US hegemony and its perils

Report by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China   Part 7 - Conclusion   While a just cause wins its champion wide support, an unjust one condemns its pursuer to be an outcast. The hegemonic, domineering, and bullying practices of using strength to intimidate the weak, taking from others by force and subterfuge, and playing zero-sum games are exerting grave harm.    The historical trends of peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit are unstoppable. The United States has been overriding truth with its power and trampling justice to serve self-interest. These unilateral, egoistic and regressive hegemonic practices have drawn growing, intense criticism and opposition from the international community. Countries need to respect each other and treat each other as equals. Big countries should behave in a manner befitting their status and take the lead in pursuing a new model of state-to-state relations featuring dialogue and partnership, not confrontation

Day 1479: Julian Assange still in prison and under slow-motion execution by the Anglo-American imperialist criminals

failed evolution   On 11 April 2019, the Ecuadorian government of traitor Lenin Moreno, invited the Metropolitan Police into the Ecuadorian embassy in London, and they arrested Julian Assange . Since then, Assange is kept in Belmarsh high security prison in London, without actual charges.   The real reason world's number one political prisoner is still kept in this high security prison, is because he exposed horrendous war crimes carried out by the US imperialists and their allies.   The ruthless Western imperialist regime wants to punish the No1 real journalist in the world and make him an example for any Whistleblower or real journalist who will attempt to expose its big crimes in the future.   And the Anglo-American axis has now become officially a fascist coalition , framed by the rest of its Western pets. UK's Home Secretary Priti Patel, one of the most ruthless ever, decided to extradite Julian Assange to US. No surprise of course. The only question we had in mind is

Jeffrey Sachs on China's "historic" push for multipolar world to end US domination

Democracy Now!   China is taking an increasingly assertive role in world affairs, helping to broker a restoration of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, offering a 12-point peace plan for Ukraine, and strengthening its relationships with European and Latin American powers.    Last week, China continued its diplomatic outreach by offering to hold talks between Israel and Palestine.    " China doesn't want the United States to be the preeminent power. It wants to live alongside the United States, " says economist Jeffrey Sachs, director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University and president of the U.N. Sustainable Development Solutions Network. He has also served as adviser to three U.N. secretaries-general and currently serves as a sustainable development solutions advocate under Secretary-General António Guterres. His latest article is headlined "The Need for a New US Foreign Policy."

European antiwar protests gain strength as NATO’s Ukraine proxy war escalates

Europeans are storming the streets in unprecedented numbers to protest NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine and their own declining living standards. The Grayzone has covered demonstrations and interviewed protest leaders in several countries since the war erupted.   by Stavroula Pabst and Max Blumenthal   Part 6 - Greek general strikes set the stage for antiwar protests   The Greek rallies against NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine have capitalized on the momentum of labor actions against the cost of living crisis. Why is the US government targeting Black Socialists?

The Jimmy Dore Show   Four members of the black socialist Uhuru Movement in St. Petersburg, Florida, have been indicted by the FBI. In what appears to be a clear violation of the first amendment, they're accused of “sowing discord” while doing the bidding of the Russian government in a campaign to spread propaganda and influence local elections.

Brazil’s President tells world to abandon US Dollar!

The Jimmy Dore Show   Brazil’s newly re-elected President Lula da Silva has hit the ground running, recently traveling to China where he called for the international community to abandon the US Dollar as the default currency of global trade. In truth, this process is already underway but Lula puts himself at great personal risk by promoting de-dollarization.

Biden’s words on Russia & China come back to haunt him!

The Jimmy Dore Show   Back in 1997 then-Senator Joe Biden bragged about telling off some Russian diplomats who complained about NATO expansion, implying that they might have to turn to China. And so Biden told them “Good luck” and added they might try to befriend Iran too.

Leaked documents expose US-NATO Ukraine war plans

Classified Pentagon documents containing information about US and NATO plans for a Ukrainian offensive and key details of the ongoing war have leaked. And the Biden administration is reportedly demanding they be scrubbed from the internet. Is there a hidden agenda behind the leak?  by Alexander Rubinstein Part 2 - Leaked docs: Ukrainian killed in action outnumber Russians 4:1 Perhaps the most notable piece of information contained in the leaked documents relates to military death tolls, with Ukrainian and Russian losses estimated at about a 4:1 ratio. According to one document, 71,500 Ukrainian troops have been killed in action. That figure is close to the 100,000 KIA’s cited by EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in a November 2022 speech, before her comments were retracted. It also tracks closely with statements by one of Ukrainian President Vlodymyr Zelensky’s top advisers, Mykhailo Podolyak, who told the BBC in June of last year that Ukraine was losing between 100 and 200
