Jeremy Corbyn: Leaked documents prove NHS 'on the table' in US trade talks

The Labour leader produced 451 pages of previously-redacted notes which he said proved Boris Johnson was lying when he claimed the health service was not " up for sale ". The document provided details of six meetings over a two-year period between UK and American officials.  Mr Corbyn said it " pulls back the curtain " on Conservative plans to give American corporations access to the NHS once the UK leaves the EU. He said: " We have now got evidence that under Boris Johnson the NHS is on the table and will be up for sale. He tried to cover it up in a secret agenda and today it has been exposed. " The Labour leader said the cost of medicines has been discussed, adding that “ lives will be put at risk ” as a result of longer patents for drugs making them more expensive to patients. OPCW management accused of doctoring Syrian chemical weapons report

On November, 23, Wikileaks published an e-mail, sent by a member of an OPCW fact-finding mission to Syria to his superiors, in which he expresses his gravest concern over intentional bias introduced to a redacted version of the report he co-authored. The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons sent a team of experts to investigate allegations that a chemical attack took place in the Syrian city of Douma on the 7th of April 2018. The author of the e-mail was a member of that team and claims the redacted preliminary version of the report, misrepresents the facts he and his colleagues discovered on the ground. He says this misrepresentation was achieved by selective omission, introducing a bias which undermines the credibility of the report. Further it is claimed that crucial facts, that

The fascist neoliberal regime slowly kills Julian Assange

More than 60 doctors have written an open letter saying they fear Julian Assange’s health is so bad that the WikiLeaks founder could die inside a top-security British jail. The 48-year-old Australian is still fighting a US bid to extradite him from Britain on charges filed under the Espionage Act that could see him given a sentence of up to 175 years in a US prison. In the letter to the British home secretary, Priti Patel, the doctors called for Assange to be moved from Belmarsh prison in southeast London to a university teaching hospital. They based their assessment on “ harrowing eyewitness accounts ” of his 21 October court appearance in London and a 1 November report by Nils Melzer, the United Nations special rapporteur on torture. The independent UN rights expert said Assange’s “ continued exposure to arbitrariness and abuse may soon end up costing his life ”. Antisemitism claims have one goal: To stop Jeremy Corbyn winning power

The Jewish community’s alienation from Labour has been years in the making - but it is Johnson's Conservatives who have embraced hostility to minorities Jonathan Cook Part 1 A supposed antisemitism crisis in Britain’s Labour party since Jeremy Corbyn became leader has erupted back into the headlines. This time barely any effort has been made to conceal the fact that the accusations relate to the "danger” that Corbyn could soon win power, with Britain gearing up for a general election in less than a month. This week Britain’s chief rabbi, Ephraim Mirvis, added his voice to argue in the Times newspaper that the opposition leader was “ unfit for high office ” - the first time a chief rabbi has ever sought to interfere in the outcome of a general election. Calling Corbyn “ mendacious ” and warning that the election result would serve as a measure of Britain’s “ moral compass ”, he urged the public to “ vote with their conscience ”.  His intervention followed
