Dear Americans: You do have a choice ...

Between Genocide Kamala and the Orange Clown, Jill Stein is the answer by system failure   We live in a time of broad institutional deflection . In the collapsing US empire, Democracy has become an empty concept, being used only as a decorating facade by the corrupted bipartisan authoritarianism.   The democratic decline is so blatant that even the mainstream mechanisms of this authoritarian regime admit that the US voters have to choose the 'lesser of two evils'.   And the current US election depicts more perfectly than ever this terrible dilemma.    On the one hand, you have an unpopular less-than-mediocre puppet, promoted by the liberal elites, only because she is the most suitable to help them weaponize identity politics, even more than they did with the Obama presidency.     On the other, the (now well known) awful demagogue, put in a power position by the capitalist faction that is now in war with the liberal class, in a peculiar capit...

It's over: corporate neoliberal pseudo-Left takes over Sanders' "Our Revolution" - Time for a third, grassroots party

globinfo freexchange   Back to zero. Back to the corrupted, failed, obsolete, destructive neoliberalism. US corporate establishment played every dirty game to get rid of Bernie Sanders and take over Justice Democrats and Our Revolution. They did it.    The rebranding of Our Revolution into "pragmatic progressives" is all you need to know to understand that the corporate power has eventually crushed the progressive momentum. The neoliberal component of the corporate America, the Clintonian machine and the establishment of the Democratic party is actually giving the finger to the progressive movement. It tells progressives to sit down and be quiet. No significant change is going to come.   The message is brought to you by the most official channels of the neoliberal establishment:                                  Ra...

Nevada to become officially the testing field for the 21st century corporate feudalism!

globinfo freexchange   An early February short report by Associated Press passed rather unnoticed. Yet, it could be probably considered the best proof for what this blog claims for many years now. In short, the Western economic model is about to be transformed into something even worse than capitalism, towards a kind of 21st century corporate feudalism. And the US state of Nevada is about to become the testing field for such a transition in the most official way! As the AP reported [emphasis added]: Planned legislation to establish new business areas in Nevada would allow technology companies to effectively form separate local governments. Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak announced a plan to launch so-called Innovation Zones in Nevada to jumpstart the state’s economy by attracting technology firms, Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Wednesday. The zones would permit companies with large areas of land to form governments carrying the same authority as counties, including the...

George Monbiot got it half-right: There is a capitalist civil war, but not exactly the kind of war he describes

by system failure  Since at least July 2019, we were supporting the idea that Brexit is primarily the result of a capitalist civil war. Very few people (mostly in social media), were eager to accept this theory, while several were even mocking it as some kind of crazy conspiracy theory.    What puzzled us most, was the fact that even people from the global real Left were completely ignoring the capitalist-civil-war factor in Brexit equation during public debates. Many of them were seeing Brexit mainly as an angry response by the UK working class against the political and financial elites. We thought it would take forever to find someone from the Left to support the capitalist-civil-war theory.   Finally, at last, it was George Monbiot who spoke clearly about a capitalist civil war. And not only that. He correctly supported (as you can hear in the beginning of his analysis) that " The only way really to understand Brexit is as the outcome of a civil war within capita...
