MH-17 flight: Another tragic incident to be exploited

by system failure

It's hard to tell what's more terrifying: The rush of the West to exploit anything that can drag Russia into a warm incident, or, its hypocrisy concerning the loss of so many lives?

Within 24 hours from the tragic MH-17 flight, US officials rushed to align with the Ukrainian government, based on "evidence" that came out remarkably fast. While in other cases, the Western hypocrites "recommend sangfroid" and suggest to every direction not to rush to make conclusions, this is a case where they completely violate their own "calm down" policy as advice to others.

No matter what the findings will show eventually on who is responsible for shooting down the Malaysian Airlines plane, if there will be any clear conclusion, the Western reactions show that the US and their allies are anxious to provoke Putin. One of the first, expected reactions, was from Hillary Clinton who rushed to blame pro-Russians and Putin. It appears that the neocons are pressing Obama to take action and they exploit such incidents to increase pressure. This explains to a great extent why he receives ceaselessly fire inside the US, as he tries to end his term with "clean hands".

The way that some in Washington behave, shows that the "usual suspects" responsible for the old and the new cold war, are pulling one more time the strings behind them. Another fact, however, is that the MH-17 flight incident gave the opportunity to the Western mainstream media to drop Gaza for a while, just when the Israeli forces proceeded in a ground invasion. It was a relief actually for them since they are not obliged to be occupied exclusively with Gaza anymore.
