Venezuela’s Supreme Court validated Nicolas Maduro’s election win in the country’s recent presidential election, securing him a third term ending in 2031. Despite the ruling, which was the result of an electoral audit, the United States and the right-wing Venezuelan opposition continue to claim election fraud and refuse to recognize the validity of Maduro’s win.
