Hasta siempre,Fidel! 360 video shows Cubans paying last respects to Castro

Tens of thousands of Cubans lined up in central Havana on Monday to pay their last respects to Fidel Castro, with RT’s Maria Finoshina joining the procession. The two-day commemoration at the Jose Marti Memorial on the north side of Havana’s Plaza de la Revolucion started with a 21-gun salute. Inside the memorial, people walked past a portrait of a young Fidel dressed in military uniform as we saw the former Cuban president’s medals all decorated in white flowers. Castro, who led the Cuban revolution in 1959 and was in charge of the country until 2008, died at the age of 90 on Friday. But even after ceding power to his brother Raul, Fidel was still considered the most significant moral authority in Cuba. At the end of an official nine-day period of mourning, Castro’s ashes will be interred at the Santa Ifigenia cemetery in Santiago de Cuba on December 4 after the mourning ends. https://www.rt.com/news/368616-cuba-fidel-commemoration-360/

Erdogan's proxy war becomes direct

Claims that Turkish forces are in Syria to end Assad's rule Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the Turkish Army entered Syria to end the rule of President Bashar Assad, whom he accused of terrorism and causing the deaths of thousands. “ We entered [Syria] to end the rule of the tyrant al-Assad who terrorizes with state terror. [We didn’t enter] for any other reason, ” the Turkish president said at the first Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform Symposium in Istanbul, as quoted by Hurriyet daily. Erdogan said that Turkey has no territorial claims in Syria, but instead wants to hand over power to the Syrian population, adding that Ankara is seeking to restore “justice.” “ Why did we enter? We do not have an eye on Syrian soil. The issue is to provide lands to their real owners. That is to say we are there for the establishment of justice, ” he said. He went on to say that “in his estimation” almost 1 million people have died in the conflict

Part 4 “ Pre-determined profits” and “easy withdrawals” John Price a 69-year-old from Rutland who has cancer, says he also fell victim to BinaryBook’s sales tactics. He says he made an initial investment of £250 after being cold-called in January 2015, and went on to invest about £8,000 more. BinaryBook sent him documents promising “pre-determined profits” and “easy withdrawals”. He withdrew about £2,500 earlier this year but his remaining investment did not do what he hoped. When he saw his account balance stood at just £3,500 last month, he tried to cash out. Emails seen by the Bureau show Price’s account manager, who called himself a “senior broker and trading group manager” refused to let Price withdraw his money unless he accepted his call. When the pair finally spoke the broker persuaded Price to continue trading. “ I told him that I couldn’t afford to lose the £3,500 but he assured me that the trades were safe and that there was a 700% profit due to

Cuban doctors humiliate capitalism

by Aris Chatzistefanou There is a certain word that neolibs around the world never mention in the many comments they make about Fidel Castro’s death – and that word is “embargo”. Their ability to talk about a country that has survived the cruelest and longest economic embargo of the last centuries without even mentioning that defining characteristic is beyond believe. Despite the harsh conditions, Cuba’s health sector still defies their world views about free market, and that thought makes them feel the ground shake under their feet. For decades now, Cuba has lower infant mortality rates than the American superpower, and that fact alone is enough to blow away any arguments for the currently dominant economic system. Today, Cuba stands at the forefront of many medical research areas. While thousand of poor American citizens have to wait in lines from 5 in the morning in order to see an ophthalmologist, Cuban doctors have performed up to 3 mi
