδα, ωστόσο συμβαίνει και εδώ.

Κατά τη διάρκεια των τελευταίων μηνών, ήταν λες και προσπαθούσαν να προετοιμάσουν την κοινή γνώμη, με τα ΜΜΕ να επικεντρώνονται στο επίπεδο του αντι-Σημιτισμού στην Ελλάδα, βασιζόμενα σε στοιχεία που απέχουν αρκετά από την πραγματικότητα.*

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’
