Xi Goes to Moscow as BRICS Countries Unite Against Trump Trade War

 
President Xi Jinping is set to arrive in Moscow tomorrow, May 7, where he’ll meet with Putin and attend Victory Day celebrations. And last week, BRICS foreign ministers convened in Rio de Janeiro to discuss cooperation in the face of Trump’s tariffs. Marco Fernandes joins Amanda Yee this week to discuss these two significant meetings, and what they signal in the face of a new uncertain global economic order introduced by Trump’s trade war.

Fernandes is a geopolitical analyst for Brasil de Fato, an editor of Wenhua Zongheng International, and a member of the Brazilian Chapter of the BRICS Civil Council.
