Γιατί οι “banksters” γελάν με την πρόσφατη απόφαση του ECOFIN

του system failure

Είναι, σε πολλούς, γνωστή η υπόθεση των τραπεζιτών της Agglo-Irish bank στην Ιρλανδία, όπου σε κάποιες μαγνητοσκοπημένες συνομιλίες, που αποκάλυψε η Ιρλανδική “Independent” (http://www.independent.ie/business/irish/inside-anglo-the-secret-recordings-29366837.html), δύο βασικά στελέχη της τράπεζας συνομιλούν, και... γελώντας, αποκαλύπτουν ότι παραπλάνησαν την Ιρλανδική κυβέρνηση, ζητώντας στην αρχή 7 δισ. ευρώ, ενώ γνώριζαν ότι αυτά δεν ήταν αρκετά για να διασωθεί η τράπεζα. Οι banksters δεν αποκάλυψαν την αρχική ζημιά της καταρρέουσας τράπεζας, με σκοπό να παρασύρουν την κυβέρνηση σε αλλεπάλληλα πακέτα διάσωσης υπέρ της και σε βάρος των φορολογουμένων. Το τελικό ποσό διάσωσης για την Agglo-Irish bank, ανήλθε στα 30 δισ. ευρώ, δηλαδή σχεδόν στο 22% του ΑΕΠ ολόκληρης της Ιρλανδίας!

Είναι σχεδόν βέβαιο ότι, οι banksters αυτή τη φορά θα γελάν με την απόφαση που πήρε το ECOFIN, πριν από περίπου ένα μήνα, σχετικά με τη συμμετοχή των μετόχων και των καταθετών στις μελλοντικές ζημιές των τραπεζών, αυτό που ονόμασαν “bail in”. Και αυτό γιατί, μέσα σε τέτοιες συνθήκες απορρύθμισης, οι banksters έχουν τη δυνατότητα, όχι μόνο να μην πληρώσουν ούτε σεντ από την τσέπη τους, σε μια νέα ενδεχόμενη τραπεζική κρίση, αλλά αντίθετα, να βγουν και κερδισμένοι βάσει αμέτρητων σεναρίων.

Η απόφαση καταρχήν μετατρέπει τους καταθέτες σε “επενδυτές με το ζόρι”, με την διαφορά ότι δεν θα έχουν κανένα δικαίωμα στην επιλογή των επενδύσεων της όποιας τράπεζας. Σκεφτείτε ότι πριν από τρεις δεκαετίες και περισσότερο, οι καταθέσεις στις τράπεζες απολάμβαναν ασφάλεια και υψηλά επιτόκια. Με την απόφαση αυτή, αντί οι καταθέτες να προστατεύονται από τις κακές επενδυτικές επιλογές των golden boys που έχουν σαν αποκλειστικό οδηγό την απληστία τους, ουσιαστικά θα θεωρούνται συνυπεύθυνοι για τις επιλογές αυτές και θα συμμετέχουν στις ζημιές, χωρίς να έχουν κανένα λόγο.

Βάσει ενός μόνο σεναρίου, οι μεγαλομέτοχοι αλλά και οι μεγαλοκαταθέτες ειδικών προνομίων, οι οποίοι θα έχουν τις κατάλληλες προσβάσεις στην “εσωτερική πληροφόρηση” για μια επικείμενη τραπεζική κρίση, θα έχουν την δυνατότητα να αποσύρουν έγκαιρα, κεφάλαια και καταθέσεις, αφήνοντας τους υπόλοιπους, δηλαδή στην πλειοψηφία τους μικροκαταθέτες και ανεξάρτητους μετόχους, να πληρώσουν τα σπασμένα. Κατόπιν μπορούν, αν επιθυμούν, να επανέρχονται με διαφορετικό επενδυτικό σχήμα, ως σωτήρες της καταρρέουσας τράπεζας, αποκτώντας και πάλι τον κεντρικό έλεγχο και βγαίνοντας κερδισμένοι, αφού αυτή τη φορά το απαιτούμενο ελάχιστο κλασματικό αποθεματικό θα είναι μικρότερο και θα μπορούν να συμμετέχουν με λιγότερα κεφάλαια.

Αυτό είναι ένα μόνο από τα πολλά σενάρια. Πέρα από αυτό, η απόφαση πλήττει ιδιαίτερα τις μικρότερες εμπορικές τράπεζες που στηρίζονται σε μεγάλο βαθμό στις καταθέσεις και έτσι γίνονται ακόμη πιο εύκολη λεία για τις μεγάλες επενδυτικές τράπεζες οι οποίες ελέγχουν και τη ροή του χρήματος στην ευρωζώνη και που είναι κατά κύριο λόγο υπεύθυνες για την τελευταία μεγάλη οικονομική κρίση σε ΗΠΑ και Ευρώπη, με βάση την έκθεση της FCIC, της Αμερικανικής επιτροπής για την οικονομική κρίση.

Η απόφαση επίσης ευνοεί τις μεγάλες ασφαλιστικές εταιρίες, καθώς σε ένα ενδεχόμενο “bail in”, αυτοί που θα κληθούν πρώτοι για την διάσωση, εκτός από τους μετόχους, θα είναι οι ανασφάλιστοι πιστωτές και οι ανασφάλιστες καταθέσεις μεγάλων εταιριών.

Επιπλέον, οι υπεύθυνοι του ECOFIN, δεν μπήκαν στον κόπο να διευκρινίσουν τι θα γίνει με την απόφαση που πήραν οι Ευρωπαίοι ηγέτες πριν από περίπου ένα χρόνο στην Ευρωπαϊκή σύνοδο κορυφής, με πρωτοβουλία του τότε Ιταλού πρωθυπουργού Μάριο Μόντι, με βάση την οποία, οι τράπεζες θα ανακεφαλαιοποιούνται απευθείας από τους Ευρωπαϊκούς μηχανισμούς στήριξης, χωρίς την “ενοχλητική” εποπτεία των επιμέρους κρατών-μελών, αλλά σε βάρος, φυσικά, των Ευρωπαίων φορολογουμένων συνολικά.

Έτσι, η μάταιη προσπάθεια των Ευρωπαϊκών αρχών να βάλουν κάποιους κανόνες σε ένα σύστημα που οι ίδιες έχουν απορρυθμίσει και συνεχίζουν να απορρυθμίζουν, με οδηγό την Ελλάδα και την Ελληνική κρίση, υπέρ του μεγάλου κεφαλαίου, φαίνεται ότι προκαλεί και πάλι το γέλιο στους banksters. Όμως, εμείς οι υπόλοιποι που βιώνουμε τις τραγικές συνέπειες της κρίσης που αυτοί δημιούργησαν, δεν έχουμε, δυστυχώς, την... πολυτέλεια να γελάσουμε.
