Breaking Points   Mehdi Hasan on releasing BBC's censored Gaza documentary.

Global firms ‘profiting from genocide’ in Gaza, says UN rapporteur

The UN special rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories has called for sanctions and an arms embargo on Israel and for global corporations to be held accountable for “profiting from genocide” in Gaza. A report by Francesca Albanese to the UN Human Rights Council on Thursday points to the deep involvement of companies from around the world in supporting Israel during its 21-month onslaught in Gaza. “While life in Gaza is being obliterated and the West Bank is under escalating assault, this report shows why Israel’s genocide continues: because it is lucrative for many,” the report says.   More:   https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/jul/03/global-firms-profiting-israel-genocide-gaza-united-nations-rapporteur

If you supply weapons to somebody that is accused of acts of genocide, then you yourself become complicit in those acts as well. Here’s why I am calling for an independent public inquiry into the UK’s role in one of the greatest crimes of our time. pic.twitter.com/rSYkMwh63g — Jeremy Corbyn (@jeremycorbyn) July 3, 2025

100 BBC Insiders Pen Letter Accusing UK Broadcaster Of Being “PR For Israel”

More than 100 BBC employees have written to director general Tim Davie to complain about the corporation becoming a mouthpiece for Israel. The open letter, which was signed by a further 300 media professionals including Miriam Margolyes, Charles Dance, and Mike Leigh, represents a deepening of the crisis engulfing the BBC over its coverage of the war in Gaza. It follows widespread revulsion over the BBC platforming Glastonbury Festival act Bob Vylan, a punk band who chanted “death to the IDF” on a live iPlayer stream.   The letter savaged the BBC for its perceived failure to reflect the reality of the situation in Gaza and argued that reporting “falls short” of editorial standards. “All too often it has felt that the BBC has been performing PR for the Israeli government and military. This should be a cause of great shame and concern for everyone at the BBC,” the letter said.   Full report: https://deadline.com/2025/07/bbc-letter-israel-pr-charles-dance-miriam-margolyes-12...

DO NOT FORGET: Western Media Is Complicit in Gaza Genocide Through Silence and Distortion

Middle East Eye   Speaking at the "Genocide in Gaza" conference, British-Israeli journalist Rachel Shabi delivered a scathing critique of Western media’s role in shaping public perception of Israel’s assault on Gaza. She argued that mainstream outlets have not only failed to report the ongoing atrocities with accuracy and integrity, but have actively enabled the war through omission, distortion, and dehumanisation.   Shabi drew attention to the stark disparity in media empathy, readily extended to Ukrainian and Israeli victims, yet consistently denied to Palestinians. She condemned the press for erasing context, sanitising Israeli violence, and failing to hold Israel accountable for banning international journalists from Gaza, all while discrediting the work of local Palestinian reporters.    Ultimately, Shabi warned that these failures have helped normalise a “collapse of shared humanity,” undermining the principles of universal justice by forcing audiences to decid...

Government To Monitor You Through ELECTRONIC TATTOOS!

The Jimmy Dore Show                            This pill has a small chip inside of it with a switch. It also has what amounts to an inside out potato battery. When you swallow it, the acids in your stomach serve as the electrolyte and they power it up. And the switch goes on and off and it creates an 18-bit ECG-like signal in your body and essentially your entire body becomes your authentication token.

How the EU is using anti-Russia sanctions to criminalise journalism

The EU sanctioned me and my media outlet for covering Palestine protests in Germany. It’s part of Europe’s growing authoritarianism and militarism, cloaked in language of fighting disinformation and defending democracy.   by Hüseyin Dogru   Part 5 - How the EU built a censorship regime   The EU has spent the past decade building the legal scaffolding for this crackdown – without a whisper of dissent from Europe’s liberal media or civil society. Warmongers have always used a bogeyman to co-opt its liberal bourgeoisie for its wars on domestic and foreign adversaries, from Communists, to Saddam Hussein, to migrants, to Muammar Gaddafi. Today nothing shakes liberals’ loyalty to their democratic principles faster than one word: Russia. Craftily situating its disinformation strategy as part of its fight against a fictitious Russian threat, the EU’s foreign policy arm, the EEAS, has gradually reframed dissident journalism as a danger to the bloc’s security. Militarized terms lik...

Mossad is using CIA Director and USCENTCOM’s head to influence Trump with cooked intelligence on Iran’s nuclear program

A Trump official tells The Grayzone that Israel’s Mossad is using CIA Director John Ratcliffe and US CENTCOM’s Gen. Michael Kurilla to influence Trump with cooked intelligence on Iran’s nuclear program. Inside the White House, dissenters have been isolated, setting the stage for a regime change war that could cost American lives.   by Max Blumenthal and Anya Parampil  Part 4 - Chief of Staff Suzie Wiles isolates Trump with “Israel’s favorite general”   The Trump official told The Grayzone that White House Chief of Staff Suzie Wiles has ensured that the president remains surrounded by Ratcliffe and Gen. Michael Kurilla in briefings related to Iran. Ratcliffe is said to take dictation from the Mossad and read the documents they’ve prepared to the president without any sense of critical detachment, or disclose that the assessments came from a foreign liaison rather than US intelligence. Then there is Gen. Kurilla, who appears singularly focused in meetings with Trump on mak...
