How robots communicate with each other

Nowadays, robotics is one of the most rapidly developing fields of science. Each year, experts create advanced machines, which among other things, can communicate with each other by various means. Commonly, robots send to each other signals through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, but these technologies are capable of transmitting only a limited number of signals, according to popmech.ru. Meanwhile, scientists at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute have created new software, which enables a machine to understand the body poses and movements of people. Yaser Sheikh, one of the experts involved in the project, said that these methods will create new ways for people and robots to communicate with each other, as well as give the robots a chance to better understand the world around them. The ability to recognize poses, for example, will give people an opportunity more easily to communicate with computers simply by pointing at things. Robots also

Cartels use drones to smuggle drugs into US

Somewhere in a powder-filled room, Tony Montana is kicking himself - unless he's preoccupied with something else - for not thinking of this drug smuggling tactic. On August 8, at about 11:30 at night, an agent patrolling the US-Mexico border near San Ysidro, California, heard the sounds of a buzzing motor coming from out of nowhere. However, the sound wasn't from a nearby car: it was coming from above. Seconds later, the vigilant agent saw a remote control-operated drone whizzing over the Mexico border into US territory. From there, he tracked the flying machine and radioed fellow patrolmen. The authorities were eventually led to an entrepreneurial 25-year-old man who was caught hiding the drugs in a lunchbox. The $5,000 drone was found hidden in a nearby bush. [...] Once arrested by border agents, Jorge Edwin Rivera quickly spilled the beans on the whole operation. According to federal court documents, Rivera, who was getting $1,000 for every

The Donnie for Afghanistan: Then and Now

failed evolution Then: Now:            President Trump, searching for a reason to keep the United States in Afghanistan after 16 years of war, has latched on to a prospect that tantalized previous administrations: Afghanistan’s vast mineral wealth, which his advisers and Afghan officials have told him could be profitably extracted by Western companies. http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2017/08/trump-establishment-common-agenda.html

Liberation of Mosul from Daesh to take less than 2 months

Iraqi Ambassador to Russia Haidar Mansour Hadi claims that the final liberation of Iraq's Mosul from Daesh terrorists will take less than two months. The final liberation of Iraq's Mosul from militants of the Islamic State terrorist group (Daesh, ISIL) will take less than two months, Iraqi Ambassador to Russia Haidar Mansour Hadi said. " Now, when the talk is about small 'nests' where terrorists still remain, the advance proceeds much faster, while there is a decadent spirit among ISIL militants, so it will be much easier to finish them. I would say that it will take less than two months, " Hadi said in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper. " As for the funds — to bring Mosul to the state in which the city was before the arrival of ISIL, it will require $1 billion, " he said. On July 10, the Iraqi authorities officially announced the victory over the Daesh in Mosul, the operation to liberate which was underway since

ExxonMobil, Kochs, Israel pushing Washington to partition Iraq and Syria

The currently stateless Kurds sit astride the Iraq-Syria border on land blessed/cursed with oil, other resources, and geopolitical significance. Is it any wonder that mega-corporations and their client states are looking to use the Kurds, stoke conflict, and exploit the situation? by Whitney Webb Part 7 - Syria partition plan follows the Iraqi partition playbook Iraq is by no means the only Middle Eastern country that Western powers are seeking to partition. The partition of Syria has been repeatedly sold to the public as the “only” solution to Syria’s ongoing “sectarian” conflict, now well into its seventh year. However, this sectarianism was engineered and stoked by foreign powers to bring about the current conflict in Syria. WikiLeaks revealed that the CIA was involved in instigating anti-Assad and “sectarian” demonstrations as early as March 2011. Declassified CIA documents show the plan to engineer sectarianism in order to weaken the Syrian state dates back to a

A barely known brutal operation by the US-trained Colombian army against civilians

While Colombia is known for one of the worst human rights records in the world, it remains a top recipient of US military aid and enjoys uncritical press coverage in Western media--all while Trump threatens military intervention against Venezuela over unsubstantiated allegations. globinfo freexchange Abby Martin spoke to human rights attorney Dan Kovalik, who has recently returned from both countries. In a part of the interview, Kovalik spoke about the "false positive" scandal and the atrocities by the Colombian military against civilians:            The Colombian military which has been trained by the United States, was responsible for the "false positive" scandal which people may remember. It's fairly recent. The high-water markers between 2002 and 2009, where they killed between about 4,000 and 6,000 civilians, that they knew were civilians, but they dressed them up as guerrillas, would kill them and put uniforms on them, guns o

Shameful’ Theresa May rejects 9/11 survivors’ appeal to release Saudi Arabia terrorism report

Prime Minister Theresa May has rejected an appeal by survivors of the 9/11 terrorist attacks to publish a report into the role of Saudi Arabia in funding Islamic extremism in Britain. In July, the government announced that the Home Office report, which was commissioned by former Prime Minister David Cameron, will not be published because of “national security reasons” and the “vast amount of personal information” it contains. The announcement that the report, completed six months ago, would be permanently shelved has sparked widespread condemnation amid claims the government is trying to cover up substantial evidence of Saudi Arabia funding terrorist organizations in the UK. Joining the chorus of opposition, a group of 9/11 survivors signed a public letter to May, urging her to publish the report. “ The UK now has the unique historic opportunity to stop the killing spree of Wahhabism-inspired terrorists by releasing the UK government’s report on ter

Sweden to deport 106yo Afghani woman, world’s ‘oldest refugee’

Prominent Chinese economist warns country's debt becoming problem

China’s growing debt is affecting the country and the global economy, according to Charlene Chu, an influential China analyst. " Everyone knows there’s a credit problem in China, but I find that people often forget about the scale. It’s important in global terms, " Chu said in an interview with the Financial Times. Chu, who made her name warning of the risks from China’s credit binge, has predicted that by the end of the year, the country will accumulate $7.6 trillion worth of the so-called "bad" debt. The comment came the day after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) warned that Chinese debt could be the reason for the next financial crisis as borrowing becomes unsustainable. " International experience suggests that China’s credit growth is on a dangerous trajectory, with increasing risks of a disruptive adjustment or a marked growth slowdown, " the IMF report said. The IMF said China needed three times as much credit las
