Iran-linked hacking group Handala has released footage it claims was recorded inside a high-security Israel Defense Forces (IDF) military facility, alleging that its infiltrators gained access to sensitive areas, including military headquarters and meeting rooms. The videos appear to show armoured vehicles, Israeli soldiers and a barracks containing weapons.
Handala has also mocked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over what it describes as security failures and threatened to release more footage and files. The latest claims follow the group’s October 18 announcement of a cyber operation targeting an Israeli military unit responsible for media intelligence monitoring and analysis. Handala claims to have published more than 500 classified documents and tens of thousands of internal messages. The group has also previously released images it said belonged to Israeli security personnel.
