H EBU σταματάει την υποστήριξή της στην ΕΡΤ: Ακόμα μία νίκη της νεοφιλελεύθερης δικτατορίας

του system failure

H Ευρωπαϊκή Ραδιοτηλεοπτική Ένωση (EBU), μέσω μιας λιτής ανακοίνωσης που αναρτήθηκε στην επίσημη ιστοσελίδα της (http://www3.ebu.ch/cms/en/sites/ebu/contents/news/2013/08/ert-streaming-to-end-as-interim.html), σταματάει την μετάδοση του σήματος της ΕΡΤ από αύριο Τετάρτη 21 Αυγούστου. Η απόφαση της EBU αποτελεί άλλη μια μεγάλη ήττα για την δημοκρατία όχι μόνο στην Ελλάδα αλλά και στην Ευρώπη, καθώς επικυρώνεται η αντιδημοκρατική απόφαση της Ελληνικής κυβέρνησης να κλείσει με συνοπτικές διαδικασίες την Ελληνική δημόσια τηλεόραση με μια προκλητική ανακοίνωση στις 11 Ιουνίου.

Έτσι, η EBU ανοίγει την πόρτα για το κλείσιμο και άλλων Ευρωπαϊκών δημοσίων τηλεοράσεων και ραδιοφώνων, παρά το γεγονός ότι από την αρχή φάνηκε να αντιδρά έντονα στην απόφαση της Ελληνικής κυβέρνησης και παρείχε πλήρη υποστήριξη στους απολυμένους της ΕΡΤ προκειμένου να συνεχίσουν να εκπέμπουν κανονικά.

Στην ανακοίνωση, η EBU αναφέρει ως δικαιολογία γι'αυτή την απόφαση, το γεγονός ότι, το κανάλι ΔΤ, το οποίο αντικατέστησε την πραγματική Ελληνική δημόσια τηλεόραση, θα αρχίσει να προσφέρει υπηρεσίες ενημέρωσης.

Έτσι, εξηγείται τελικά και η βιαστική απόσυρση της συλλογής υπογραφών από την γνωστή ιστοσελίδα avaaz.org, προς τον Έλληνα πρωθυπουργό, που έγινε με πρωτοβουλία της ίδιας της EBU πριν από λίγο καιρό (http://www.avaaz.org/en/petition/EBU_Petition_Get_ERT_back_on_air/), προκειμένου να επαναλειτουργήσει η Ελληνική δημόσια τηλεόραση ως έχει.

Στην σύντομη περιγραφή της συγκεκριμένης πρωτοβουλίας, κάτω από τον τίτλο “Γιατί είναι αυτό σημαντικό”, μπορεί κανείς να διαβάσει μεταξύ άλλων ότι “... οποιεσδήποτε ευρείες αλλαγές στο σύστημα των δημοσίων ΜΜΕ, πρέπει να αποφασίζονται μόνο μετά από ανοιχτή και ολοκληρωμένη δημοκρατική συζήτηση στη Βουλή – και όχι μέσω μιας απλής συμφωνίας μεταξύ δύο υπουργών της κυβέρνησης.”

Παρόλα αυτά, η EBU, μέσω της τελευταίας της ανακοίνωσης και της πρόθεσής της να σταματήσει την υποστήριξη στην πραγματική Ελληνική δημόσια τηλεόραση, δηλώνει ταυτόχρονα και την πρόθεσή της να βοηθήσει την Ελληνική κυβέρνηση, παρέχοντας την υποστήριξή της στο νέο σχήμα που θα αντικαταστήσει την ΕΡΤ.

Έτσι, η νεοφιλελεύθερη δικτατορία κερδίζει άλλη μια μεγάλη μάχη σε τρία τουλάχιστον σημαντικά μέτωπα:

1ον, οδηγεί στα άκρα τον κοινωνικό αυτοματισμό, ένα βασικό εργαλείο με το οποίο επιβάλλεται, καθώς θα φέρει αντιμέτωπους εργαζόμενους της ΕΡΤ που θα προσληφθούν με συμβάσεις στο νέο κανάλι που ετοιμάζει η κυβέρνηση, απέναντι σε αυτούς που δεν θα προσληφθούν.

2ον, επικυρώνεται και μέσω των Ευρωπαϊκών οργανισμών, όπως η EBU, το κλείσιμο ή ακόμα και η αυτοκατάργηση άλλων δημόσιων οργανισμών, τόσο στην Ελλάδα όσο και στην Ευρώπη, με συνοπτικές αντιδημοκρατικές διαδικασίες.

3ον, παρακάμπτονται πλήρως τα όργανα και οι Ευρωπαϊκοί θεσμοί υπεράσπισης των εργασιακών δικαιωμάτων, καθώς οι εργαζόμενοι οδηγούνται εκβιαστικά στην επαναπρόσληψη με συμβάσεις περιορισμένου χρόνου, κάτω από άκρως “ευέλικτες” συνθήκες, που οδηγούν γρηγορότερα στον εργασιακό μεσαίωνα όλο και περισσότερους εργαζόμενους, όχι μόνο στον ιδιωτικό, αλλά πλέον και στον δημόσιο τομέα.

Επιπλέον, η δημόσια τηλεόραση περνάει υπό τον πλήρη έλεγχο της κάθε κυβέρνησης. Έτσι, είτε θα γίνει το απόλυτο εργαλείο προπαγάνδας και παραπληροφόρησης, είτε θα κλείσει οριστικά και αμετάκλητα, αφού οι μαριονέτες της νεοφιλελεύθερης δικτατορίας θα φροντίσουν να την υποβαθμίσουν στο μέγιστο βαθμό.

Πρέπει να σημειώσουμε ότι η ιστοσελίδα του The Press Project, ανακοίνωσε ότι θα συνεχίσει την μετάδοση του προγράμματος της ΕΡΤ με δικά της μέσα, παρά την απόφαση της EBU:

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. The real "Minority Report"?

It was recently reported that the Chicago Police Department has implemented an Orwellian new program that targets innocent citizens based on indicators that they might be a person who has the potential to carry out a crime.
