US imperialists activate their ISIS proxies to alter the nature of war in Afghanistan

It took only a few days for the US declining empire to return to Afghanistan after its disorderly retreat under Biden's order. And what a surprise: another drone strike, another murder of civilians - kids among them, another war crime. That is, the routine outcome of every US military intervention the last decades.

It was a matter of time before "uncle Joe" bent to the enormous pressure by the sinister war machine. The combined, stormy attack by the corporate media and the deep state against his decision to withdraw the US forces from Afghanistan, created a suffocating situation.

And while the Western propaganda machine announced the definite withdrawal of the US forces from the Afghan soil - after the new US war crime - the pressure and harsh criticism on Biden never ended. On the contrary, it seems that the criticism against his decision to withdraw all US forces is getting more and more intensive.

The Western propaganda machine not only had nothing to say about the CIA death squads atrocities all these years in Afghanistan. It has deliberately removed from the big picture the fact that both Taliban and ISIS were to a great extent the product of the US intervention policy.

The Western propaganda in most cases equalized Taliban with ISIS. And even worse, continued to blame the Taliban for all the bad outcomes in Afghanistan, almost ignoring the presence of ISIS and its consequences. This is the result of a certain US strategy to make Taliban and ISIS appear as if they are close allies. And this is very far from truth and the real, very complicated situation in Afghanistan.

In a 2015 detailed article, Eric Draitser pointed out [emphasis added]:

While the western media was replete with stories of ISIS and Taliban factions fighting together under the Islamic State’s banner, it has become clear since then that, rather than a collaboration between the groups, there has simply been a steady migration of fighters from the Taliban to ISIS which, if the stories are to be believed, pays much better. In fact, the last few months have demonstrated that, there is in fact competition between the two, and that Taliban and ISIS groups have fought each other in very intense battles.

Such skirmishes have now become a regular occurrence, pointing to a growing war between ISIS and Taliban factions. Increasingly, the war is being transformed from one waged by the Taliban against the Kabul government and its US and NATO patrons, into a war with competing groups fighting each other for supremacy on the battlefield and in the political life of the country.

... it is beyond a shadow of a doubt that ISIS is to a large degree an asset of the US and its western allies. As if one needed further confirmation of this point, former Afghan President Hamid Karzai, himself no stranger to the machination of US intelligence, bluntly declared just last month that ISIS could not possibly have expanded into Afghanistan "without a foreign hand, without foreign backing."

Recall that in 2016, for the first time in the US history, a member of the US Congress officially proposed a bill that would prohibit the US government funding terrorists!

As Tulsi Gabbard said in her speech back then, "... under US law, it is illegal for you, or me, or any American, to provide any type of assistance to Al-Qaeda, ISIS, or other terrorist groups. If we broke this law, we'll be thrown in jail. Yet the US government has been violating this law for years, directly and indirectly supporting allies and partners of groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIS, with money, weapons, intelligence and other support in their fight to overthrow the Syrian government."

Also, according to a 2019 report by The Economic Times, "The US military is allegedly allowing members of the ISIS, which have suffered serious defeats in Syria and neighboring Iraq, to infiltrate Afghanistan even as US is engaged with peace talks with Taliban for sake of stability in the landlocked country. There are allegations that weapons are often transferred to the territory of Afghanistan by helicopters without identifying insignia. With the US and NATO fully controlling the skies over Afghanistan, there is every reason to believe they had a hand in that, or at least, did not hamper these flights, sources alleged."

Kyle Kulinski explains perfectly the dirty game of the US propaganda, pro-war machine. From the first minute they rushed to blame Taliban for the attack at the Kabul airport. Their target was simply to push Biden further on reversing his decision to fully withdraw US forces. In reality, the Taliban were fully cooperating with the US for the safe evacuation of the airport. And it makes sense. Why would they risk to blow up Biden's decision? The last thing they wanted was an attack that would spread chaos and give the Americans a good pretext to reverse their decision for withdrawal.

Kulinski gives the details:

The United States reportedly had a secret deal with the Taliban to escort Americans to the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, CNN.com reported Tuesday. An official revealed the U.S. special operations forces had a "secret gate" at the airport and established "call centers" to help Americans get through the process. None of the information was previously known publicly and the information was clearly hidden from the news, perhaps as a way of protecting against further ISIS attacks. "The officials said Americans were notified to gather at pre-set 'muster points' close to the airport where the Taliban would gather the Americans, check their credentials and take them a short distance to a gate manned by American forces who were standing by to let them inside amid huge crowds of Afghans seeking to flee," said CNN.

The whole thing resembles the alleged attack with chemical weapons by the Syrian army. The US and its allies rushed to blame Assad for such an attack against civilians to find a pretext to start the bombings. Why would Assad do such a thing when he was already winning the war against ISIS with the help of the Russians? And it has been proved that there were no chemical attacks. Plenty of evidence that the Western propaganda machine tried to bury.

Even when the narrative of the alleged Taliban-ISIS coalition collapsed rather quickly, as it seems, the US military still hesitates to cooperate with Taliban against ISIS. That's because it doesn't want to.

Eventually, it seems that Taliban want now to cooperate with China and Russia, in order to bypass US/Western sanctions in the future and bring some level of stability for their country. Human rights is always the big problem, yet the 20-year US presence in the country did nothing to improve substantially those issues. A stable Afghanistan, even under Taliban authority together with a strategic cooperation with China and Russia, may bring some improvement.

Yet, the US imperialists were defeated in Afghanistan and they won't give up that easily. They would prefer to spread more chaos through their proxies and all kinds of mercenaries, rather than leave Afghanistan under the increasing influence of their Sino-Russian major rival bloc.

The US deep state will continue pushing Biden to stay in Afghanistan perhaps by changing the nature of the war. A proxy war against Taliban, frequent drone strikes and mercenaries of private armies will make sure that the country will never find peace and stability. The US empire and its war machine have lost many wars, but they are undoubtedly unbeatable in one thing: establishing permanent chaos and destruction wherever they go.

Israel Shipped in Holidaymakers – Greece Shipped Them Out Again

KernowDamo   We'll fight them on the beaches took on new meaning as an Israeli cruise ship got sent packing in the latest Greek port stand-off!   Earlier this week, the Aegean island of Syros became an unexpected front line in the global movement against Israel’s war on Gaza. A cruise ship, the Crown Iris, carrying approximately 1,600 Israeli tourists, approached the island’s main port expecting a typical summer welcome. Instead, hundreds of Greek islanders lined the waterfront with banners, Palestinian flags, and chants of defiance. “Stop the Genocide” echoed across the harbour as a human blockade formed, preventing passengers from disembarking. After hours of tense standoff, the ship was forced to change course and head toward Cyprus instead, its tourists trapped aboard as unwilling symbols of growing European outrage against Israel’s military campaign. This was no spontaneous protest, it was an organised act of solidarity, a statement that business-as-usual tourism, even on...
