Confirmed: Unpopular US President Kamala Harris is the most faithful puppet of the corporate oligarchy
A recent article published on Bloomberg exposes impressively two things:
First, that the Democrats have no intention to even slightly move from their pro-corporate positions and towards the interests of the US working class; on the contrary.
Second, the elites essentially replaced Joe Biden with Kamala Harris.
The article was re-published by various websites and the surprises already start from the title: Harris quietly taps Wall Street, tech CEOs for advice on policy. Not that it is something we didn't expect, but why a top establishment outlet admits that Harris "quietly" runs to the banking-corporate oligarchy for "instructions"?
Perhaps more surprisingly, the answer can be found within the article itself:
The
corporate world has provided a familiar source of help. As California's
attorney general, Harris gained a reputation for frequently partnering
with technology companies — rather than prosecuting them — as she sought
to address thorny policy issues. Corporate
leaders who have worked with Harris — along with multiple White House
aides who requested anonymity to discuss internal operations of the vice
president's office — say the engagement has offered opportunities for
the vice president to make an impact on issues she cares about. It's a strategy that carries some risk. Close
ties to the leaders of the nation's biggest corporations could alienate
the Democratic voters already unhappy with her over her career as a
prosecutor before being elected to the Senate in 2016. And corporate
leaders have used the conversations to push Harris on their own
priorities, lobbying against changes to the tax code or for legislation
that could prove a boon to their companies. That could prove problematic
if she once again seeks her party's nomination for president. |
You couldn't find more blatant evidence (not even in secret emails-exchange leaks) about the level of corporate Democrats corruption and their unquestionable devotion to the corporate interests. About the fact that the political/corporate elites put voter's preferences to the bottom of the list of their priorities. And, of course, about who is now oligarchy's most beloved queen beyond Hillary Clinton.
Already since May 2019, we identified
a CNN attempt to promote pro-establishment candidates using Bernie
Sanders progressive agenda. As we mentioned, the panel setup revealed
that Harris was the number one favorite of the establishment.
And even before Biden pick Harris for the VP position we wrote that, as the establishment players who pull the strings know very well Biden's profound weaknesses, they want to make sure that he will be replaced by their best puppet in case he will become unable to fulfill duties. It seems that the puppet is called Kamala Harris. And in fact, it seems that the establishment players are eager to replace Biden with their top female Obama, in the end.
It would be worth to remember how unpopular Kamala Harris was. As Saagar Enjeti pointed out, "she had to drop out before Iowa because she was going to lose, not only in Iowa, but likely in her home state of California. She was a disaster. She plummeted to 3% in the primary and Yang, at one point, was out-polling her in California! And once again, none of this was ever taken seriously, the media completely dismissed it."
Well, it doesn't matter. The elites want her badly and it looks like the Americans finally got their first female president without even electing her!
While Biden was chosen by the liberal elites to attract lobotomized ultra-conservative Americans who are comfortable only with a white conservative old guy in power, Harris is their top agent.
Harris is a combination of a female Obama - suitable to distract public from the real issues through weaponized identity politics - and a 21st century US version of Margaret Thatcher. Which is the perfect hybrid for the 21st century corporate feudalism. Can't get worse.
